These are the best of these conversions I have seen. Well done and well painted.

.. and here I was, cursing GW for not selling Abberants as stand alone (one can only by so many boxes of overkill before any remaining self respect go down the drain)
Totally stealing this idea -Thanks d00d!

Great paint job too, I`m adding some green stuff for moar hunchback + loincloth on mine, but other than that - these are pretty much

I like the blue and orange colour scheme, the contrast really makes them stand out.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Inspired by the Cult of the Rusted Claw, the Duncan tutorial video was of great help.

This! This! I've got a goliath gang box sitting in the bottom drawer of my desk right now with a heap of genestealer cult bits beside it, and I've been scouring the internet for examples before I took the plunge and had a go at it!
These are phenomenal! Really like the use of the metamorph limbs and heads, and the colour contrast is very striking (though personally I prefer my cultists dark and muted, completely devoid of warm colours like red or orange.)

Do you know what your sin is, Malcolm Reynolds?
Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.
But right now, I'm gonna have to go with wrath.

I'm in the same boat as Drakeslayer - I've had the parts and eventual intention to do something similar for a while, but now I think you've given me the motivation to get on and do it!

I particularly like the rusted and weathered nature of the hammers and axes. Would you be willing to share your recipe?

Thankie you all for the kind words

Hmm, the axes and hammers, im going to try to explain:

For the hammers i used Leadbelcher for the base color and Agrax Earthshade for the shade.
Then i put on some Typhus corrosion but try to put it on little bit, basically slighty brush it on because its really thick and can easily ruin the whole thing.
After that i gave it a drybrush of Ryza rust and some Necron compound.
For extra effect i put on some places Runefang steel.

Axes is the same shade and basecolor for the blade.
For the skull i used Screaming bell and Leadbelcher for teeth.
I did not use the same effect that i used on the hammer because i could not make it work but Agrax Earthshade gives the effect of dirtiness.
Finished with a heavy drybrush of Necron compound to give the used look.

Hope it helps

Thank you sir, I hate you for sharing this. Now I have a reason to pick up the Necromunda ‘17 core box. I didn’t like the Goliaths enough for a full gang, but between wanting Abberants for my GSC but not the rest of DW Overkill and ideas for making 1-2 slaves for my Escher’s I now have a use for them.

I was considering trying that, but decided I would not be able to make it work. Now I think it is doably, and will be doing it.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

That is such an awesome conversion - brilliant work!

I only wish I had seen these before being ripped off on ebay, trying to get hold of the basic Aberrant miniature..
