Does anyone have any good ideas on what to do with these on a baneblade?

Use them as spare shells on a basilisk? That's what they look like to me. Spare shells for a big gun

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes

Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Yup. Those are spare shells. Use them for terrain or basing.

Person who owned mine just had them sitting out on the chassis with amusing words written on them.
But like writing Hitler's name on a bomb in WWII.

On a pure gaming Baneblade, they're pretty much useless, unless you have a strange urge to model the Baneblade in the middle of reloading its ammo.

As suggested above, the shells are perfect for something like a Basilisk crew, who are forced to stand on their exposed crew platform to load their gun anyway. Ditto for any other large bore artillery, e.g. ork kannon or whatever.

Most other uses are decorative - an ammo dump, an ammo resupply vehicle, objective markers, etc.

As as been said, they make great decorative pieces for artillery, or spare rounds stowed externally.

This is my Vostroyan Firstborn Griffon Mortar tank, the Dauntless, with two sells waiting to be fired.

They work quite well in this regard. Also useful as bits on an ammo depot terrain piece or objective marker.

Hope that helps. Take it easy.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Mmmmmm, why don't you use one and cut it a bit then have it pinned with a needle or something thin with an explosion behinf it so you can attach it to the front of the cannon so it looks like it just fired a round.(Just a thought)
