Hello all, I guess I missed something because I just visited the GW site for the first time in a while and was surprised at some price changes.

Is it just me or did many of the vehicle models just go up dramatically in price? The Basilisk and Chimera (both were previously $30.00) are now up to $60.00 and $45.00 respectively, the Basilisk literally doubled in price. Also Predator Tanks are now up to $70.00 per model, I swear they were just $60.00 not that long ago.

Some other units like the basic IG Shock Troops have maintained their price, but nearly everything else jumped substantially.

Did I miss something? Or am I just too used to seeing things on Ebay? (Been a long while since I actually visited their official site....)

Check the flag in the top right of your browser. It's probably set to New Zealand or Canada or something. It gives people the wrong country a lot and the prices are different based on where you are. There's a thread like this about once a week, it's pretty common.

Dont worry everyone does it once and a while.

The best part is when you look at those prices for like a week, and budget out your models, only to fight out when you get to the store you can buy double what you thought you could.

That was the first things that went through my mind when I saw the thread title.

One problem is that the GW website likes to remember where you came from last. So if you follow a link to the NZ side to check out the releases a bit early, your browser gets stuck there. Need to manually reset it.

Everytime for me the store defaults to Australian currency. It's horrifying each time.

For some reason the GW website thinks I'm in Sweden. Not sure why, I've never been there.
