Harakoni Warhawks have different gear from Elysians. They're supplied by different Forge Worlds.
Harakon is actually (in galactic terms) pretty close to Elysia, so they may well be supplied by the same forge world, especially seeing as there are not that many forge worlds, and Accatran also supplies equipment that is particularly suited to drop troops. There are also no models for Harakoni Warhawks, and only the one image in the previous IG codex, as far as I know, so we don't really know how they are equipped (except they also have grav chutes, and use carapace armour).
EDIT: just realised that Harakon is in the next segmentum, so they might use a different equipment set just because of that.

Well, it's never been stated where Harakon actually is in any piece of fluff. But their gear is completely different from the Elysians. The biggest example is that they use cut-down las-carbines, not the Accatran-pattern lasguns.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Yes. I posted pics of the concept art for Elysians in carapace long ago, from the 2008 Gamesday US IIRC. It would be nice to see something come of them.
Those 4 were mine, taken off a rather crappy camera phone that I had at the time.
Honestly, neither do the pics above from GW. I agree that they're not very Elysian looking but the mantic ones are easily available with a decent amount of bits and customizability (especially once the new ones from deadzone come out next year).

yeah,
For those interested in checking them out I've bought the two 40kFW Realm of battle tiles and I'm in the process of painting them up.
Imperial strong point complete.

Just use the models you have with the current rules. Before any games with strangers, just tell them that "GW changed the rules on IG Sergeants, the feth wits, so the sergeants with stripes have a sword and pea-shooter" and you're good. If you get to play friendlies with anyone reasonable, they might even let you keep your lasgun(!) I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Those products line got canned, that's why. It's a clearance sale.

But now I'm wondering why they changed the legion icon?
Each Legion/Chapter traditionally has a few logos and icons which are official.

TBH I think most people wouldn't even be aware of that rule change.. certainly I wouldn't! And it's not something that most people would have a problem with in any case (being on the list of 'game breakers', it probably ranks quite lowly.. )

Official alternates I'd agree. But the Luna Wolves symbol has been pretty constant for a long time, was really hoping they'd have gotten the logo I have always associated with them on their decal sheet SOMEWHERE, sucks really.

I think Fulgrim looks great, although I'm not a fan of the face. I like the pose, its 'out-there', but you can definitely see the inspiration from Fulgrim (novel). I think he'll look great alongside Ferrus. Did they say he'd be able to wield Forgebreaker too?

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. Fulgrim The Illuminator: Primarch of the Emperor's Children
The mercurial and prideful Fulgrim was the Primarch of the Emperor's Children Legion. Fulgrim strove to be a paragon in all things - generalship, martial skill, governance, reason and endeavour, and passed on his values to his Legion where they became enshrined as a remorseless dedication to perfection in war. Such all-consuming ambition came at the price of vainglory and hubris for the Emperor's Children and their master, and they became swiftly ensnared in the Warmaster's conspiracy.
The latest of our Horus Heresy Character Series, designed by Simon Egan, Fulgrim is an amazingly detailed multi-part resin model armed with the Blade of the Laer and Firebrand, a master-crafted Volkite charger. The model stands atop a scenic base depicting the carnage on Isstvan V.
Rules and background for the Primarch Fulgrim and his Legion can be found in The Horus Heresy Book I: Betrayal. You can find out how Simon Egan approached this iconic project in the video below, or click here if scrapcode interference blocks the pict-feed:
Fulgrim is available to pre-order now and will be despatched from Friday June 28th.

I greatly prefer the alternative version of Fulgrim they had at their recent event. I'll pass on this one and wait for that one.

While I like the alternative model as well I am a huge fan of this as well. I'll be picking him up so he can sit in a bag next to my Angron. At some point when I get enough of them I'll have them commission painted because I want all of them to be display models.

I kinda like the design of Fulgrim. It's really "majestic" in the sense that it fits Fulgrim's flamboyant style. Simon Egan did say the moment he finished Fulgrim, he had to work on Ferrus Manus though, and that he fitted into the Fulgrim display base.
