Please join us and support these new 28mm figures for the Legendary Pre-Contact Era of native North America.
The program has 28 individual hand sculpted miniatures in 28mm metal - these sculpts are already complete! These figures are great for use in other systems, too, such as for Skraelings to fight vikings.
The rules are a skirmish level tabletop game for two players but the campaign game allows multiple players to finish games in an evening while improving their warbands. The game has a creative card system to determine the winners in close combat. The spirit and mythology of the native people is also featured in the figures and in the rules. Players must check their initiative using a medicine roll which determines how many groups of figures must move and also can bring elements of the period into the game including items like random terrain features, weather changes, or elements from the mythology like Oki's.

The figures are really good, and they are all excellent quality, I don't see any bad sculpts in there at all.
Best of luck to you on the project, I hope to see you in funding it later on if I can get some funds from the spousal unit.
Do you have a comparison shot in there, somewhere?

Thanks for all the compliments! It is good to have such a positive response.
The campaign is over 50% funded at this point.
We do not have a comparison shot but the figures are sculpted by Bob Murch of Pulp Figures so they are pretty true 28mm scale. If you have pulp you have figures of the same size.
We do have canoes, spirit creatures and muskets planned as stretch goal add one. We also have plenty of goals for the game like medicine cards and fancy dice, but those will take some deep support. So join us and help bring this game system to life.

I have read on your blog that your vision for F&F involved a complete game system, including special cards and dice. Will the initial goal cover that or only the rulebook itself?
This game really has a great look to it. Great rules, great models.
Color me impressed and wanting in. Will you have other tribes in there as well?

Bob Murch, the sculptor, is really interested in the whole Native North American culture. He is looking at Plains Indians and West Coast Indians, but this stuff is all talk now and in really early stages of development.
He is also looking at the Neutral tribes and the northern Hudson Bay tribes.

Might I suggest adding a minis-only pledge level? I actually quite like the look of the game myself, and if I back, it'll probably be for the full deal (the minis are gorgeous too!), but I suspect you will have more interest in a minis-only pledge than in a rulebook-only pledge.

New Stretch goal added. It is a little ways out but gives some free items to our supporters and helps make the tabletop skirmish game more enjoyable. The Medicine Deck is a deck of cards that replaces the Medicine Chart in the rules, and cuts down the number of charts you have to check. And you get a free figure as well! Who doesn't like free figures?
