I have nicknamed my space wolves my "Candyland Wolves" because I have been painting them super bright colors. Thus, I decided to make this Knight defending literal Candyland from Orks. I also don't like doing big vehicle bases in boring or old gravel either so have been experimenting with new materials. My next project is an Autumn themed Stormfang with (space) cornucopia base.

Olive green railroad underbrush and lots of Gorilla Superglue over wire. Coated in watered down PVA and sprayed black, then white. There are some youtube videos explaining the process. The end result hides wire really well and makes a sturdy smoke plume.
