Hey Guys, I've been working on my new Primaris Ultramrine army for the last few weeks and thought I'd share my work so far Although the XIIIth are usually pictured very clean I wanted mine to seem like they had been bogged down fighting the Plague wars for some time, so I added some weathering to the armour to give it some character. I also went with the gold knee trim inspired by some of the art to help break up the blue.
Let me know what you think
They look pretty good to me - I've painted quite a few Ultramarines lately and I wouldn't have thought to use nightshade on the armour so liberally but it looks like a solid result - congrats!
Also the weathering is subtle but helps break up the large-ish spaces on the Mk10 armour - I like it.

Thanks Daemonjellybaby! I agree, the bright gold can sometimes look far to garish.
@FreeFrag.UK I was going to magnetise it but the way it is designed actually means both heads slot in quite well without them, so I didn't bother in the end.
