Here is my finished Pedro Kantor. Still haven't mastered the suitable art of photography yet, the picture really doesn't do the model justice. Any constructive criticism is welcome, as would be a gallery vote if you like him.

After a long time, he is finally finished. Here is Alexis Polux, first chapter master of the Crimson Fists. I'll try to take better pictures later. Votes and comments very welcome.

Looking good bud, looks a bit like mine!

I don't know if it is the camera like you said or your painting style, but if you want a bit of feedback, I personally like the Crimson Fists to have a slightly darker blue. However, I love the shading on the power fist and armour! Do you mind sharing how you did that? Was it wet blending?

@ WarbossDakka cheers mate. I had originally intended to keep them dark, but when I saw the cover art for Rynn's World, I knew I wanted my fists looking as close to that as I could. The power fist is just khorne red, then thin layers of mephiston, evil sunz and finally wild rider at the edge. Then a few thin layers of khorne red with a little black added in the middle. No wet blending, just thin coats moving closer to the edges. Glazed it with bloodletter, then re-applied the wild rider highlight. The armour will sound a little complicated, but it only took a couple of hours. Started by airbrushing Vallejo imperial blue, then 50:50 mixed with gw alaitoc blue for the highlights, and kept adding more alaitoc, then cleaned out the brush and went pure alaitoc, then mixing in hoeth and worked up to pure hoeth (about seven layers total, thanks to Winterdyne for the advice on adding more layers.) Then I switched to a bristle brush, and used thin coats of hoeth to bring the highlights to a clean edge, tipped with blue horror. Then very thin coats of the imperial blue where applied to the bottom of the panels, slowly adding some black towards the bottoms to shade them. Then a glaze of thinned down Vallejo blue ink, then re-applied the blue horror highlights. Honestly that sounds like a ball ache, but it really didn't take more than a couple of hours.

Nicely done dude that model looks great! The banner, highlighting on the Reds and blues and the parchment look outstanding. As does the gold. I'll be interested to see how you do Polux as Ive just finished reading Pharos and find myself more and more tempted to start an imperial fists army, and in his imperial fist form I have to include him.

Cheers guys. Just cleaned up Polux and another cheeky fella that a very generous friend gave me, I'll paint them together and hopefully have them done in the next month...
