Yeah, so far they haven't said anything about a second shipment for MA, which is sweet. The sooner i can get my giant stompy robots and all of my wrecked cars and big army trucks... ooooooh shinies!

The scenarios look like a lot of fun. I think the relative simplicity of them should have us seeing a lot of reasonably balanced fan scenarios, and it should be dead simple to write a narrative campaign if one were so inclined.

Hell, the MA rules may even have some application for deadzone, or deadzone lite as you'd have to call it. If you were feeling something ''slightly'' more serious than Mars Attacks, and/or wanted to use your DZ models, but were in a beer n' pretzels mood.

Flicked through the digital mars attacks book, looks really good. Nice clean rules as usual, great layout and I love the stylized artwork.

The martian/human decks are part of the Mars attacks! stuff, and aside from the main box being ready they haven't said much. So far the deadzone decks aren't even at retail but I haveto hope both will hit the shelves eventually.

Came home from work and had a 'Sorry we missed you' leaflet from the postman. Since the only things due for delivery for me is DZ and Relic Knights my money's on DZ. Will pick it up from the Post Office tomorrow and see if it is DZ!

This first phase of parcels mostly contains items like the Strider, Stuntbot, the great new Plague Zombies and the incredible Secret Weapon Gaming Board - any pledge that doesn't contain Asterians or Forge Fathers essentially, of which there are quite a few...

If your pledge contains Asterians and/or Forge Fathers, these will be shipped next, in a second phase of Wave 2 shipping

Please remember that there will be a third shipment that contains just the Enforcers and Enforcers in Peacekeeper Armour, dispatched later this year.

Kickstarter now shipping!

The vast majority of the parcels are being sent out via Royal Mail.

You will receive a dispatch email from kieren.swift at manticgames.com once it has left the warehouse. Please add this email address to your white list so that it isn't caught by your spam filter.

The dispatch email will contain information on estimated delivery times. There will not be a tracking number.

The first order to be picked has gone to Tasmania

If you have paid for courier shipping you will get a dispatch notification from the courier and a tracking number.

We hope everyone is going to be really excited to get their goodies.

We expect shipping to be completed by the start of September so we ask really nicely if you could not message us and ask us where your order is during this time. You will receive a dispatch notification when your order is on its way to you!

Kickstarter Mission Control

We are in the process of updating Kickstarter Mission Control with contents photos of the different kits. We hope to have many of these up tomorrow.

These downloadable sheets include photos of all the different components, as well as codes and labels for identifying what they are.

We’ve taken massive strides to ensure that your Wave 2 package is packed and labeled better than ever, and these pictures and codes are there to further enhance that, so you know what everything is when you unbox it.

The Strider (which can be assembled in 3 different configurations) is 40 components...

This is a massive shipping operation and, despite the steps we’ve taken, there unfortunately may be some misplaced components.

In the unlikely event this happens, please fill out this form here. Please try and use the codes from Mission Control as much as possible. This will help us help you.

I guess that's what I get for ordering Forge Fathers.

Oh well. Good to know things are heading out the door though. Means we'll have all our goodies that much sooner, and on to bigger and better things from Mantic.

So what.. you mean they're going to wait 4 months to send it this time instead? Or well maybe just lose track of it till they get around to sending the enforcers and peacekeepers?

I've decided against asking because the forge father plastics aren't supposed to be in till the 10th and gencon starts the 14th, maybe the 13th for them i think there's an extra day for something businessy or whatever. So seems kind of unlikely with the time crunch, i'll just have to watch for tracking numbers and start hollering earlier if i suspect being forgotten

What do you know about Ariane 5 and LEO?

It bears repeating from first wave shipping that when you get a shipping confirmation number through Fedex you can go to the fedex website and digitally sign for your package so they'll leave the box on your doorstep instead of a note. You can also have them hold it at a specific fedex location for you to pick up in person, most of which are open quite late if you have a 9-5 job.
