My usual loquacity ran out while making my Giant post, so I'll be brief on this one. Rackham models, used as Big 'Uns. A couple of preview images. Then a link to the entire regiment of them. Comments are welcome! Some big 'Uns Some more big 'Uns A big 'Un and a battle standard bearer, including hand-sculpted banner top. With models this beautifully scuplted, you too can have easily-painted bosses for your green hordes! Click here for more.

Nice banner top ! They look pretty okay. Maybe some cleaner work on the hair and a bit more highlighting on the dark leather. Maybe some ink on the metal, but I'm not really sure. Have you one with a done base ?

As requested by Symbio Joe, I've finished basing them and taken some shots! I have to admit, basing is the part of this hobby I seem to have the most trouble with. I decided, for these guys, to do a river base to set them apart from the rest of my squads. I'm not totally sold on the effect, but I guess it's up to tabletop quality. The whole squad of 'em, though the movement tray is not yet done The right half of the squad, centered on its boss. Generic squad member, to give you an idea of the individual basing There are more pictures available at the link above. Or, you can just click here.

Nice ! Does not look like you have a problem with basing.

I like the bases, but I think they'd have looked cooler if you blocked off the very edges and made it so they were standing in a little water instead of having it lap up around their feet. I've always hated the Rackham brutes, and for that matter, most of the BoK line, but these look pretty nice all ranked up together. Good work, although I'd stick with Nelson sculpts in the future, but that's just personal taste
