The trench table is looking great, so far. Looking forward to seeing it finished with the bunkers and more trench pieces.

Grabbed a box of Eldar guardians to work on as a side project. test model:

Biel Tan is probably my favorite of the craftworlds. Went with a sort of neutral/cold urban base that would hopefully work not only with guardians but across all of the colorful aspect warriors as well. I've been toying around with the idea of doing a 1k army, I think a full 2k points is too much of a workload for me right now though.

Did the same scheme on my Eldar from Blackstone fortress. A striking scheme, excecuted nicely.

Very nice and clean. Are you using Apothecary White on them?

Thanks, for the white I used a grey seer basecoat, apothecary white all over then layer grey seer, highlight with AKI white grey, edge highlight with AP matte white. The end result is actually a tad darker than the photos suggest, more like a light grey with white highlights.

Yes, that makes sense as contrast white is really an optical illusion.
I'd like to try your way on some stormtroopers I'm planning on getting.
Thank you.

Liking the blue on the frostgrave, and that left frostgrave dwarf just gives me amusing "me old fishing hat" kinda vibes. Looking great!

The reveal of the upcoming Horus Heresy boxed set inspired me to try out the Heresy era Salamanders color scheme. I think I like it, but in certain lighting the vulkan green paint color can look borderline too dark.

Seems to have come out there well enough, loving the fire freehand, and the bronze contrast against the black pad!

Some random stuff i've painted lately, a couple of range troopers for Star Wars Legion. And a test model for Votann Urani Surtr Regulates.

My Trench Crusade Kickstarter stuff has yet to arrive. It's taking a bit longer than backers were initially lead to believe. Should get all of it in a month or two....maybe.

Finished a 3d printed bunker for Trench Crusade:

Full squad of Range Troopers:

Couple more Votann that I touched up, having trouble deciding which color scheme I like more. The Ymyr Conglomerate color scheme is kind of opulent and striking, and the URSR is more rugged and military looking.

Thanks!

Don't think I've posted this yet, a T-34 for Bolt Action that I finished a couple years ago. I might get the Konflikt 47 ZP turret and make it usable for the new edition of that game. I've wanted to collect that game for years and now that they are going to make unique plastic kits I figure it's a good time to get into it.

Really great updates Thargrim. Really like your Votann! I don't see many in the URSR scheme.
