I bought the model today and was given a card with 40k rules on it. I thought that they were the official rules. Turns out that they are a nicely made store set of rules, and therefore, despite being made and given by gw, aren't actually studio rules. Anyway thought I'd share them, and because of the circumstances I thought proposed rules seemed the best place (mods please move if you feel it belongs elsewhere).

It's like they took the model, combined his Paragon Blade with a Charnable Sabre, and then gave him a better version of Corax's stance rule. Wut.

But in 40k...

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

That too. Once again I must say... wut.

Also, DA don't have stubborn as their CT, they have Grim Resolve (stubborn + BS2 overwatch,) and he's in termi armor so shouldn't he be Deathwing?

Oh, I just noticed you can take special issue wargear on him, with no restrictions. So give him a bike and laugh as he is now t5 and has rules to make most named characters blush.

He's in terminator armour. Models in Terminator armour can't have bikes.

I think my main concern is the price tag - AP2 at BOOSTED Initiative, various rules to make him a combat monster, and can even take a storm shield for 2+/3++. He's a damn good melee fighter - I'm just confirming these are unofficial rules?

They/them

Yeah one of the stores knocked them up and shared them around. They are not rules produced by the studio, so are very much agree with your opponent. I shared them, but I won't be using them myself.

He can't get a Storm Shield.

Waaaay too wishlisty rules-wise IMO, putting Emperor's Champions (whose whole schtick is challenge-mongerers) to shame compared to his price tag.

Wow and there's me thinking that these were official rules and this guy was a complete CC monster. At least I know now if anyone starts to use these against me. Thanks for sharing
