@Dujek

And those are some of the main reasons I'm considering it. Not specifically the civilians but the multitude of individual sculpts.

They hit 500k

Congratulations on another stretch goal!

Recon and Myth level backers get 4 Infected Minis. These minis can be used in both games regardless of buying into the add-on pack. The Infected are a very cool addition to both Recon and Myth. They offer more variety and complications above and beyond a simple opponent to kill.

MERCS

Infected in Recon are experiments that have gone bad. They are considered to be Employees. If they are killed, civilian penalties apply. However, Infected do not try to leave the building like other Employees. They seek out and attack other OpFor and MERCS.

With the Blood Contagion Mission Pack, the Infected have a chance to turn other OpFor into Infected as well. Infected OpFor are replaced with special Infect OpFor cards, and are marked with a token. Infected OpFor have altered priorities and do different things. The mini-campaign in Blood Contagion revolves around the MERCS going deep into a lab, finding the cure, not letting the Infected get out-of-hand, and saving as many Infected as possible.

Additionally, the Infected bring with them a completely new way for the MERCS to lose: if ever there are 15 Infected in the structure the MERCS have been defeated.

Myth

The Infected Minions are tough to kill. They have 3 Vitality. On a successful attack, the Infected roll a 1FD. If the Infected rolls the Darkness symbol, the Hero cannot produce treasure. Additionally, if that Hero while infected becomes adjacent to other Heroes, then the infected Hero rolls 1FD for each Hero adjacent. If the roll matches the defining attribute, then the adjacent Hero becomes infected and can no longer generate treasure either.

Without the Mission Pack, the Infected gained from the Myth level are limited to a Hunting Pack, but a formidable one.

With the Mission Pack, the Infected come with a Lair and enough numbers to create problems for the Heroes on a larger scale.

Additionally, the 500k level also unlocks the ALL-IN Mission Pack add-on. This add-on if bought, give all the Mission Packs in the additional purchases to the backer at one price. As more Mission Packs are unlocked, they are added to this automatically and this becomes an even better deal. We'll continue to update this image as Mission Packs are unlocked so backers can easily track what they are getting.

Wondering how many sculpts those infected will be in.

With that all in package, you're looking at quite a few extra workers and tiles as well, in addition to all the mercs and infected.

If they're willing to do a supplement like this, gives me hope Lockdown will be along the same lines.

Why do I still hope to see some sort of automated/ machine mission pack?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

So they release a mission pack were you get a game mode that you will loose once 15 Infected are on the board.... and provide with the pack 10...

Yes, you get 4 extra free, but? retail?

Honestly, I don't think it's been mismanaged at all. It was merely under-managed for a week because the entire team was at Adepticon & then PaxEast. Soda Pop had less of a problem because Deke wasn't at Adepticon. Thats a big deal, and a big difference.

I think the "deal" is there for this now, and I think the game is really unique. If you've got the $120, I think it's worth it.

I really think the only 'misstep' they have with this campaign is the "sweet spot cost;" I think it would have been better served had it been at an even $100. But that's a small qualm.

A bit confused, so, what does the free pack come with? 4 zombies and cards (but no rules sheet) for both games?

If them been absent 3/4ths of the campaign, with erratic and often irrelevant comments, releasing critical information asked from day 1 the last days of the kickstarter and the unexplainable illogical gaps in the stretch goals, are not signs of mismanagement, I am not sure what is.

I've asked for clarification on what it was since they announced it.

Don't thank me, I won't get an answer from them. They only seem to answer certain folks, and then only when they want to.

So i got curious exactly how many unique sculpts you get with the basic $120 package. This assumes they won't clear 500k and unlock even more!

Counter Threat
mercs x10
secfor II x5 pose 1
secfor III x5 pose 1

Assassination Protocol
mercs x10
secfor II x5 pose 2
secfor III x5 pose 3

Stretches
dog
Bonus secfor I x6 - 2 poses
medic + demo
spy + booster
workers x4 - 2 poses
cpp 1
gcc agent
heavy + monkeywrench
monkeywrench + demo
vip / scientist / tech
salsa + peso
shadow edict - mercs x5, employees x2 (presumed unique)
myth hunter crossover
fcc saboteur
analyst / consultant / engineer
infected x4 - 1 pose?

That adds up to about 57 unique sculpts, 25 of which are mercs. Pretty fantastic when you look at it that way.

How good is the 'myth quality' plastic they use?

All the figures except the MERCs are going to be in that type of plastic (including all the cameo figs and special characters).

Over $513k now,.... more than $47k today

Today has now surpassed the pledge total for day 2 to be the second best day of the campaign.

41 hours to go,..... who else is getting on the train?

I haven't handled any myself but there's a gallery at boardgamegeek.

many more pics over in the MYTH thread on dakka. Near the end people who received the game posted some pictures.

Are you sure it will be the same? My Myth mini's are relatively soft, I would say medium quality.

Like a good board game mini vice one of my tabletop games.

I have a bit of experience across many different game systems,.... I'd call the MYTH figures very dense good quality plastic,..... somewhere between the GW and PP plastics.

They are dense and firm,... but soft enough to accept minor deflection without snapping while returning to their original position,.... fairly easy to work with with both blade and file,.... pretty darn good for a "board game" (i put that in quotes, because I think most of us get that these types of games aren't really board games in the traditional sense,... and that the minis should be judged in a different realm,... easy enough to say that they are better than other board game minis,..... but that does not give you the info that you're after)

I think they are good hobby quality. They are not the best of the best,..... but they can't be beat for the price/quality.

The myth quality plastic is pretty decent.

A lot less flash than my Mantic stuff, that's for sure.

Figures hold details well. They don't feel super fragile.

Not too many broken pieces upon opening my game (one loose hand).

I think that the heroes in MYTH may be either of a different plastic than the others,.... they are a different color for sure,.... they do seem softer,... but they also have much thinner parts than almost all of the minions,.. so it could just be that???

I think the monsters might be a little better quality plastic overall than the humanoid figures. The critters are right around Super Dungeon Explore.

That is what the FAQ on the project's main page says...

Thanks to all above for the info on 'Myth' plastic. I had no point of reference to know if it was good/bad/whatever.

Yep, it's the same stuff Mantic, PP, SW, many board games use. Okay, not awesome.

BTW, heh, re: questions on their KS. Re-phrased, thanks for trying...

Past 525k

Update #46 Apr 16 2014
L.E.D.

Now we're talking.

These cards add a bit of mission-to-mission augmentation to the base games. These cards are gained by interacting with non-objective based locations. Before this deck, the location bonuses are temporary and matter only to the mission at hand. However, with the LED these bonuses can be carried over to other missions, both one-offs and the mini-campaigns, providing even more reason to stray from the mission objective and investigate other rooms.

The number of cards will be based upon the number of locations revealed through the base games and mission packs. At this point, there are 18 cards in this deck.

They've had 46 updates, most of which have significant amounts of text.

They have more gameplay videos than both concurrently running KS projects in backing combined.

They've been pretty good about answering questions.

I think the stretch goals have been pretty clear; which are you having trouble with?

I'll be doing agent level, and if it goes over 600k seriously considering the 6 expansion for the price of 4.

I think the All In add on is driving their sales right now. I wanted all of the add on packs but couldn't justify it. Now I feel like I'm getting a deal even though I don't know how much I care about the infected add on. I'm guess there are a lot of people who wanted one or two add on pack and especially the infected pack, and they all just decided to commit the whole $100.

I'm really hoping they get to 600k for the extra pack and the minis, but I care a lot more about getting all those snipers.

Any KS-analysts have predictions for the closing pledge amount given the last few hours?

The kick traq tends don't account for any "typical" last day pledging. That isn't really helpful.

I had to drop my pledge simply because of where this falls in my pay schedule. Wondering if a $1 pledge would let me up it to the $120 level during the pledge manager?

I guess I should probably better just do the $10 one

Looking at the KS comments section, sounds like the snipers won't have player boards for use in Recon.
