Feels good doesn't it? I've had a few moments where I realized I was finally painting something I wasn't ashamed of...and it does motivate you. Nice work.

Land raider looks excellent. Glad you are happy with your painting skills, coming to this forum has helped me greatly and made me look at my own painting more critically. Hope to see more of your army here at dakka and maybe if you dont already take part jump into the monthly painting
competition.

You got a stable tabletop look going on there!
I also had a long period where I didn't like my painting at all as well. Or more specific, I did not like to paint but liked to look at pro painted figures. Now I have gotten into the groove and like both to paint myself and enjoy others

You've got quite the nice red there my friend. I suggest some mild highlighting in a few spots, but for tabletop, thats quite nice I remember my first model I finished and realized it wasn't just crap. I think it was a converted Master of the Watch, whichever one of those 4 metal lads with the shoulder resting power maul/hammer was

Looking good, well done on graduating to 'personal acceptance level'. That's a real tough summit to make for anyone.

As a perfectionist, I'll never get there
