Hey all. I am currently at Nottingham for the Horus Heresy Weekender and will be blogging live all weekend with photos and news.
I just was introduced to Alan Bligh and John French and had a great little chat about the Heresy with them. So much fun to chat with the guys who write this stuff. They are both big 40K players and really passionate about the fluff.

I've got a question for them. The HH:Betrayal book and the IA:Aeronautica book are both recent AND have the Dreadclaw Drop Pod. However, the removed the old Dreadclaw from the FW website. Are they retooling the old mold, making a new one (without the chaos iconography), or what?  Thanks for posting pictures and blogging. Have fun, drink some beers, and take pictures and notes, lucky so-and-so! I'll check your blog out on Sunday evening.

Don't forget to ask, if there will be non-Space Marine releases by Forge World and Warhammer Forge in the next 5 years 
Seems all Fantasy sculptors were recruited to sculpt SM shoulder pads and make their Fantasy projects at home in their free time ... and the Fantasy book being on hold despite promises to the contrary. 
BTW badgermeister over at Warseer posted these giant photos of HH banners displayed in the hotel (7 of 20 banners photographed, spoilered because of size)

Ok all, here are photos from Opening Day at the Horus Heresy Weekender.
The Legion posters were one of a kind BTW. My apologies to those of you who showed interest in the posters. But I had so many requests and honestly, I think it is only fair that the people who paid their way here got first crack at them. If there are any left at the end of the day I will pick them up for you all.

Wow he looks pretty cool.. and glad that they tried to do something different to the Kabuki Fulgrim by going for the all-action pose.
Base looks awesome as well, much better than the effort with Angron.
I won't ask how much he costs however!
