First, Thank you very much for the compliments they are appreciated.
Second, originally I had tried to prime it yellow with an Army painter spray. That did not work out well at all. I worked on it for a full day trying to get the brush on yellows to work over that yellow primer. But ,no good. I through it in a bowl of Simple Green for 24 hours to strip away the mess I had made. Then I cleaned the model thoroughly and went back to painting as I know how, using a black spray primer as the base. After that it was just building up the layers of brush on yellows. Working it up to a final white highlight. Yellow is really a pain to work with. This will probably be my last Lysander model and I have no plans on working on any more Imperial Fists any time soon ( if ever).
