So I have been working on this board for the last few weeks and have hit kind of a road bump. I feel like the throne room section is a little plane and want to add in some banners on the walls and a large rug extending from the throne into the middle of the room. Though my issue is I have no idea on how to make these and make them look good. So I am open to as may ideas and pointers as I can get even ones not pertaining to the question above. I'm all ears yall!

As for the banners, maybe consider making some paper ones and hang them from the walls/pillars?

Ive thought of the paper idea and it would be a good way of doing it i just want to make sure it has the correct look and texture to make it look as realistic as possible.

Few techniques for banners: aluminium foil coated in PVA (old skool technique); single sheet tissue - facial tissue, not toilet paper or kitchen towel - again coated in PVA (I used this technique to make tarpaulin, but could equally make banners); green stuff rolled out and flattened very thin (I used this technique to make a banner for my Black Templar banner) can also make embossed banners if you have GS skills...

So banners are being made. In the meantime I've gotten a little work done on the rest of the board. Once again always open to ideas and critique.

Thanks for the comments! Once finishing this section of the board I will move onto the next section which will be of the outside of the mountain. I'm still juggling some ideas of what the exterior will be like at the moment maybe a winter area covered in snow or a summer area covered in bright colors and green.
