Family now refers to this store as the "Buck and a Quarter Store" and it is really weird that there are 3 of them within a 3 mile radius of my house

I found six of them two days ago, and the biggest complaint is the tire size. Suitably Orky, though, so I am fine with it. The coolest part is that you can assemble it with the tires and the flat chassis bottom which gives you the ability to customize it any way you want. My brother is already planning the build.

Using giant apes! Titano (from Heroclix)

Titano Primes (in white / grey) can be had cheap from TrollandToad for $5.39. They have the black versions for $8.

You can find better giant ape figures, but it's hard to find one at a better price, and you'll never find another one that comes with interchangeable heads, one with laser beam eyes.

King Kong with laser eyes for a hair over $5! How can you beat that?

There are a lot of good Heroclix figures out there for cheap. Only some are expensive and sought after.

You know what's sad? It looks at least as good as the zombie dragon GW offers.

I don't know how someone can honestly think that they look just as good as each other? There's a massive difference in detail and quality.

I think you may have fallen into the trap of seeing joking hyperbole and accidentally taking it literally.

No need for such seriousness on this thread.

No, no, they have a point. The GW one has nowhere near that level of detail and articulation.

1) You cannot win. 2) You cannot break even. 3) You cannot stop playing the game.

I was trying to be kind to the GW kit.
This thing is actually better when you account for the price. You can spend a couple of $s & get this poor/goofy looking thing, OR.... You can spend alot of $s & still wind up with a poor/goofy looking thing.
Plus this one comes assembled & looks like it has some degree of articulation!

No, I do not like the GW Zombie dragon.
