One thing FW does not do is step on GW's toes. They won't release anything that might impede GW's sales so I don't expect to see any Apoc type releases for a month or so. Even then, expect to see variations on existing themes tied to Heresy rather than anything new.

Yeah, nah, it's not happening today. Next week maybe.

Actually, FW releases tend to boost Apoc sales and vice versa. If FW released say a Necron superheavy or Daemon engine, that may step on toes, but there is plenty of stuff FW could release that would boost the Apoc release- more titan weapons for the reaver (please?), Additional arm and head options for the Stompa, Things like that.

Turret options for Baneblade-chassis Superheavies just like how they do Chimera turrets, Chimera variants, and Leman Russ Turrets (as well as like, Hammerhead Turrets and such). It will DEFINITELY boost GW sales.

Actually, GW has pretty much all the Baneblade/shadowsword turret options covered in the (now combined) plastic kit, besides the Stormsword with the plasma cannon.

Two, actually. The Stormblade as you mentioned is one, the Stormsword is another. The Baneblade box can build a Hellhammer, and the Shadowsword box can build a Stormlord. We don't know what the new box can build.

Well, it is the baneblade box with the Shadowsword turret sprues added and a price bump, so it can build a Baneblade, Hellhammer, Stormlord, Shadowsword, Stormsword (without flamer sponson options) Banehammer, Banesword, and Doomhammer.

The current models from GW and FW cover a number of the (scaled down) Titan weapon options on a baneblade hull pattern- Turbolaser/Volcano cannon (called the latter, but rules-wise no better than the former), Vulcan Megabolter, Plasma Blastgun, Quake Cannon (downscaled), melta cannon (scaled down to the Magnacannon) and Gatling Blaster (traded far less shots for a larger blast and bump in strength on the Baneblade cannon).
That leaves the Inferno Blastgun (which would look cool), Apoc Missile Launcher, and Vortex Missile (available on the Deathstrike Missile Launcher)
FW should do the former two- the Inferno blastgun on a Stormlord hull would be awesome looking with a big fuel tank where the troop bay is, and An Apoc missile launcher could be mounted Manticore style in the Stormlord troop bay area, and replace the forward gun with a targeting array.

Personally, I'm waiting for a kit that allows me to build a Hammerhammer. I'd settle for a Swordsword or a Banebane, though...

The thing that destroyed the ROB tile was called a Psychic Choir formation chosen by the Dark Angels, this was led by Ezekiel and consisted of 5 other psykers, it gave them the ability to unleash a Force Vortex which they did against the Lord Of Skulls and it eventually killed it but a turn or 2 later they say the Force Vortex they had created buried its way underground and would cause a Seismic Cataclysm on the next turn, this was then rolled for from a table so there will be a few results available and he got a Total Collapse result which meant a random board tile was simply removed from play, wouldn't suprise me if a few weapons or formations would be able to cause such a thing to the battlefield.

So...After what happened to Caliban, they're just going to go around completely annihilating other planets too then?

I do like that the Total Collapse seems to remove a random tile, and not a targeted tile selected by the player that caused it. Such potentially powerful effects should carry some risk to use.

If the super heavy vehicles have hull points I'm hoping they have a way to damage reduce like the LR Achilles has. Otherwise Titans are going to be garbage if they can be one shotted by a meltagun.

Im guessing that the damage table will be similar to the way it is now where if you get a 6 you get to keep rolling. Well have to wait and see, but I agree, I hope they are very durable.

They've probably moved superheavies to hull points to simplify things, but will still have some rule to prevent one-shotting. Probably something simple like a special super-heavy damage table, with a modifier if the vehicle has more than X HP left.

Remember that Titans still have void shields, so they're definitely not getting one-shotted.
