The idea behind it is that, me being a loyalist pig, I Struggle turning my back to the Emperor, so basically this list is based before the Heresy in the Crusade-Era, and I am assuming everyone (Yes even Typhon) to be a Loyalist, unless I am specifically playing a game as a Traitor side. I'm that much of a Emperor Loving Loyalist servant... But for those Uninterested in reading the Army lists, Basically this is a All Terminator Death Guard Force, it may some day expand from that, but for the present it will be Termies.

An Overview so far as to what is in the works:

Calas Typhon.
Heads and Arms M.I.A, Replacements from ForgeWorld as we speak.

And A Squad of 5 Death Shroud Terminators, which Finish off my HQ so far.





I have so far made some progress, Washing up all the parts I have so far, and Undercoating the Death Shroud (excluding the Scythes so far.)



Also On the way is a Squad of 5 Terminators from BaC and A Death Guard Decal Sheet From Forgeworld.

Thank you, and I do plan on buying some Grave Warden Terminators down the track, at the moment I just need some things first to make the 1000pts list, So next along is a Land Raider Phobos (actually going to get the Forgeworld one not the plastic GW one) and a Full box of BaC for the Terminators (and my Local GW has made a rule that if you buy a set from them you can play 30k In their store), The Rest of it I will either sell off, or maybe paint them up as Emperors Children with My partner as she Likes the purple and wants to "bond" with me painting haha.

I have made very little progress with anything recently due to family/friends commitments!
but here is a small snap of what I did quickly last night trying to get the wash right. I attempted a light white onto one of the heads and it came out not anything like I wanted, So I resprayed that one white and need to do the wash again. looks like they will stay mostly like this, with a heavier wash in the deep joints etc.



Had my first 5 BaC Terminators arrive to me at work today, and heading into the local GW tonight with a mate to buy some more paints/spray!

Ah! I wish my wife liked warhammer... She painted up a tactical unit once and she felt bad because it wasnt up to her own standards (shes a perfectionist and paints really cool stuff!)

Also, I would suggest an spartan instead of a LRaider mate. You can shove more bodies in there - Imagine Typhus coming out of that damned vehicle with a 10-man terminator retinue :O

And if you're afraid of messing up your colour, get some of those marine boxes with 3 dudes in there and test your colours. Dont ruin your guys! FW isnt cheap!

Aaaand there are some suggestions on the FW site for Death Guard's colours in the downloads section. You may want to look them up. If I may suggest, get Corax White Spray. Its awesome.

I actually have a bit of an update today!
Sometime last week I received the rest of Typhon in the mail! So I can Start working on him... eventually.


I have done some painting, it has been rather slow recently as it's all a bit new to me painting in this way with the white and thin shades.
Power scythes were done in white, then 'masked' the hands with blu-tac and sprayed the metal parts black, mostly at least.


And here is the most complete one so far, only the arms have been glued so far and the rest is just kind of sitting there to see how it looks.
Base was done with some cork and a 8 year old tub of GW sand. (which I spilled the whole thing half way through... that was fun to recover..)
Only really have the base colour done, heaps of details to pick out, like making the eyes look better than just red, all the bronze and green..(Shoulders not included in the pictures)


Heading out to my local GW tomorrow Night after work to see if they can help me out with doing the weathering, so I will bring an old Marine to try it out on, as I don't really feel like starting all over again...
That's pretty much all for now, kinda been eyeing off my Iron hands Sgt. and some Skitarii sitting on my desk. hmmm..

It's been a while but I'm back with a bit more progress, not a lot but better than none.
I also Picked Up the Forgeworld Limited edition Legion Praetor Tribune this Weekend.


And Stuck him together with a bit of Tac +based him up. Wasn't sure how I felt about the included head, but unable to find one that fits in makes me think I will just go with it anyway, it's not too bad I suppose.


Now for some actual progress... Been working on the BAC Cataphractii Terminators I managed to get. After priming white I filled in all the base colours like the bronze and green so if i slip a bit I can at least try to touch it up with some thin white before doing to Sepia tint.

So still the layers onto the bronze and whatnot to do, and I think I will do another wash of Sepia to bring the model more in line with the Death Shrouds. Still scared to do the weathering at the moment, I feel the need to do a few more test models to make sure I like the effects.
I also managed to finish (minus the weathering) one Death Shroud, which I am happy with so far, which i will take photos of in better light once I pull myself together and weather him up.



I had a lot of fun doing the burnt gun barrels (though it is next to impossible to see the effect on the Death Shroud from these pictures), as normally I have been just doing sepia on the tips, so I may actually go back and redo this effect on my Iron Hands aswell!
I also picked up an amazing deal on a Knight Paladin this weekend to be Displayed as house Taranis to go with my Skitarii or Ironhands, but that's a whole different story haha!

Huzzah! I have actually finished something! (2 Somethings!)
I went pretty light on the weathering, it may not be as much as i would really like, but the threat of trashing the $$$ models are to high!
Good enough for gaming standard at least! Though for some reason the sun comes down sooner and was casting too much of a shadow so I will have to take better pictures again!

Finally! managed to get some progress uploaded, Actually missing a few pictures of the 110% finished Death Shroud, But I'm sure they will come along in the next few days. I Really had to get these guys down and Dirty, being that's how Death guard Show off all their achievements and what not.



Also did a head swap on the New Praetor Tribune. Death shroud shown here also has not received the final wash and Dirty Legs.

I agree with @teban Spartans are awesome. Awesome models, awesome vehicle, and a beast on the table. However I will warn you. Dry fit. For the love of god ... dry fit. It's a puzzle to get together, at least the one I got. Oh so worth it though. As far as satisfying the resin crack addiction you'll have soon if you don't have it already, the spartan is a great fix!

Excited to see Tyhon and where this army goes!! Will stay tuned

Actual Good* Completion Photos! Sick as a Dog today (Strange that I happen to be working on Death Guard... Keep your filthy Hands off me Nurgle!) but I decided to try and Completely finish the Death Shroud and take some Good* Pictures.
Added A nice rusty spent bolter to the base, because it just looked so empty it needed something there. Something is telling me the Praetor Tribune is next on the list, even though I still have 8 Half finished Terminators on my desk (4 Death Shroud & 4 Cataphractii)....

*Good Meaning, Not complete Badness...

Thank you for the kinda words, I have made a little more progress. The Praetor Tribune being the subject of my attention. Not much to say about this bit of progress besides "I finished his legs"....
I have actually made more progress on the main body at time of writing, but I can't be bothered to plug everything p to upload it, so I'll save that for next time!

Yet Another Update! I Didn't 100% finish The Praetor Tribune, but he is now Ready to receive the few decals that will be the final touch (Plus some weathering on the shoulder pads and little shield things).
Getting ready to toss between more DG Terminators, finishing off the 2 Iron hands Marines I have going, Or Trying to finish My Tiny Skitarii Army....

It Just keeps getting better! As soon as I finished work and got home, Decided that I was going to make sure to finish the Praetor Tribune!
I am actually really happy with how he has turned out, I might have to make a 2nd Army list with him in it. I also did a tiny bit of work on my Skitarii but that is unrelated really.
