*She turns and makes a gesture for them to follow as she moves over to the bed, lifts her bag onto it and starts pulling out books.

*Emma's a pretty good shot so her shots would be pin point, and follow Scatty around the room. Her shots wouldn't hit Dria or Marla was more the fact bolt shells explode. So they could be hurt from that.*

*She's dizzyingly fast and vicious, also snapping with her fangs or jabbing with her free hand*


*Iris hears the fighting and thinks of Hanna*
*She quickly goes to Hanna's room and knocks*

*Tries to stay calm for Hanna's sake but is also pretty freaked out*

*Horus is striding rapidly towards the fight*

*Morrigan and Cal are far South at this point but have started turning back after not finding so much as a beetle surviving the outbreak of demons*


*Morgan is sobbing in pain, Gharn is racing frantically back towards the base*

*A space marine strike cruiser arrives at the systems edge and begins the long trip towards the planet*

*Hanna stays huddled in her room with her helmet/mask on (It covers the sides and top of her head and her mouth and nose)*

*The Strike Cruiser slowly approaches the planet and begins getting into prime drop position*
*as it does so the Covenant ship starts taking shots at it, making the ship's life just a bit difficult*
*a lone shuttle is able to make it free from the gak-fest in orbit and begins zooming down towards the planet*

*Athan is roused by a knocking and the sound of a distant scuffle*

"Hmmm, have to admit it's been a while, but unless I'm mistaken, this may be useful," a voice calls out from under the bed in Scatty's room, though it is difficult to make out over the carnage.

*A hefty stick of ironwood, carved into a wicked stake, rolls out from under the bed. It comes to rest within easy reach of Dria.*

*Mergoux watches the shuttle carefully and looks at Athan*
Mergoux: You. Let's go check that out.
*She draws her large crossbow and nods to Athan*

*Athan quickly cuts to the right, knocking one agent off balance while striking out at the other. With a paradoxical elegance, the brutish warrior evades the two figures as their blows whir off his humming power armor.*

*In the distance a maelstrom of commotion beckons*

*Draws his bolter and knocks the second mysterious assailant to the floor*

The cactus is sitting on a side table in the main room near the place Marinlaia hunkering down. It normally would not attract a second glance from anyone, but someone has pinned a note on one of the cactus' spines.

The small, neat script reads, "Little girl pulled a Dracula and is busy trying to eat people. Emma is engaging with collateral damage. Get help or get in there and help. Garlic is at the back of the fridge, top shelf, if you believe that will help. Not sure of this one's rules."

It is certainly an odd place to find a mysterious message.
