this is a tamiya 1:35 M113, compared with the size of the primaris marines as shown in the picture.

It can be kitbashing into rhino perfectly. its track can be move, and If there are (if any) PSM in sitting pose, it can be filled with ten.

For the m113/rhino itself, the biggest problem is how to install the two side doors. GW / FW rhino's side door can barely be installed, but it will extend to the top of tracks, resulting in unreasonable structure.

You could trim the doors? Or if they go too low, you could build up the top of the tank a little to make roo there.

Or just build it without, and fill the space with something else. Call it a variant mark. We don’t have access/fire points these days, hull is hull.

I like this a lot, will it count as a rhino or a Repulsor?

As for the doors, like Nevelon said either trim them (imagine the Marines jumping out feet first) or just leave them off, they no longer matter to rules or WYSIWYG.

I had same exact idea!
Not for Rhinos but for the Immolators !

Have not actually tried conversion yet.
I think I would keep M11 as is and forgo the vehicle bits.
And leave the conversion only for the details. like with this attempt to have German weasels as "sentinels"

there is a similar sample of m113-rhino conversion.
IT'S NOT MY OWN WORK.

but i need a cheaper and more reasonable kitbashing solution. In particular, the side doors should not be lower than the track. It is better to use a 30x20 mm Rectangular double doors in m113's case.

Cool!

but
Isnt the whole point of alternative models is for the same unit, to have a look that is common on a different planet system or a world?
I think the Rhino parts are covering up M113 so effectively that the Rhino looks like a standard Rhino?! right? no, maybe justme.

this is not a big problem, if the upper part of the track is covered, no one knows that they are there and as long as you don't want to use open doors it is fine

but i need a cheaper and more reasonable kitbashing solution.

cut the parts out of plasticcard, search for Papercraft 40k tanks to get a template
or use this: https://miniaturescenery.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=154

another solution is to ignore the side doors and just put the chapter markings on the side
with the current rules the doors are not needed anyway and you can use it as an Impulsor in future if you want

M113 with 3D-print conversion bits of sidedoor and a sitting PSM crew.
