My twins are boy (zack), and girl (Lilly), they now look to be two years different in age as Lilly can still fit size 4t clothes and they are both eight years old. You line the three of my kids up next to each other and everyone believes they are each two years apart. Lilly has always been tiny since birth, but is feisty. I remember fondly when they were two they were playing in the family room and zack wrestled Lilly to the floor n laid on top of her as she tried to get up. She kept squirming n didn't surrender, zack feeling good about himself got up and began walking away. Lilly tackled him from behind, took him down and laid on top of him while he cried. I laughed my but off.

LOL i know that feeling to the letter...the two radcals did just that a week ago in the backyard fighting under my supervision and i kept making suggestions ofr little oskar how to best his older brother... well... in the end he stole the shoes of his older brother... man... i was such a proud dad

i think it is twofolds... first it shows how capable of definding themselves they are... second... you get a small part of revenge of all the night hours wasted for changing bedwear and stuff... and for having the slurry all over yourself kinda like cosmic revenge

they love to do that with me too! we have that stunt where they climb up my knees and then stand upright and "walk" on my shoulders... it is really quite the circus show^^

the thing is with kids... most of them even cash out more than they actually have...thus sometimes they are able to just fall asleep all of a sudden as then the energy level is suddenly so low...only sleep is an option... really ... they have extra amounts of ...well...negative energy...

dunno tho if it would work with puppies... but you would be at least on safer ground

as a not kids related note... i worked on my entry for gitspitta´s comp... i am making a mantis warrior... found all the bitz i want to use... now it is assembly time^^

This is a task that without the "blog View" buton I could not undertake

5/10 pages of It at the time and is already full of awesomesauce, starting with the paper tanks and arriving at the amazing rivetto squad on page 20sh (blog view of course )

I think I can manage to get at this point in the next 10/15 years, but I have nothing to do outside work, so I think I can do It

Keep building stuff, but slower please

P.S. Nice use of the Ogre fist weapons there

from time to time i draw someone new into this antlions pit of a thread
welcome selvaggio! many thanks for the high praise... the recent months have been a bit slow on progress so you may quicken your pace through the thread once you reach the newer stuff^^ or maybe not
soon i have summer holidays from school and i intend to use them wiseley^^

Theophony wrote:I really like the fist spikes (cesti?). Glad your in the competition, now we just need Dave to make a MW getting his but handed to him by some imperial guard

regardless their name... i thought i needed to use these for the build as the concept of the MW screams archaic bloddy wristed knuckle fighter to me ... no fancy weaponry needed when a piece of sharpened metal suffices to disembowel a creepy heretic^^... (which will follow soon!) also i doubt that dave would do a matis warrior...but getting his but kicked by an awesome catachan...hmmm.... i think we should give dave a nudge^^

"Hugs for the Hugs god!"

LOL...it currently look as if he wants to give one terminal bear hug, eh?

well... i promised in gitsplitta´s thread to show the parts i used... and a bit how to...

well here goes:

these are the ogre fist weapons...(i really don´t know the name for them...) i got rid of the big spikes on the wrist guard... and then cut out the ogre fist... what a bloddy work, mind you... then i realized that i only needed a small part of the wrist guard and got rid of most of it...as you saw already in the model...

then i used these big tyranide plates i still have, together with some ornamental decoration from some elves i got in a bitzbox (how i love random bitz boxes!!!! conversion paradise!) together with some bigger "rivets" this creates my version of the mantis warrior shouldpad icon...

and these nid guns... i can´t recall atm their name provided the spikes for the mandibles on the beaky marine helmet...

and this is the base...
the motto will be..."preying mantis..." get it

plan is to make it look like some avatar movie terrain...cross your fingers for me^^

cheers, vik

we went to an artshop yesterday... basically it is a shroom? i think?... dried up pplant stuff they had there in one section... lots of more good usable stuff...
i am thinking pink... glowy pink on the ´shroom heads...
i think that will look even more wicked^^...(gosh...i love that word^^)

also...the whole base is covered first with a thick cork piece...then i built from the cork a rock... after that i placed the shroom bitz...then everything got covered in thick PVA...and then i liberally aplied huge amounts of superglue... this created that uneven surface... there was once a thread about that methode...
