At any rate between the contents photo and the listed contents, I don't know how you can be in any doubt as to what you're getting with either of those. Just tying yourself up trying to match the sprue pictures up with everything else
That's a very good spot. It does look like there would have to be a variation of the frame with slingers in place of the javelinmen, but the listing does indicate that it's four of the same sprue. This one does seem like a genuine mistake somewhere.

Honestly I built two reasonably-sized forces from about half that box and just chucked the rest on eBay when they announced Waterloo. The supplementary units were too expensive for my taste in ACW, they've learnt from that by launching the subsequent ranges with more plastic
thankfully they discontinued those metal ACW sets and released new plastic sprues of cavalry, zouaves, and skirmishers for ACW. now it's considerably easier/cheaper to have a wide variety of units.

Spoiler:
This sprue answers all of my questions.
That Spure for Gallic Infantry wasnt shown on Salute.
Looks like they're prepared for Gallic Wars Setting in the future, or we get Gallo-Celtic Armies (with Chariots?) as a seperate release in the future.
In 225 BC, seven Years before the Second Punic War, the Battle of Telamon happended when Rome faced Gallic Armies in Cisalpine Gaul (Northern Italy), they had Chariots.

This would tip me over the edge to try this game/scale.
I've been wanting to dabble in something completely unrelated to GW/warhammer for a long time now. Even my mega middle earth project is full of warhammer-esque minis. Same for frostgrave, stargrave etc. Theres nothing wrong with any of my other projects but I've really wanted to do something completed detangled from anything to do with warhammer completely and getting older I'm not entirely sure how many more years I have left of painting 6mm scale (and if its not many I need them to finish of the vast array of Epic 40k I still own) so was unwilling to start a historical 6mm period at this point.
I've almost picked up each and every one of warlord games epic games so far, but I've dropped out due to not being sure if its been just been due to new shiny syndrome and not wanted to drop a lot of money on a period/new scale I'd get bored of when I have so much 6mm/28mm to do.
But if this is set up to move into doing Gallic wars then I'd be happy to start with this set and keep on spending till they give us tiny little plastic chariots.

Well said. My friend is so tired of fantasy and sci fi hammer-stuff, he just picked up Team Yankee, which I play, and wants to give this a go so long as he can pilot the elephants :-)

The only Problem is - no Gallic Chariots during the Gallic Wars.
When Caesar invaded Transalpine Gaul, Chariots had been disbanded since c. 30 to 40 Years, based on what Chieftains told him. Would expect Chariots only for the Cisalpine Gauls from Northern Italy in the Period of the Game (Roman Mid Republic) and in Metal or Resin.

I noticed the Roman Cavalry is monopose - like the Cuirassiers from P&S - and has only one Helmet Type. I hope they bring seperate Cavalry with a diversity on Helmet Types and Poses in Metal or Resin.

Apparently next issue of Wargames Illustrated (439 - July) is going to have a free sprue of minis from the set included. Although I am not sure if this extends beyond UK/EU.
