After a long history with my favorite chapter the Raven Guard it's time for a change. I've always been appealed by the World Eaters and their berserk nature but chaos doesn't really do it for me! I've recently been reading up on the Badab War and there they were! The Carcharodons! I'll try to update you guys as often as possible with WIP picks of my latest squads and possibly some fluff for my force as well. So thanks for stopping by, I hope ye enjoy!

Just a few pictures of my first few Space Sharks, still being worked on. I'm starting with an assault squad which will eventually ride into battle aboard a Rhino. I plan to pose most of my models in dynamic positions to capture the chapter's ferocity in battle. What do you guys think?

Just a quick update! Slowly getting there, most of the Marines have their base coat done...aiming to have the armour completely finished tomorrow evening!

Space Sharks. FW did a great job with this chapter, about as blood thirsty as you can get and not find yourself on the wrong side of the Inquisition. Looking forward to seeing this army grow. Looks good so far.

So my power armour is slowly (very slowly) but surely reaching the shade of grey I want it to be, perfect to show off plenty of blood splatters! Highlights will be next and that should be th hardest part done! Anyway here's a few pictures of the progress

So it been a while since my last update but I'm finally finished all of the grey! Should be just weapons and detailing left to do on the squad, any cool ideas for squad names? I'm already planning my next purchase, I'm torn between five more assault marines or making a start on a terminator squad with plenty of chainfists...what do you guys think?

You could name them after various species of sharks and since they speak high gothic (in the fluff) just make it latin species names like Isurus etc.

So I think the best course of action is to name my vehicles using the Latin names for different shark species and for squads us English names like Bull Squad, Tiger Squad and Mako Squad etc. Any other suggestions out there?

I like the idea of Latin shark names. My vote goes to terminators - the more chainfists the merrier!

Seconding the shark species names.

If you go that route, definitely name your Apothecary "Cirratum".

I'm leaning towards a few terminators myself! Here's a quick picture, squad 90% complete. Hoping to be finished tomorrow

I saw Cap 3 a couple of days ago - although didn't turn out how I expected, I really enjoyed it

Blood looks good - must say though I do think more of it is appropriate

First big milestone reached for the Space Sharks as the first squad is finally finished! They took a lot of work but I am happy enough to set them loose to soak the galaxy in the blood of the Emperor's enemies!

Your posing is very good. To often we see the same static poses, especially on terminators.

Devastating squad should be hammerhead , dreadnought=megaladon.

Painting is looking great, will you do any sort of tribal tattoo like the contempt or has?

Thanks guys! I feel that posing is the best way to add character to an army so I'm doing my best to give these guys a dynamic look to represent the Space Shark's aggressive battle style (although terminators are difficult to pose).
I plan to give most models tribal markings! There are a few on my assault squad bit my freehand isn't the greatest just yet!

Unfortunately I'm making very slow progress without terminators but progress all the same! Base coats are nearly all done now! I will throw some pictures up later on tonight! That'll be it for about two weeks or so as I am traveling with work, so things will be a bit quiet around here...

Just a quick shot of my progress...not much to show yet, but you might notice I've decided to leave the helmets black. I think it will make them look more sinister than the traditional white helmets of veteran marines, any thoughts??

Will you be drilling out the barrels on the storm bolters, Airborne?

And do you have any plans to pick up the crazy Space Sharks dude from Forge World? The Red Wake, I think his name is.

To be honest I usually just paint the end of my barrels black rather than drilling them out but I may give it a go this time! As for Tyberos, I have no intention of buying him simply because I think it's an awful looking miniature! I'll be building my own captain but I have no plans for him as of yet.
