So I'm gonna put my prediction/hopes here for future reference:

Repacks:
$35 - 10 Pink Horrors with 32mm bases (ugh) and/or 10 Brimstone horrors (not fully committed to this, but its a nice idea)
$35 - 10 Blues & 10 Brims
$35 - 6 Screamers
$25 - 6 Flamers

I'm going to disagree with your Pink Horror prediction. Brimstones with the Pinks make no sense without Blues. I would say 20 Pinks in a box, but I would be more confident in that if the price was $40. We'll find out in two days who's right (or closest ).

I actually agree about Pinks and Brims not sharing a box, but 20 Pinks in a box for only $35 is just a bit too hard to believe.
I wholeheartedly believe the Pink will stay at 10 per box, but will just get 32mm bases (which I hate for such weak models)

But as I said before, if they introduce some real campagin rules, and include stats for pretty much every models n the range (a la original WQ) this will be an instant buy from me, even if there's no new models. But unfortunately, I don't think it will be the case

I wouldn't be so bold. It's been pointed out with the high collared individual in the background obscured by the logo might be the main nemesis. It's a similar position to the gaunt summoner in the ST cover art.

As for the new prices, well . So much for the new and improved GW if those are price hikes. This is a bad sign if they are price hikes. That means we can probably expect a normalizing (aka across the board price hikes) of all products in the future. I hope it means instead there are more models per box, but I'm not holding my breath.

Might be true. I tought it was only a statue or something like that, but it might be the main nemesis

If this is a price increase, why would GW put the breaks on for all the good stuff they did last year and this year? Just look at Dakka Discussions about the "has GW gotten better". This will put a screeching hault to GW getting better.

Time will tell. This weekend we will find out if this is the case or not. Why cry and complain even before we know the full facts?

Even if it is a price hike with no redeeming qualities, I somehow doubt a $6 increase on a single is going to turn everybody against the company.

Personally I think it's going to be updated with something but who knows.

I agree, but its almost as hard to believe that they're jacking up the price after all the price cuts they've done with their reboxings. Have we had an AoS reboxing where the per model price went up?

It's not about price. It's about image. It's like, GW turned the boat around and not heading toward the cliff, let's resort to old practices that got us to the cliff in the first place. GW is trying to shed it's image of old. Why change now? Why go back to the old way? It just doesn't make sense.

Not sure if any AoS repacks have ever gone up in price, I only play 40K.

In either case, I won't be getting any Pinks. I'll be getting a couple boxes of Blues and paint a few of them Pink. I have never liked the size of the Pinks.
I mean why is a T3 model about as big as a Space marine?

I am also going to split a few of the Brims to be 1 per base (with some extra flames) and paint them like pink and blue fire, like they are trying to imitate their big brothers.....and so I can get more models out of the box.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

I'm fairly certain Screamers and Flamers will go 6 to a box, similar to how some of the 3-to-a-box Khorne stuff did.

The Pink Horror thing is a worry. Looking at the sprues there are 5 on one sprue, and then 5 on the other sprue, which also has the icon/instrument. They could be throwing in another of the 'generic' 5 model sprue to make it a box of 15.

Also consider that the Burning Chariot hasn't changed.

I had this thought at first as well, but then I realized that both sprues are molded as one (look at the 2 break points on the outside of each sprue). So I do not think this will be the case for Pinks

Well GWs costs may well have gone up (brexit is hitting manufacturers especially) so price increases are certainly not out of the question,

new GW has a lower minimum margin than they used to under Kirby, but they'll still have a desired minimum

True, but then that is double dipping. If they only increased the GBP cost it would make sense. Here they are increasing the foreign costs so they get the improved exchange rate plus the price hike. Not liking it :(

To be clear not a single thing that's been reboxed for AoS has increased. ALL have stayed the same or decreased on a per model basis (i.e. more models for a discount over the old same number of models). It's why I'm hoping we're getting a model increase. Also it makes sense to make daemons relatively cheaper because they can be a bridge army between both games.

Fingers crossed for 6 screamers and 6 flamers for the price bump (Both are reasonable for the actual model count). Not sure what they would do for the pinks though.

Hmm. The plastic kit for Araloth (aka the Nomad Prince) seems to have gone out of production and is no longer available in either the US or UK.

Expect the price per model to go down. I don't know about the other boxes but I know that the blue horrors' box will also come with ten brimstone horrors. All for 25 euros. It's not the whole batch but to me it's an indicative at the very least.

Probably to be repackaged for a rebasing and possible launch of the "Wanderers" range, if I had to guess. He's one of the models that would be easy to rebase as he doesn't have an integrated base.

I'm still predicting Aelves will be the next major AoS release even before Duardin. I'm going to count this as evidence of that and predict this will be the Leader model in an upcoming Aelf SC box.

Nomad Prince has a faction. It's Wanderers.

I don't think Wanderers are going to get a Start Collecting set, if I'm going to be honest.

Repackaged wood elves, do you think? Or anything new? (I'm still, after all this time, waiting for reasonable updates of HE archers. And non-fishy spearmen.)

Pretty sure the prices quoted on there are the Canadian prices as they list English and French WD editions.

We're about that much in price difference from USD.

Starting "anew" - 5000pts - oldskool models
Slowly but surely - almost 2500pts?
Small but taking their vitamins - 2500ish?
daemons roar - 3000ish ?

It's someone giving the North American list, hence why it has CAD+USD.

Blue Scribes are sold out. They're resin but are mentioned with the Changeling in the new stuff.

I expect P'tarix and Xirap't are coming in plastic.

Edit: I am just speculating.

Blue Scribes already have a plastic model. It's called the Burning Chariot kit
Just assemble the disc with all the books and put 2 of the Blues on it. Done

You want to give one a quill and make some extra books and scrolls. Mine looks better for it.

That could have been why the Burning Chariot went 'Sold Out' before the other Tzeentchian plastics. Maybe a minor recut of the sprues specifically for that reason? We'll see soon.

No. It's just going to be an reboxing. Plastic moulding doesn't lend itself to minor recuts.

I doubt they would recut the sprue for such a small thing. However, including 3 bases, one Oval for the chariot, 32mm for the Herald and another 32 or 40mm for a lone Disc, plus an updated version of the instructions including a way to assemble the Scribes could be feasible.

A change Tzeentch approves!

Love the DoT BT, the fluff blurb about everyone in a crowd looking on as some Stormcast attempt to arrest a suspected heretic is neat. I guess the SC will be taking up guard roles in the cities. I can see the Tempest Lords naturally taking political and policing roles but chambers like the Celestial Vindicators, I can't see them taking much interest in hanging around cities.

I also found a particular piece of artwork interesting, where the fire wizard is dueling with the tzeentch wizard. The fire mage looks very dwarfish in the face but it's interesting to see the Freeguild soldier at the bottom in the normal Empire garb. I thought GW would want to avoid showing humans until they know what aesthetic to go for, that is if they are changing it at all. Perhaps they are and keeping the old look as well. Who knows, thought it was interesting to see anyway.

A kit I would love to see is Realm kits. Just a box of bits and basing stuff dedicated to each realm. Beast pelts and skulls for Ghur. Torches, lava bases and water canisters for Aqshy. Leaves, branches, wooden staves etc for Ghyran, just something to help people customise their army to a particular realm, without having to release Freeguild kits for each realm, not that wouldn't be awesome of course.
