Jake: I think our priority is finding the others, or figuring out a way to stop the demons from coming to our world.

D: Our priority is survival. Secondary and tertiary objectives are finding others, and taking back our home. Finding our bearings is key to our priority.

D: If we're going to live, we need to eat and stay warm. I don't know about you guys, but my suit is snug and heated. You'll all freeze during the night, and a fire is too risky.

*She stands, and makes sure she doesn't wake up either of the other two*
*She checks the runes around the area, finding all of them clear*
*She gets to the last one, and hides behind a tree*
*Over the rune is a woman in very elegant robes, with a crown on her head, and a book floating above her shoulder*
*The rune itself is covered in a clear bubble, and the woman probes it a few times, each time making it explode, which the bubble absorbs, and once the smoke clears from inside the bubble, the rune reforms, and the ground nourishes again*
*Gandrea watches*
*The woman continues probing the rune, until after another twelve explosions, she successfully erases the rune without an explosion*
*The woman nods in satisfaction, and the floating book turns a page*
*Gandrea steps out from behind the tree with her hands on fire, and the woman returns the gesture by pointing a wand at Gandrea*
Woman: Planter of the runes?..
Gandrea: ...
*Ganny grins*
Woman: I'll take that as a yes.

*Rachel crosses her arms, and keeps glaring at Yuki.*

I have spent time without resources or supplies on planets that kill normal people for being out of them for longer than thirty minutes. I can hunt wildlife. I can survive on my own. Speaking for Jake, he is a kickass cowboy who has literally gone through hell and back, I don't think a little bit of cold will keep him or his spirit down, none the less kill him. *Gharn finishes making a pretty solid looking little structure and looks over at Jake and Denny*
Gharn: Even if you don't need it, do you want a hut?
*He gestures the small building he's made. It's 8 feet in diameter, 4 feet tall and shaped like a dome. It's solidly built and well insulated with the basic structure made from tree branches and packed on mud*


*Mergoux nods once then starts looking around. I forgot if the demons did anything special to the bodies of their victims but if she finds any in the streets she drags them into the nearest building*

*Gandrea tilts her head more, as Carrie nods*
Carrie: I know, you're going to do some crazy wacko stuff, I've seen glimpses of it.
*Her book flips a few pages, then she nods*
Carrie: Works four out of nineteen times. Good luck.
*She smiles, then looks at Gandrea*
Carrie: Your demon friend might be worrying about you. You sure you want to go with the cranky old demon?

*Maiev swallows again, then gets onto one knee in front of Kara*

*Merg starts turning ruins and stuff into makeshift funeral pyres, unwilling to leave innocents to rot in the open*


*Ra comes back with a fairly crude sphere of glass he made by using fire to melt sand on the beach of the river he found*
*The sphere is a good 3 feet big and full to the brim with water*
*Ra pauses awkwardly and sets the sphere down then backs out*

*Carrie almost laughs at Detheroc*

*Wade doesn't even try to dodge the blade as he brings up his pistol to shoot at the psycho again*

*She then leaps at the badass energy sword held high.*

*The BP's axe gets stuck in Wade and it bashes him around. It tries to cover its face with its tiny arm with little success*

*The BP fighting Zoey pulls out another axe and does an upwards swing at her*

*Wade keeps shooting at the psycho, even after being shanked and batted around*
DP: Buddy, I can do this after getting steamrolled. Your axe ain't gak.

*Gandrea is quick, and she goes back to camp and generally nudges Elise awake, and probably Daveth as well*

*She yawns and covers her mouth while waiting for an answer, and all she gets is a hug from Gandrea*

*Gandrea gives Elise a knowing look, as she smiles, perhaps sincerely, who knows, then stands up straight*
*Elise kinda understands, and pulls away from Daveth's arms to stand up as well*

*Gandrea smiles at the amounts of questions, and shakes her head at all of them*

*Thoth sighs and sees the Demons then stands up to fight, then pauses as he thinks of something*

*Attempts to drain the lifeforce of the demons that approach. The drain works nearly instantly and has a range of about 10 feet or 3 meters and can work about 10 or so demons at a time*

*The demon's lifeforce gets drained, but there's other skeletons without life that go on, getting faster as they start charging with their weapons high*
*There's also some skelly sorcerers that raise the dead and fire magic missiles at the group*

*Thoth frowns and throws up a shield that blocks his own powerdrain*
*Cracks of glowing power are around his eyes from the excess of power taken from the demons*
*The shield isn't a great one as it was hastily made but can hold for about a minute while Thoth thinks*
*He clicks his beak thoughtfully then gets a idea*
*He reaches one hand through the shield and clicks his fingers and a large number of spectral dogs fade in to existence*

*Dogs being dogs like bones as Thoth hastily starts working on a stronger shield*

*Dogs are immune to physical weapons but the magic can hurt them*

*Marla and Maria take Calluna and protect her as needed*
*Marilania backs slightly behind them*

*Maria tries to keep Calluna calm while thoeth does his thing*

Ooc I was trying to join and catch up after being ill for 3-4 days and finally felt back up to posting actually.

*The cracks begin to recede as she uses his power to summon even more helhounds to attack both skellies and demons*

*The others are awake, Dria trying to calm a wailing baby while Cal makes defensive runes in the dirt to try and strengthen Thoth's bubbleshield and Morgan uses the last of the ammo from his gun*

Gharn: As I said, we could start a fire in the wigwam. Cramped but warm. The main issue I think would be smoke. All we have to burn is wood.

*Wade gets roasted by the flames, revealing patches of his cancer ridden body beneath his suit*
*bones are probably visible for a time, if the flame was hot enough, but the muscle and tissue begin to regenerate shortly after*

*Detheroc nods at Gandrea, then grabs her, and pulls her away from the portal.*
Detheroc: You.. did well.. now.. bow.. life depends... on it..
*He seems to have trouble speaking, almost as if it is painful to speak.*
*Detheroc then grabs Gandrea's shoulder, and forces her into a bowing position. He follows suit.*

*Anetheron bows to the gate.*

*The demon gate crackles to life after Gandrea's final rune is laid, the first thing to pour from the gate are felhounds which surround both Carrie, and Gandrea.*
*Finally a huge lumbering centaur creature, with a double sided swords manages to fit through the portal, as he exits booming laughter fills the air.*
Mannoroth: AT LAST I LIVE AGAIN!
*He looks at the two dreadlords, and the two humans.*
Mannoroth: Well done dreadlords... now are these two humans gifts? I shall feast on their souls then-!
Detheroc: My lord! *Gestures to Gandrea.* This one... is a servant of the legion, and we may need her for more Gates.
Mannoroth: You dare interrupt me!
*Mannoroth stomps up to Detheroc, inspects him for a moment, before grabbing him by the throat, and hoisting him up. He sniffs him, then frowns at what he smells.*
Mannoroth: You... are tainted... smelling of human...
*Detheroc is about to say something, but is thrown into the ground hard. As he tries to get up, Mannoroth slams one of his giant hoofed feet on Detheroc's back.*
*Mannoroth then looks over at Gandrea, and watches her with his burning eyes.*
*Then they hear the voice in the sky.*
*Mannoroth laughs.*

I: Well right now, it seems like your former home is now the base of operations for the demons. So I do not know where we should go. Perhaps to look for your friends.
*He then pauses at Mannoroth's arrival, and grits his teeth*
I: It seems like we have a new enemy... One that I know how to kill for certain, at least.

*kneels back down, facing the exit of the cave, and puts a finger on the side of his helmet before sending out a comm message to see if anyone responds*

*Mannoroth presses his weight down on Detheroc, before stomping over to Carrie.*

*He looms over Carrie, and snorts.*

*Mannoroth laughs at this new development.*

*He smiles at Carrie, and bites on her head.*
*Anetheron charges Carrie as well, and tries to rack her side with fel fire.*

*Felhounds circling Gandrea keep doing so, the ones who were circling Carrie start attacking her.*

*Detheroc rises to his knees, but appears to be having a mental war with David.*

*She grabs a dark blue chain gun that she has done green drawings all over. It's a lightning chain gun*

*she waves everyone else to come in*

*Gandrea eventually swallows her fear again, and flames the felhounds back so she can get to David/Detheroc*
*She tries pulling him away from the fight, cause it dangerous*

*Carrie roars in pain at being teamed up on, and whips her massive tail around and slashes at Mannoroth's face with her claws to push his head away*
C: I am trying to save this world, you fools! And the only way I can do that is if I work with you!

*Wade looks around the MG's house with a stupid grin*
DP: Does the studio have the funding for us to use these ones?

*Kara looks around as they walk*
K: We're just three. If your camp was razed by them on the offensive, what can we do to their capital?

*Merg frowns*

*Gharn walks after the others, slowly warming up via movement*

*Felhouds roar, and jump away from the flames.*
*They bark at Gandrea, and try to lash at her.*

*Detheroc groans, at being touched, but agrees with being lead away.*
*Still a mind war going on so they don't help against the felhounds.*

*Mannoroth grins a toothy grin, and backs away from Carrie.*
*Anetheron follows suit, but stands ready to strike again.*
Mannoroth: You wish to help us take this world? Why?
*He slams his sword into the ground, and spreads his wings.*
Mannoroth: You're afraid of them aren't you?

*Jake leads the group towards Merg and Nero.*

*Eddie walks up to Merg and Nero first cause he was scouting ahead.*

*She walks into the Mini guns home, and looks at all the guns.*

*She sees Denny, Jake and Gharn and recognizes them. She nods to them and Gharn nods back*
Merg: So you're alive then. Good. Anyone else with you?

*Gandrea gets lashed a few times, and winces through her teeth, but keeps trying to push Detheroc/David away from everyone else*
*She occasionally flames the felhounds from over her shoulder, but the fire is weak and inaccurate*

*Carrie slumps to the ground, as she drools a bit of blood*
Carrie: I am not afraid of them... Or you. I just need your help to destroy them.
*She then stands back up, and slams her tail down onto the felhounds that are chasing Gandrea*
Carrie: Revenge for their brethren biting my shins.

*Denny sighs at Merg and Nero*
D: Yes, we have an entire army hiding in the trees. What do you think genius?

*Illidan sighs, then looks towards a certain direction*
I: We get help.
*Starts moving towards somewhere in the forest*

N: Saves us some trouble.
*low key sizes up the new group, and while is isn't worried about any of them, he is curious about some of their stuff, like Denny's armor and Eddie's scar on his face*

*Kara nods and keeps following after Illidan*
K: Do you know where anyone is? I left Gandrea, Elise, and Daveth to find you, Kadan.

*Merg glares*
Mergoux: For all I know you could be a advance party. You haven't run into anyone else from the room?

*Detheroc glares at Gandrea.*

*He winces, and groans in pain.*

*Gandrea casts a look behind her at Mannoroth, and tries pushing David to go faster*
*She is scared and hurt by the felhounds, but she pushes on*

*Carrie nods, and goes back into her human form, then vomits up a fair bit of blood*

*Illidan shakes his head*
I: None of your friends... But I know where some of my demon hunters are. There are two that still live.
*He heads in a direction*

D: I dunno.

*Detheroc looks at Gandrea with a mixture of hate, and worry.*
Detheroc: You little bitch... they will find us-
*He grits his teeth in pain.*
David: Just leave me... You're hurt, please Gandrea just leave me..

Mannoroth: We will need some more forces, and I believe I know how to strike the enemy down..
*He stomps towards the demon gate, and grins.*

*Merg and Gharn keep walking along. Gharn seems slightly intrigued by Merg's ears and tats and by Nero's glove/gauntlet*

N: What happened to you? Assuming you're human, then I don't see why that wound didn't kill you.

*Gandrea shakes her head, and keeps helping David/Detheroc along*
*She's trying to go back towards Elise, cause Daveth can help, and Elise can provide moral support*

*He then goes back to trying to catch up to his Illidari, who are fleeing a kinda big horde of demons*

Cathy: Naw I don't got any nukes. Bombs aren't my thing. Tiny Tina is the one to talk to if you want bombs.

*She gets up goes to the fridge and pulls out a tub of yogurt*

*Detheroc/David keep following Gandrea.*

Mannoroth: Yes, that is true... But their leader resides in the main citadel, and that is where we will go.
*He grins at Carrie, and spreads his wings.*
