Brilliant repair on the 'troll' think, it works much better this way. I definitely need to tap into that AOS box...

I actually quite like both heads, but prefer the newer, just. The old one looks quite alarmed at what he's doing, and makes the hand position look a little startled, whereas the visor on the newer one makes him look purposeful.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I been tinkering with some admech models and painting some imperial assault.
I'll probobly be picking up the calth box soon with the intent of blending in some pre-heresy world eaters for some 30k games (my plan is a general mix of pre-heresy and zomg-chaos. Warp time be crazy!)

Finished all the heroes from my imperial assault! The models are pretty mushy, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. It was nice to paint unique one-off models, instead of massive squads of things for a change.


Also some test stormtroopers (red ones are elite squad), trandoshans, and royal guards.

Nice. The Star Wars stuff looks brilliant.

I keep.seeing those minis on Dakka and the more I see them the more I like them. Very dangerous.

Small update while I work my way through the rest of the Imp-Ass box.
Started assembling/converting some of the B@C models, and having a blast. I've never really had a body of actual marines, so this is pretty entertaining.
I wan't to use this for 30k as well as 40k, so my plan is to have all these line grunts using the 30k world eaters scheme (maybe more bone coloured than white), while the officers, champions, and other higher up gribblies get progressively more and more chaotic and red/black/gold. Sort of paint a picture of corruption from the top down.

Also, regular sized marines make my champions/berserkers look like BEASTS!


Also some more bestial claw terminators, who will likely be Red Butcher standins.


And my angry eyebrow contemptor, who's positivly dwarfed by my other contemptor because I didn't know the scale of them

I am so excited that you are continuing to update! The contemptor additions look great! Took a very static and vanilla model (IMO) and made it very Khorne!

Change the boots of the Berzerker to make him look more marine like!

Done pretty much all my Imperials from Imperial Assault! Only models left are the two tiger things, two trandoshans, two elite-red stormtroopers, and Luke!





The AT-ST was my first try at using oil washes, and aside from some sponge chipping, that's -literately- all I did to it (after basecoat of grey and a stylish decal). I think she turned out alright.

Lord of Skulls torso, Imperial Knight legs, Maulerfiend arms with Heldrake hands, Vengeance Battery Cannons, then a fair ammount of greenstuff and some magnets. Bits sites are a godsend, because it didnt really cost that much more than a boxed knight.

@Begel DverlMade, the royal guard helmets is just VMA gloss varnish applied with a brush.

Frankensteining together a stalk-tank soul grinder, because thanks to the new Forge Host formation, I have an excuse to make more evil stompy bug robots.
