Any tumor for eldar appoca you it?

I was not aware Eldar could have tumors, being an advanced alien race and all.

My youngest GW case is over a decade with several reaching back another 5-6 years. I have 10 or so of them from when I worked for GW and before that. NOT ONE has broken. That's thru over a dozen moves across a couple of states and several years in a non-controlled environment storage unit. GW cases are fine.

On another note, holy hell, new 40k fortifications!!!!!!

Double quad-guns or double icarus for one fort will be huge.

Double Punishers for Sisters of Battle will be ridiculous.

Those can definitely make flyers a little less useful.

Flying Croissants will be filled with swiss cheese.

I have a GW case I got in an army sale, and the darn thing is near perfect and everything is from 2002 at the latest (the guy I bought the army off of started and stopped playing in 3rd edition, and gave me the "3.5" chaos codex when I bought it off of him).

That Vengeance thing-a-ma-jig will go nicely with my Krieg. I was hankering for some better anti-air than just a hydra, and Krieg and Bunkers go together like chocolate and peanut butter.

Though when they say normal rules for 40k with the Aquila thing, I'm assuming they don't mean using the vortex missiles in normal games.

If so, I'll get one just to kill imhotek every single time.

i do have a small GW case with a broken clasp, out of the 4 i own...
my big case is still in perfect condition, even after years of dragging it around the world, despite the best efforts of the fine baggage handlers who treat luggage like it's a Dwarf tossing contest...

Just going to throw it out there: IF you look at the new Apocalypse Blast Template, there are actually a series of rings inside it. To me it appears that these rings translate to 5", 7", and 10" (with the template itself being 15") meaning that the 15" template doesn't replace the 10", its just a new option.

So far the only rumors for Xenos are the Necron models, and the one click bundles that may or may not be discounted.

My left nut for confirmation of or pictures of the new fortification rules.

Oh sorry. No, there have not been any news of any cool Eldar things.

I suspect there may be though in the coming months.

I'm sure there's a Knights of the Wraithtable formation for Apoc that involves 5+ Wraithknights.

Does anyone have a feel for the size of the case compared to the current GW army cases?

Well, you don't have to buy them. Making a plasticard circle of 10" or 15" isn't difficult.

I can use the templates in my old BRBs to make more. It irks me that they aren't in the new BRB >.<

The issue I have is that we had 3 perfectly acceptable templates previously. Just like the 3 basic templates that didn't change since 3rd edition...these should not have changed either. It's just a cash grab. Nothing more. A change for change's sake. Which is DUMB. It's a waste of time and resources.

Well, to be fair only one of the templates changed. The Hellfire template is still the same size from what I can tell, and the previous templates are still valid, you're just adding a new one on top of it (15"). The only real change is the multiple blast/barrage one, which IMO, I'm glad changed because the previous one was clumsy and kind of uninspired.

Not to mention hard to use.

I think the new "daisy chain" template is neat, and I like it. But I wish they'd just made it in the same neon green as the old ones, repackaged them all together, and also had them available separately.

I really look foward to getting a Tesseract Vault. I hope it we be able to be built to transform between modes without too much work. The motor idea I saw ealier woulf be awesome. Imagine your opponent's face when you set down an obelisk and hit a button revealing that its actually a vault containing a deadly C'tan!

I like the daisy chain one, now.

The Khorne mower is STILL dumb as hell.

The Necron Tesseract vault is still kick ass!

I'm used to them being towards the back, like in 4th ed. They really should have put the psi powers section before the summary.
