Washed a model with Agrax Earthshade and the wash in the recess turned a bit whiter. It is hard to explain but I took a photo and hope that anyone can explain why the wash created this effect, and what I can do to make it not happen again. Only washed the left arm and I hope that it is visible.

Too much water it cant hold the pigment. less water. It could also be that the paint has split I've never used this paint.

My experience is that too much water can cause that to happen. If you go over the spots with “full strength” wash, it should dissolve the deposits (might take a gentle wiggle of the brush) and reincorporate the pigment.

I had something similar happen with Reikland Fleshshade when I watered it down too much.

PS: make sure you shake it really well. There shouldn’t be any sediment on the bottom.

Thx for the answers, will shake it further and problably add a mix ball too and the problem should be solved.
