I really would like to know how long I have to wait for Lorgar, Dorn, and if they make anything featuring Sigismund I will definitely snap that up....I realize Sigismund only rose to prominence during the second founding, but one can hope.

Well, for sure you'll know that if they make Sanguinius it'll probably be a corpse-ified version for the final battle between Emperor and Horus. XD

I thought Sigismund was the equivalent to Abaddon for the Imperial Fists? First company captain and all? He was also the first Emperors' champion during the siege of the Emperors palace, that's pretty prominent, as well as occurring during the heresy (admittedly in the closing act). I would be surprised if he didn't get a model eventually.

Also rumoured that it's Sigismund who beats down Khan on Terra.

Well, he is described as seeking out the greatest champions of the chaos forces, and besting them all in the Black Templars codex, so that would be possible.

Well, if he appears in the Black Library books, he might get an appearance, like how Loken did. Loken wasn't an original HH character that anyone knew about similar to Horus, Abaddon, et al.

Sigismund has shown up quite a few times in the novels. He's something of an ass.

Spoiler:

He's also seriously angered Dorn. It seems likely that Sigismund will be placed in command of the Black Templars as a prescribed penance.

Well, I perhaps need to correct what I stated. "If he appears in the Black Library books with an epic fight scene, he might get an appearance."

Ugh, I wish I had a job (or just money...) so I'd be able to impulse-buy Fulgrim... Then again, after somebody up-thread mentioned that Forge World had shown an alternative Fulgrim, I looked up some pics of that... Want. So. Much. (More.) I think I'll save up for that instead! (And for Russ and Magnus, whenever those two may be released...)

Fair enough!

For a second there I thought he was thinking Siggy had a go at the Primarch of the White Scars!

The Glaive superheavy is back!

The Glaive Super-heavy Special Weapons Tank is a variant of the Fellblade. Armed with a Volkite Carronade, it is designed to destroy xenos beasts and incinerate enemy light vehicles at a single sweep.

While the Glaive has been issued to all eighteen Legiones Astartes in limited quantities, the Salamanders and Dark Angels have long been noted to field Glaives as a matter of course; the XVIIIth Legion’s artifice is more than sufficient to maintain and replicate the arcane Volkite technology, while the provenance and honour of the Ist Legion means that their war matériel and weaponry are ancient indeed.

The Legion Glaive, designed by Stuart Williamson, is a multi-part resin and plastic kit that is packed with detail. It is available to pre-order now for despatch from Friday 28th June and experimental rules to field this powerful super-heavy as part of a Space Marine Legion army are available to download here.

That thing is awesome!

If only I could trust FW to send me a Super Heavy that wasn't warped, bent and generally misshapen to the point of Ultimate Frustration...

I must admit, even though I'm not collecting a HH force, that thing is really tempting...

Get them when they're new. I got me a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT when it was released and it was perfect just a few resin gate cleanups needed...

Now, I wonder what the Falchion will look like...

Hi there,

In this week’s newsletter, we have details of the much-anticipated release of the Legion Glaive that is now available to pre-order. Also, for those of you attending US Games Day, we have a reminder of the final reservation dates if you want to pre-order Forge World products to pick up on the day.

Event News
Games Day North America

A quick reminder, Saturday 27th July is the date for this year’s North American Games Day at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis. We are now taking reservation orders for this event. Although we’ll have a wide range of our resin models and books available, placing a reservation order is the best way to ensure that we’ll have the exact product you want, packed up and waiting for you at the show.

To place an order you can either telephone us on 011 44 115 900 4995, or send an e-mail entitled ‘Games Day US 2013 Reservation’ to forgeworld@gwplc.com. We will need your name, a list of the items that you wish to order and your e-mail address by Thursday 11th July. In the week prior to the event, we will send you a confirmation e-mail containing your order number, details of any items that are unavailable, and a total cost in US$ (less local sales tax) that will be payable at the event.

Enter the Citadel
The Forge World Sales Team will be attending Warhammer 40K: Enter the Citadel, held at Warhammer World in Nottingham on Saturday 13th July. We will be offering a range of our books and resin models, more details to follow nearer the time! This is a ticket only event and more details are available here.

If I recall correctly, it's an instantaneous "Soul Blaze" like effect. All Volkite weapons have that.

Actually I've found it, and it's much nastier than that (being S8 Ap2) it inflicts a number of extra hits equal to the wounds caused. Ouch!

Anyone else think the Glaive will be inducted into the AdMech list as well as the Legion list?

Not sure what the AdMech will get, but I'm not opposed to the new super heavies making their way onto their list(s).

Deflagrate is on pg 233 of the betrayal book and for every unsaved wound of the initial shot you can try to wound again with them, the deflagrate ability does not apply to the secondary shots so still plenty of cover or invulnerable saves required when battling this beast.
