I wonder how much money this Kickstarter will end up making?

A lot depends on the pledge levels and what they offer, of course.

And if RH does have concept art, and more importantly, sculpts to show off in scale shots?

I'm guessing the answer is going to be: A lot.

The Iron Empire and the Shock Troops have no bare middriffs except for the not sexy priestess, no cleavage and pants aren't almost falling off too. Boob armor is (unfortunatly) there, yes but I can't see awkward poseing. Mostly the Jailbirds are in that "skin"-range category.. 1 of 3 factions, I think that is a damn good ratio and I think It's not bad to have one faction with more punk.

Regard the whole sclae discussion: The sisters are big and the legs long but there are also the heels and hats, that make them that high.

I ask only that one question be answered: will this be a single run for the kickstarter only or will these be available after tr kickstarter on their website? I would like to invest in this KS but if I can't get more after to fill out an army then what's the point?

I remember reading somewhere that they planned on doing also a Dark Eldar type army as well as a "Female Paladin" (Sisters of battle) type army. Are the Kurganova the Female Paladin army? Yes they are armored but they do not exactly scream "Heavy armored" to me.

I guess what I am asking is are there going to be more kickstarters in the future?

There are going to be more KSes to follow for the Dark Elves and the Paladins, the Kruganova Shock Troopers are not the female paladins. The female paladin army is probably going to destroy my free time and discretionary spending for a good bit when they do come out.

@Daniel_Holmes all factions and models will be available through Raging Heroes after the KS finishes up. Rules are shortly to follow as well. This is the launch pad for round one of RH's own game and armies, a permanent large expansion to their available (and awesome) model line.

I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn

OK folks!

I think many of you have seen all the blog posts concerning Raging Heroes minis,

Having painted a fair amount of them, I have gotten very familiar with the style and the production value.

That is a very crucial element to someone who paints miniatures 12-19 hours a day... every day. Not having to deal with crazy mould lines, primer resistant resin, and so on are just a few of the handy elements to Raging Heroes figures. I will be posting several pictures here of what I have done so far.

Here are some Sci fi Blood Vestals, including Asharaa:

And a sci fi Blood Vestal (you can see that these were part of my Adepticon tournament army!):

These figures have incredible detail. The faces have as much detail as you might see on a 54 mm figure and beyond, which makes it much easier to paint!

The scale on these is fine. I will be showing other sets as time goes by, and these will include some scale comparisons with GW 40k figs, and so on. There are many articles about RH figures on the blog. You can see me 'unboxing' some, as well as assembling them.

I don't have to outrun the Demon Prince, I just have to outrun you.

Good is a relative term. Im a 30 yr old married father of 2. I personally think these concepts are great. I can understand your dislike of the over the top design but considering the inspiration
Raging Heroes wrote:Imagine a bunch of punk-ass big-mouth bad girls, kind of like a mix between Aliens' Vasquez, Tank Girl, and Planet Terror's Cherry Darling, and you get an army of psyched Rambo girls – we like to call them "the Rambettes" - that you would not want to approach if you care for your life.
would you really expect then NOT to turn out this way?

I am not saying you are wrong. You dislike them and that is your entitled opinion. However they set out to make Punk-ass big-mouth bad girls, and judging from concepts they have designed models that fit that bill. If they had drawn inspiration from Lt. Mira of the SpaceMarine video game (flakk jacket, no boob cups, full uniform) or Diz and other infantry girls from Starship Troopers (standard issue armor that hides the fact that they are female) then yes I would agree that they missed the mark entirely.

Yeah I admit I'm not a huge fan of the Rambettes like I said earlier, I mean they have a very nice visual style, but it's the 'Nam look all over again. Not my bag, but some folks like that, I think the Kruganova have a more realistic female scifi badass look going on and I'm good with that.

I think you're being confused.

I didn't say that ALL of the concept art was bad, even listed two that I liked in particular.

Here's one of the new Kurganovas that I just painted :

These figures were fantastic to work with. The mould lines minimal, and easy to deal with. All the detail very well resolved.

I for one am stoked. The Jailbirds seem like a decent fill-in for anywhere I might otherwise use Catachans, and they seem about similarly armed and armored. The Kurganova shock troops seem pretty sweet too, although I'm not usually a huge fan of the gas-mask look. Sure, they're all over the top, but if you're buying them to sub in for 40k models, then they'll fit right in. (Because it isn't like any of the other armies in 40k are subtle or anything... )

I've been really impressed with the detail in Raging Heroes minis so far, and I've been watching this with some real interest. This is probably going to be the first Kickstarter I'll have ever donated to.

I'm continually impressed by Raging Heroes minis, and while the idea of fielding an army of them excites me, the thought of painting that many to the standard the minis deserve frightens me.

I'd like to combine the Kurganova's/Iron Empire with some Eisenkern, and the Jailbirds with... something. End result would be lovely mixed armies of loyalists and rebels fighting it out. This would possibly involve the use of some Statuesque miniatures as partisans, and some Antenociti miniatures as mercenaries if the aesthetic somehow all came together.

The combinations of RH with Eisenkern is my plan as well. I've seen them both in comparison to SM, and both seem to have the height, but not mass that is usual of GW. I think they shall look quite beautiful together.

with all the disparate rumors and ideas RH has floated I'm a bit confused tho, they hinted at a Sisters style army, is that the Kurganova or Iron empire faction, or another planned KS altogether?

Depending on price point, they may end up as my Sisters army.

I'm waiting for your cheque on the licensing for that idea. I've been hoarding all of those minis for a while, just waiting for the shock troops to complete the picture.

Wait, hold up... I was stoked for these minis... then I realized theyre just minis... will there be a ruleset...? Preferably skirmish based with lots of Tarantino-esque action?

Rule set is under development now per the RH website.

None of these are not the SoB style army. Those will come out after the Dark Elves type army gets it's KS.

A little tidbit prekickstarter starting

we will have a great digital coffee table book included in the pledges, lavishly designed, that will include all the TGG concept art, many unreleased sketches, stories and background, embedded videos of concept art drawing and 3D sculpting, and more...

Yep they also plan on having rules too

Inquisitor Wappellious those are some great paintjobs. Don't happen to any of the Empire style minis painted up by any chance as would love to see what you did with them!
