Hello All,

Here is my latest work. The newer plastic Genestealer Cults Broodcoven Magus and Familiar models.

It was an interesting model to work on. Having worked on the OOP metal version long ago I found this version to be very detailed and reminiscent of the OOP one. Lots of similar details. I am glad GW went in that direction with it.

I painted in in purple with brown, red , grey and black for the trim/details. Along with some metallic colors. Used a purple wash over silver paint on the staff icon. That gave it a strange alien tinge to the metal. Which goes well with these guys.

The familiar was painted in blues with purple washes. I am not a big Tyranid fan but I had been wanting to paint the newer plastic Genestealer cult leaders since they came out.

I have these models on eBay auction currently if anybody is interested in them. Here is the link : https://www.ebay.com/sch/dman89/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50&_sop=1

Thank you for looking and I hope you like my work.

D.

Thanks,

It is a mix of Vallejo Game Color "Hexed Lichen" and Army painter white. Adding a little bit more of white for each layer of highlights. With a little bit of Purple wash in deep shadows.
