Amazing stuff as always! Both wood elf variants are very nicely executed and clean looking.

What are your impressions on painting the X-wing fleet? I started playing/collecting X-wing myself recently and have tossed the idea around on painting them or getting them painted. The seem really small/difficult to paint the details though. You seem to have pulled it off really well.

I did it with oil washes to keep the details and use an airbrush so the paint that gets on is really thin to keep the details and don't overflow them.

Eldar stuff looks so fancy! I love the blue your using on those smurfs. That most recent tank is absolutely gorgeous.

and because its all painted so well I'm going to be very picky
and say on the Ultramarines dread left shoulder the edge highlight is wobbly and lets down an otherwise wonderful paint job.

Love it. All of it! Especially the colour choice on the Iyanden and the smoothness of the modulation on the flyer.

The Smurfs are some of the best I've seen too, the blue is just right. How long did it take you to edge highlight the Sicaran?

Even if I went and digested a Thesaurus I doubt I'd be able to find the words to adequately describe how much your work impresses me.

The Eldar flier and the Ultramarine Sicaran are truly jaw dropping. Not that the rest of it isn't of the usual incredible standard, but those two in particular appeal to me.

This weekend it was the Scale Model Challenge 2014.
And of course there was also a very big painting competition even bigger than last year.
What an amazing event of very skilled painters and modelers.
I had a great day and met a lot of great people.

This is all absolutely incredible work!! But can I just say, my favourite thing is the first dreadknight, especially the way you've sculpted the base around the foot to show the momentum of it! Shunt move come to life!

I dig that Elven standard bearer ... long time since I have painted some High Elfs myself

The flying cow looks superb Scar

If I might ask, how'd you get that colour on the Storm Eagle? It looks like a metallic gray-brown that I've never seen before. It's a really excellent base, and despite being what you'd think would be a dull colour, it has a lot of character and makes for great highlights and lowlights.

Sweaterkittens: Its normal vallejo air silver on a base coat of vallejo air gun metal.
But the brown finish i made with several dark and light brown oil washes.

It does, thank you! As I said, it's a very unique color, and I have a hard time describing it as it's not dark silver and not quite bronze.

That Knight looks awesome and that pose is ace...having worked with that model, how did you go about assembling it for that pose?

Its a strange question but as someone who has gone into near rage mode assembling the leg components into dynamic poses of two Knights so far, any advice is appreciated.

That Endtimes stuff is just incredible. Love the combination of blue, white and orange. Works so well against the green on the base, too. You have an eye for colour.

Really lovely work on the blood & gore also!

Nice job on the Knight, it actually looks balanced on one leg which it would have to do to be able to move. I like the weathering etc. as well, not over done except for the hydraulic ram shafts which should be clean and bright as far as they travel (or it needs some new seals?).

PanO are usually blue while the Nomads are red, seeing both colours on the PanO minis looks strange to me.

Well, that's not much of a problem since the nomads aren't red So there's no confusion regarding who's who, and I have to say I like the combination of red/blue, but then again, I'm biased since they are my models .

He bought it from the internet and it came like the first 3 pictures in a big box....
Lots of parts missing and after a full week of rebuilding and searching for parts for the model this is the end result.

, the verdigris on yours makes much more of an impression which really helps your models stand out from the others in the pic. It may be different when you have them in hand but from where I'm sitting I'd rather have the minis you painted

From what I've seen of Karol Rudyk's work its very dark and muted, his freehand is completely bonkers though.

Beautiful CD army. It's a very unique color choice, too. Not dark and sinister enough for my tastes, but the client's the boss! The display board OTOH is perfect. I love the recessed slots for all the bases. That kind of attention to detail takes a lot of prior planning, but it's totally worth it in the end.

I really like your approach on black more of a dark grey blue. The air brush work is very smooth and the red is really nice.
Only suggestion would be maybe pin washing all the hull lines with a little blacker ink-wash but they are really crisp as they stand.

For today it's these 10 terminators and a Sorcerer lord that i have finished yesterday so here are the pictures!

I absolutely love the colors. Bravo. The layout is clean and neat and the models have a lot of personality. I like it overall.

The only critique I can think of is that your Knight has some pretty obvious mold lines still visible. Specifically on the weapon barrel and the steam columns on the back. I don't see any mold lines on the other models!

And even with them... very well done.

Really like the flesh on the Alpha Legion. Usually I'm in love with your stuff but I have to say I'm not a fan of the metallic green scheme or of the melta effect on the barrels.

The patterning on the Exarch craft is very cool. I'm sure it's very simply to achieve with some masking, but I really like the end result.

They look awesome, even though I think the highlights are a bit too harsh on the infantry models.

Looking excellent Scar, the water effect you have on the bases looks very realistic.

Its clear resin with a small drop of light blue in there.
I tried many different kinds of water effects and they all shrink like crazy so resin was the best option for me and works the fastest

Liberame: Turquoise with white its almost pure white with just a small hint of blue.

Finished first 11 Dire Avengers 19 more to come and the first viper of a total of 4 so stay tuned for more!
