That can't be right can it? That seems insanely cheap for how big that box is.

Thats actually par for kits this size and detail from a major plastics manufacturer
.

My 1/35 scale Tamiya Mi-24 Hind is about as detailed as this kit and about the same size and price.

Personally, I think if GW was offering this model it would probably come in at around $150-180... Oh, and it would probably not be engineered nearly as well.
It is a beautiful model, and as a lover of assembly of models, I have to say is going to be a joy to put together! I say buy it up!

Well if we compare it to a warhound Titan, it's nearest companion in GW's range, a complete unit would cost more like $500 and it'd be resin...

If they do make a plastic Warhound for the rumored Apocalypse 6th ed, they'll give us a huge price break and only charge $300 (until next year's price increases).

I'd put the chance of us getting a plastic Warhound Titan at about 20% (very cautiously optimistic). But It would have to cost less than $300 to sell. Probably around $250. But would it come with weapons, you think? For around $200 or so I'd probably buy one provided it came with two weapons. I think the Mortis is a better model and clearly better engineered (though I don't think you could do the moving parts with resin) and a much better deal, but I like that the Warhoud is built more solid and I'm not a fan of the empty stomach of the Mortis.

Even if they did offer a plastic warhound, I wouldn't even buy one. For one, I did make on in plasticard (and it looks fine, honestly) and this leviathan is miles ahead in terms of moulding and assembly. Not to mention price.

DeChevalier: let Mark send us all our goodies first. You can have yours afterwards.

May have found an alternate mech for a good curb stomp. killkrazy posted the link in another thread. if i was good at posting pics id put the model here. anyhow heres the link. http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?product=grymn-walker~hfg450&category=miniatures~grymn-air-support

Might be good for one of the household factions until mark gets there with designs.

The way things are going with this one and timetable delays, I reckon it'll realistically be the end of this year before we see Stage 3. And no, this isn't Aussie fulfilment bitching. I'm being quite serious.

If they haven't yet contacted Mark for stage 2.. well, it's March now. If you see what I mean. Still, it's a much better solution to complete the KS1 before starting on KS2....

This is worth amplifying: just look at Tre Manor's most recent campaign, it seemed the poor fellow was constantly dogged by the issue of not having fulfilled his first campaign.

Necros had the same problem with Blackwater Gulch, people kept bringing it up all the time.

No we haven't. This is the last update:

Item Number Origin Destination Delivery Status Event Date
XXX Hong Kong Australia The item left Hong Kong for its destination on 1-Mar-2013 18-Feb-2013

Gak happens. Looking forward to arrival though, and some more news on the rest of the KS. Pretty sure Mark won't let this happen again, and wasn't his fault to begin with.

Slow progress continues. My Leviathan stands tall, about to receive its head/cockpit compartment. The backplate is merely awaiting installation of magnets, as are the stacks. Limb armor plating is awaiting painting of the underlying structure before it is installed. But, incomplete, it still looks mean and ready to ruin the days of a great many enemy troopers.

Does any one want the Executioner sword bits and the smoke stack sprues? I'm not using them for my Levis and I'd be more then happy to trade with a fellow dakkanaut.

To clarify, the original sword bits, not the Excalibur upgrade.

Not a chance. Like I said earlier. Mark implied they were sent via surface mail. They went out from HK 12 days ago now. That means another 4-6 weeks from now before arrival. I'll probably haves bought and received some phase one stuff from Wayland or Discount Games Store before my KS stuff lands.

Ugh, that sucks. You guys are being very understanding and deserve a medal for this alone.

Maybe a token of appreciation during Wave 2? Get on it, Mark!

Maybe ask Mark if he has some miscasts from the resin ones. Wargames Factory sells a very limited amount of bitz, nothing like what you'd need.

@nosegoblin
Any word from china on wave 2? I know I'd rather have bad news at this point instead of no news. What's the new timeframe looking like?

Also any chance to add on orders to wave three?

Finally, at a point where I'll paint it, and the arm/leg/shoulder plates separately to be glued in place after paint. I'll do the best job with this I can, but plans for the next one are to make it look fairly deep into a campaign with minor damage, dents, and dings...that one I'm going to really put time into. This one I want to get looking good, but I also want it done.

Well well well, that is a good month sooner than Azazelx's prediction, I think.

We haven't heard from Mark in a while. Someone ought to get him an iPad so he can log on while his machine churns away at renders.

Interesting. 3 weeks physical transit time implies Air freight, not Sea.

After all that angst . Very, very good news!

But I am already pining for my Wave 3 vehicles, although I know they're a ways off . I think I need the excitement of them to motivate me to power through working on all the infantry, though.

Speaking of which, if anyone has a single heavy weapon to spare for sale/trade (of any type) along with the 3 crew, please PM me

I didn't get an email telling me that...sad face

Edit: Hell going back through it mine got shipped on the 14th of February apparently. Double sad face

Double edit: But using the initial email and tracking number, I'm apparently at the same stage, it has arrived and is being processed. Phew.
