Hanna: I... I don't know... You're 100% sure these people aren't going to try and do more tests on me?

*She looks back at Wade with a slight amount of fear in her eyes*

*Wade nods*
DP: The assassins might wanna ask you some questions, but they're not gonna try anything. They're more focused on killing demons or getting off to some guy on a golden chair. So, chin up, and relax. Definitely gonna beat the last place we were at.

*Hanna nods slowly*

Hanna: O-ok... What do I do if they ask a questions I don't want to talk about ?

*Her eye fades back to its normal green colour*

*Wade shrugs*
DP: Either tell 'em to take it up with me, or just tell 'em you don't wanna talk about it. The merc with a mouth has a lot to say.

DP: You'll be fine. They were polite to someone that literally blew up an entire encampment of people that were her friends. You've got nothing to worry about.

*Dria smiles and stands up n her crutches to wave cheerily, trying to be friendly*

*He turns the icy projectile around and unfreezes it, aiming back at Thoth*

*Whatever energy Thoth drained starts burning him from the inside, and starts multiplying*
*Smart Thoth for trying to life-drain literal devils*

*Thoth's shield gets frozen and cracks apart*

*Mephisto gets a bit torn up, and falls back cause he doesn't want to die just yet*

*Duriel becomes a pincushion, but he's fiiiine*
*He still goes for Nero*

*Azmobitch gets pincushioned as well, and he loses a eye to it, but other than that he just gets more pissed*

*Nero's Devil Bringer charges up at being grabbed and Nero stabs at Diablo's arm with Red Queen, which directs all the energy into the stab*

*notices Duriel coming at him and activates his Devil Trigger (making the demon dude appear above him and all that)*

*Lusacan is too focused on Jason and roars as Maiev stabs him in the head*
*whips his head around wildly to try and knock her off, and breathes Fade energy everywhere, which start to make the cave walls crack*
*Kara runs forwards at Lusacan, and her staff's tip glows brightly*

*Wade follows after Hanna and crashes on a chair for the night*

*Assassins leave Hanna and Wade alone for now, but they know she a ghoul, and they do not like that.*
*Also they know that she is part ghoul (like Leo) considering the one red eye, so George is 45 percent sure that Hanna is either a offspring of Leo, or some horrible experiment to cover Leo's tracks.*
*Overall he'll let Jason handle it, and smiles at the thought of Jason getting a hold of Deadpool's biomass.*

*Diablo's fire is p epic, so even with the Devil Bringer in Devil Trigger mode, Nero gets charred up and slumps backwards, with his Devil Bringer flickering*

*Lusacan is getting pretty fethed up, and raises his head to smash Maiev into the ceiling of the cave*
*Kara starts chucking fire at his underside as he exposes it, but is starting to run out of mana after everything she's had to do*

*Diablo laughs a few times, and drops Nero after pulling out Nero's sword from his arm*
D: Is this it, Baal? I thought you said they would be challenging enough to give us something to do!
*Baal simply laughs, and waves his hand*
Baal: Perhaps I was wrong. We still have work to do, dispose of them, Duriel, Azmodan.

*Baal totally knows Duriel is gonna get fethed up, but he lets it happen while Diablo, himself and Mephisto escape with Belial for reasons*

*Maiev literally gets caught between a rock and a hard-place, and fares about as well as one would expect*
*She ain't gonna be stabbing Lusacan for a little bit, cause she's just about fethed up*

*Nero's Devil Trigger is trying to heal the damage Nero took, and Nero manages to catch Duriel's talon with his Devil Bringer, but it takes all the strength he has, which shows how fethed up he is cause he can casually block ~20 foot long swords while joking when he's fine*
N: Shouldn't have... lost Yamato.
*reaches for Red Queen with his free hand, but it's probably too far for him to grab*

*Lusacan shakes his head again, and uses his talons to try and sweep Maiev off of him*
*Kara growls at seeing Maiev hurt and charges forwards while attempting to life drain Lusacan*
*basically is getting swoll off of Fade energy, but it's corrupting her at a feth huge rate*

*Iris sits in the main room, having apparently been unable to find someone in charge so she can get a room, a bath and perhaps some clothes.
*She smiles friendly-like at pretty much anyone and says hi*


*My bad on misunderstanding the burning and stuff.*
*Thoth shoots some more spikes but his power is beginning to get used up*
*He stops shooting spikes and tries 2 more blasts of cold, aimed at the most pincushioned demons, then begins to summon a Hydra to fight for him*

*Horus hammers on the tower door, trying to get in*

*Kara grunts as she tries to sit up, and starts charging up another spell*
K: It's almost over.

*Jason's manages to avoid most of the attack, but Lusacan manages to tear off his Bio gun.*
*He swoops around, still firing needles, and rakes the dragons side with his newly formed bone saber.*

*One of his tentacles smashes another cylinder, and the bio mass is instantly consumed.*

*At the same time, Lusacan starts to burn up (kinda like skyrim dragons) and a black essence travels from him into Kara*

*Hanna flinches when Wade says "Good morning", not knowing he was there*

Hanna: AH! O-oh, good morning Wade. I talked to some people yesterday! And they said they hated needles! Isn't that great!?

Mergoux (Merg) is a heavily tattooed half-elf warrior and a pretty nasty person
Morgan is elsewhere at the moment, in another room but he basically looks human. Tall, dark and muscular from working as a blacksmith

OOC: Probably won't be contributing much, but was catching up on the recent goings on and wanted to figure out what the procedure for entry was without breaking the flow too much.

*She grabs herself a cup of water and looks around the kitchen*

OOC: No worries Suspicious! You do you. If you've been reading part of the more recent stuff then you'll get a good idea how things ho on around here. RN it's kinda in the middle of a big plot, but if you want to join in sometime then generally speaking just have your character walk towards the room and either knock or just waltz right in. That's how we've done it in the past.

"There's instant coffee at the back of the cupboard on the left," a voice calls from the other room.

*Iris pours another mug*
Iris: Now be careful it's hot. You can also add some sugarcubes if it's too bitter.
*Smiles and leads Hanna over to the kitchen table when she beams at Mergoux*
Iris: Well! It's my savior! Thank you again for saving my life that one time!
*Merg blinks at Iris for a moment then realizes and nods*
Merg: Oh, yeah, sure. Iris right?
*Iris smiles and nods then reaches over and traces a finger over Merg's arm*

*Hanna quickly gets up and runs off to her room already slightly bouncy from the coffee, she locks her room door behind her and curls up on her bed*

Iris: What?! No, it's not dangerous! It's- Oh dear, wait!
*She gets up suddenly then quickly stops the blanket from falling and sighs as Hanna runs off*
Iris: Oh dear... poor girl.
*She chuckles slightly and calmly drinks her coffee*
Iris: Hm... I wonder if they have some sewing supplies... I could make some clothes out of this blanket...

"Did you check under the bed?" the voice suggests.

*Wade has just been chilling while I've been away, and watches Hanna run off*
DP: She'll be fine. Gonna have to learn this stuff sooner or later.

*Iris nods to Wade*
Iris: True, very true. So, how have you been Wade?
*Smiles at him, trying to bury any old fights and start fresh*
*She also calls out to the voice*
Iris: No, I'll look later! Thank you!

DP: Killed a robot dinosaur. Met up with a buddy. Skip ahead, and I grabbed Hanna from some feth sticks.

*She frowns worriedly and nods*
Iris: She didn't want to speak about her past. I suppose that has something to do with it?

*Wade nods*
DP: Yeah, she doesn't like to talk about it. But the dino was cool. Made a giant explosion when it does, and got this sweet shotgun afterwards. Borderlands is great.

Iris: Borderlands? I'm unfamiliar with that...
*She yawns*
Iris: Oof, this lady needs some sleep... I wish I could talk to someone about a room... Ah well.
*She smiles and nods to Wade*

*She goes off to the main room, unwraps the blanket she's wearing, lies down on the sofa and uses the blanket as a actual blanket instead of a crude dress.*

*watches Iris walk off and is a bit disappointed that he didn't see her sooner, but heads off to get some food*

*Duriel frowns at getting his attack blocked, and stabs down with his other big talon to try to get to Nero underneath*
*Nero can reach his sword, cause Diablo did a tactical throw, and purposely discarded it close to Nero*
*The frost blast is like a cold breeze to Duriel cause he literally has a mildly dumbed down version of it as an aura around him*

*Azmodan knows what he has to do, and keeps on trying to squash Emma, but is getting progressively weaker from her slashes*

*Hanna is curled up on her bed surprised that she didn't actually do anything*

*She sits up and reaches into her back pack, she pulls out two bits that go together to make a helmet/mask thing*

*Her head sinks and she sticks the bits back into her back pack*

*Nero grabs Red Queen and pushes down a throttle on it, causing him to rocket backwards away from Duriel (sliding across the floor)*
*rolls to his feet and stares up at Duriel, being in a better shape from his Devil Trigger, but he's still not at his peak*

*Only a blackened frame of Lusacan's skeleton remains, and Kara slowly gets onto her feet, her wound completely healed*

*Wade starts heading back to his and Hanna's room*

*Hanna flips a slot open on the bottom of her pack and a thick tube comes out*

*She pulls it out a little and looks at it*

*She shakes her head and puts it back into the slot*

*Iris wakes up, sits up and stretches*

*She gets up and goes to get coffee, not bothering to put on the blanket just yet*

*Thoth is starting to panic slightly from the burning*
*He sees Duriel not react to the cold and thinks for a split second, then cocks his arm back and throws a basketball sized ball of magma at Duriel*

I've been alright. We escaped the room and had to dodge a few attacks, lucky for thoeth or I doubt we of ever made it honestly.

*His pain resistance is high as feth, but the fireballs also hurt him, so he is almost dead now*

*Azmodan tries standing back up, and a mini demon portal opens up somewhat close to him, and pours out a few dozen little demons, more content to slow Emma down than anything*

*She takes a few steps towards Kara, stumbles, falls, then gets back up again*
*Although it isn't visible by her cloak, her good arm is broken in several places, and she has at least 3 ribs poking into her lungs, along with the axe wound in her side*

*Thoth tosses a few more fireballs but is now draining himself instead of using his overcharge*
*He considers draining the little demons but feels it would be a bad idea*
*He places one hand on the ground and a rune glows*
*A large section of the floor shifts and reforms then rises from the ground, like a being stepping out of water.*
*The stone golem slowly charges the demons Azmodan summoned. It's about 12 feet tall and roughly shaped, but is easily capable of killing things*
*Thoth is slumped against one wall but shoots a few final steel spikes at Azmodan's face before sliding down the wall*

*Jason's sword arm gets pulled back in a unnatural way, and bones snap.*

*her wounds spill out a black liquid instead of blood, and she suddenly turns completely black (like the silhouetted form) and disappears with a sharp crack. She then reappears several meters away, with the black liquid still dripping from her*
*Kara then tilts her head to face Maiev, and smiles*
K: Kara is dead, Shadowsong. The Herald was not strong enough to handle her master. You'll be with her soon, however.

*Wade turns back around to face Iris*
DP: Something wrong, babe?

*Iris still has one hand over her eyes*
Iris: Yes, very wrong. Please put on some clothes. Please Wade, for my own sanity.
*She peeks, her eyes widen and she gags again before covering her eyes*

DP: Well, you got Morgan, Dria, Gharn, the gunslinger boys, the Spartans, me, Hanna, those princesses, that barbarian chick, and some other people that the author can't remember right now. Out in the woods you've got Thoth, Ra I think, Horus who forgot how to use a door handle, that new guy Nero that nobody really knows yet, probably just some edgey dude, Kara and Maiev took Jason out for a date with a dragon, and Mergy who sucks at hide and seek.
*shrugs*
DP: Probably forgot some people, but you get the point.

*Iris goes to stop Wade*
Iris: What? No! I was just generally interested in who's made it he- Oh my...
*Sighs*
Iris: You're insufferable
*Rolls her eyes but smiles inspite of herself.*
Iris: Looks like you're not up to current events! Morgan is taken. I'm not going to even risk rocking that boat at all. That young lad has needed to get some stress relieved for months

*Maiev stumbles a few steps, and grinds her teeth together*
M: No... She's in there... Somewhere deep... You're not good enough to ever get rid of my Kara...
*She slips her remaining hand onto the hilt of the white dagger, and blinks right up to Kara's face, then tries plunging the dagger into her stomach*

"I'd also suggest checking under the bed for something to help with that problem," a voice injects, this time seeming to come from the kitchen counter.

*Emma "Wrrry's" triumphantly, and jumps off of Azmodan's corpse.*
*She looks around the room, spots Thoth, and charges him.*

*Kara's knees give out and she just kneels there, staring blankly ahead*

*Thoth frowns at Emma*

*Waves his hands to cast a Harry-Potter-style full body bind curse.*

*Iris sighs*
Iris: Wade that's quite enough.
*Iris sees Hanna and half stands up*
Iris: Hanna? Are you alright dear?

*Hanna goes to say something but instead of words a sizzling ball of acid falls out of her mouth*

*She coughs and splutters sending other little bits of acid onto the floor (It's strong ass stuff)*

*Her eyes open wide as she watches the acid eat away at the floor*

"Baking soda, top shelf on the left. It's basic, use it to counteract the acid" the voice quips from the counter.

*Wade looks down at the acid and snags the baking soda before dumping it on the acid*
DP: Alright Mr. Cactus Man, what's your angle? Cause every cactus I've talked to before this point was a prick. And Hanna, I'd lay off the Mexican food for now, it upsets your stomach.

*Iris's eyes go wide*
Iris: Hanna!
*She moves over to Hanna but is unsure what to do from there as Wade's already done the baking soda bit*
Iris: Hanna what happened?
*She looks at Wade*
Iris: What do you know about this? Anything?

*The potted cactus on the kitchen counter does not respond. Because it is a decorative houseplant and can't talk, obviously. That would be crazy.*

*Maiev probably gets shanked by the hand in the same moment she thrusted with the dagger*
*She also falls to her knees in front of Kara, and stares blankly at her, not that it's visible, cause helmet*
M: I did, didn't I?
*She then collapses into Kara*

*Duriel dies, and explodes in a bloody display of gore*

*The entire tower disappears underneath everyone's feet*

*Hanna looks at Iris and is slightly horrified at what just happened*

DP: I know some stuff yeah, but is it really my place to talk about it? Kinda rude, dontcha think?
*draws his pistol and aims it at the cactus*
DP: Well, if it's just a regular cactus and can't talk, then I don't see why anybody would have a problem with me shooting it.

*The cactus continues to sit there acting cactus-y. The only remotely odd thing about it is that someone appears to have placed it on top of a book entitled "The World's Best Chimichangas: Recipes and Restaurant Guide." It honestly seems like a very strange thing to put underneath a perfectly normal cactus.*

*Emma collapses, and "Wrrry's" at being paralyzed.*
*Fights the curse like a G.*

*Nero heads over to Emma and raises his Devil Bringer*
N: Should I knock her out?

*Wade notices the book, grabs the cactus and tosses it aside before snagging the book*
DP: Feth the cactus, I've got me some chimichangas.

*Thoth nods*
Thoth: Please do. Our new ally can carry her.
*Horus is walking over towards them looking angry*
Horus: Thoth! What the FETH is going on!?


*Iris nods and kneels down to eye level with Hanna and looks her in the eye*
Iris: Are you alright? What was that?

*Through what can only be described as incredible luck, the cactus ends up landing right-side-up on the kitchen floor, despite having flipped at least twice in the air. It wobbles slightly after landing, but seems no worse for wear.*

*On the inside cover of "The World's Best Chimichangas," written in small, neat script is a note. It reads, "The closer you look, the less you see." The previous owner of the book must have been pretty weird, to say the least. Must be part of why they put it under a perfectly normal cactus.*

*Nero just sighs at seeing Horus*
N: How many birds are there?
*shrugs and swings at Emma's head with the Devil Bringer, not aiming to kill her obviously*

*Hanna looks up at Iris*

Hanna: I-I don't know...

*Fear is evident in her voice*

*Emma get her head cracked, and she goes silent.*

*Jason in one fluid motion brings up his bio guns,and fire right at her head.*
*His armor quickly reforms, and wings sprout once more from his back.*

*Thoth explains the basics to Horus*
Thoth: Then the tower vanished and you showed up.

*Nero nods and finally let's his Devil Trigger end*

*Wade pockets the book and heads over to Hanna*
DP: Its just a little acid, not like that hurt anyone. Besides John Hurt, but we don't count him.

*Kara gets nailed in the back of the head with the bioplasma, and fade energy starts trying to heal the wound, but it's a losing fight*
*She twists her body around the face Jason and snarls, and with Kara's (actual Kara, not Lucy) last amount of control she forces the dagger into her side, and she slumps forwards*
K: ...I... Kadan...
*And with that, Kara's body turns into a black ash*
*the cave begins to rumble violently without Lusacan's power keeping the damaged ruins together*

*Hanna hugs Iris*

Hanna: T-thank you...

*Iris is a little surprised by the hug but returns it gently, smiling kindly*
Iris: Of course Hanna... Anything.

*Maiev's eyes started watering, then she just stops once Kara turns to ash, and is completely stunned for words*
M: K-Kara?..
*And with those words, Maiev fething loses it*
*The Avatar of Vengeance apparates behind Maiev as all of her hate and anger that she kept hidden for Kara explodes outwards violently*
*Any and all dead body turn into Aspects of Vengeance, and they all rush towards Jason*
*Maiev balls her eyes out with a piercing wail, and doesn't even give a feth the cavern is collapsing*
*The Avatar moves towards Jason with alarming speed, as there has never been an Avatar with as much rage and anger poured into it than this one*
*Some aspects block the exit of the cavern, and the rest swarm towards Jason*
*Maiev is just kneeling by the ash, and doesn't even feel herself anymore*

*Illidan feels the pure rage from miles away, and knows exactly what happened*
*He does not even dare to go near there*

*The tower was very high up, but it's all gone now*
*The entire citadel starts fading, but the entire room is rubble, with absolutely no semblance to what it was originally*

*Horus rolls his eyes and uncerimoniously tosses Thoth over his other shoulder*

*Iris keeps smiling kindly and doesn't break the hug, allowing Hanna to lean on her as much as she wants*

*Jason body shifts into worm like shape, and burrows right through the ground under him.*
*He worms his way under the cave leaving bio bombs as he does this.*
*Makes his way to the entrance, and keeps burrowing.*

*In the Fade, a robed, horned figure stands at the fork of a road. The left path is withered, and hellish screams echo from it. One particular roar rises above the rest, and for a moment the rest are silenced. The right path is the complete opposite; a golden light shines over it, and even just looking in it's direction brings a sense of ease. The home of the Maker, a promise to an eternity of contentment without struggle. But to the figure, there was only one route. Letting her hand slip to an elven dagger at her side, the figure went down the left path, preparing to finish a battle started long ago.*

*The cave starts to collapse, starting with the bottom layers where the broodmothers sat with their newly spawned Darkspawn children*
*Any Darkspawn still in the cave (which is a lot) are more focused on leaving than fighting, but they're not getting anywhere*

"Milk might help wash away the aftertaste a bit better than water," the voice chimes in, this time coming from the other room. Which is where the cactus is now, apparently. Someone must have moved it while everyone was distracted. After all, cacti don't just move on their own. The very idea would be preposterous.

*Maiev curls over the pile of ash, and continues crying*
*The Avatar of Vengeance moves over to her, kneels beside her, and completely covers her body with its bulk*
*She and the Avatar stay like that until the cavern collapses, which is when they're both buried*
*Avatar keeps all of the weight on its back, keeping Maiev and Kara's ashes relatively safe*
*Maiev doesn't even care*

*Hanna groans after finishing the cup of water*

Hanna: (I wonder what else they put in me...)

*Hanna weakly smiles at Iris*

Hanna: I-I'm alright... I think...

*Iris still looks concerned*
Iris: Are you sure? We don't need you melting any more flooring!
*She smiles slightly and puts a hand on Hanna's shoulder*
Iris: Did you know you could do that?

*Hanna shakes her head slowly*

Hanna: N-no... C-can w-we have some coffee?

*Hanna tries to cheer herself up with the idea of coffee*

*Iris smiles kindly*
Iris: Of course, go take a seat, I'll get us some
*She makes two mugs and sets one down for Hanna, then sits next to her then chats or something and get's NPC'd*

*Fiuria eventually heads back checking wade gone first*
*heads back to room and greets people before going back to carving the small wooden wolf slowly. *

Alas some are not so... helpful. I know one Elder by the name of Artemis, she despises humans, men especially. She'll kill them whenever she can, though sometimes she'll take on human women as handmaidens.
