Thank you Mr Nobody.
The picture above shows a Sons of Remembrance marine, two Legion Insignia and the symbol of their memory weavers (thats what they call their sorcerers).
***Transmission start* Legion: Sons of Remembrance Ally: Chaos Warcry: The forgetful will be forgotten! Home World:The Daemon world of M'nemosyne Leader: Legion Lord Munin, Master of Memories Specialty: Full scale conversion, mass annhilation Status: Unknown, Thought to be at full strength Current location: Unknown
The Sons of Remembrance first appeared in early M37, causing grief through-out the galaxy for no known reason. They were defeated after they fought and disputed between them-selves. This, in its self, took several Space Marine chapters to stop. With their forces depleted, they were easily forced back into the Eye of Terror. After recently re-appearing, the Inquisition thought that they weren't a threat and sent a Space Marine strike force from one of the less important chapters to destroy them. To their horror, this as well as many other strike forces were all but annhilated. This lead to several chapters being sent to stop them. This lead to an all-out war, which the traitors won. In one of the many battles, Inquisitor Thoy Larkin reported that one of the traitors screamed out how the galaxy has forgotten the Master and his servants, and that all the forgetful will be crushed. The Sons of remembrance have seemed to place differences aside for a common cause, and with so many becoming heretical in their wake, only time will tell if this sudden out-burst can be destroyed; or even halted, for that matter... *Transmission ended***
More fluff is in the process of being made.
M.K
Edit: thank you Yggdrasil for fixing up the spellin mistakes, much appreciated.
Matt.Kingsley wrote:Heres some of the fluff I have so far :
Wow, some quite nice small starting fluff - especially the name of their homeworld (Mnemosys is my username on e-bay lol).
I'd just suggest that you could hint at Malal in that simple description... Something like "they don't seem to be following any of the four ruinous powers. Reports of their sorcerers using previously unknown psychic powers forced the Inquisition to set up a task force solely intent on researching the source of their power"... It could add to their mystery feel, IMHO...
On a side note, when are we going to see to minis?

Thanks for the ideas Yggdrasil! And the minis, I'm painting a memory weaver (sorcerer) at present. You'll see proper CSM minis in about a fortnight.
Heres where we were up to in the fluff last time.

And here's where we are now:
***Transmission Start*
Near the end of what became known as 'The 2nd Forgotten War', the Inquisition met daemons never seen before. They looked similar to lizards with wolves' heads. Not only that, but previously unknown psychic powers were used. After various meetings, it was decided that Inquisitor Thoy Larkin should be placed in charge of all further inquiries. He soon after started to follow the Sons of Remembrances' actions and searched through all the data from their previous appearance back in M37, but still didn't have any idea on how to stop them, or even what they were looking for if they were trying to find something. Larkin believes that the "Master's" name may be hidden in some ancient tome, or even locked in the minds of some Imperial and xenos warriors or leaders. After conducting more research, Larkin realised that it seemed like that they didn't follow any of the 4 ruinous powers. Not only that, but their Khorne Bezerker and Thousand Son allies seem to feel uneasy in their presence, and will use any chance possible to bring harm to the Sons of Remembrance while making it seem an accident. The lack of information about this outburst will make it hard to stop this menace, all though we can be assured that Inquisitor Larkin will provide us with more information when he gets it. Using the information we have, though, we may be able to turn the Sons of Remembrances' allies against them, and all though this is risky, it may be the only chance we have...
Bit tip. Get more lights on your minis when your taking a pic. Put it right under a desk lamp. I'm having issues myself getting good pics of my stuff. The better your pictures get, the more comments people will leave you, I'm finding.
That being said, I like the staff that the sorcerer has. Looks neat.
Thanks for the tip Wolfshadow, I'm uploading photos with better lighting now.
Also, I'm changing the name and symbol of the Memory Weavers. From now on they will be know as Secret Bearers and I'm still coming up with a symbol.
Also on a side note, using my still unpainted SMs with my CSMs in 1000 point games, I smashed SW (ahh revenge on those mangy mutts is sweet) and lost to orks. Heck, I play orks AND I LOST!!!
wolfshadow wrote:Only other thing I can think of is to highlight the edges of the plasma to make it look a bit more 'glowy'.
Ok wolfshadow, I'll try that!
Yggdrasil wrote:did you change your avatar?
Yes, I did.
also, I don't know wether any one relised, but on the previous page I stated I changed the name of the sorcerers to Secret bearers, thats what I meant by help on the icon for the secret bearers
Depends really, sometimes my camera switches from macro to auto if I get to close (I know, weird)
Those photos were good by chance! The flash (Which I don't know how to turn on/off) went off when I tried to get a photo using natural light, giving the shown results!
you can't see it easily I the 1st Photo, but I black dotted the barrels.
Is the plasma glowy enough?
Plasma is looking good. Could maybe use one more highlight, but its hard to tell from that angle.
If you can find a way to lock the flash on, that would be a good start. And find out how to turn on the Macro settings. (When in doubt, RTFM, if you dont have it, DL one online)
Not bad at all for a first try at OSL. Braver than I am.
Tip.
You have some nice big, clear pics.
Use the Default windows Image Editing program to crop them down a bit, and adjust the white balance. Super easy to do, and you'll get a nice close up image of the mini.
Also, grab a pain white peice of paper and put it behind the mini. Might help a bit.
It looks almost perfect, but it lacks a little something to finish the effect...
With my "short" experience in OSL (4-5 minis lol), I have found the light source should always be brighter than the reflected light.
So I'd say, try to highlight the coil with another step, or, if you have patience, another step for both surrounds & coil, then a last highlight on the coil only.
As for the mini itself, you should consider washing him entirely with... Say, watered down Badab Black? It'd help in smoothing the transitions between the trims & armour plates, and would make the small details (gauntlet, fingers) stand out more, with little effort...
Badab is maybe the simplest choice, but I think someone could suggest a "colour that would add depth"...
My second comment would be that the glow looks good. The next step in making it convincing would be to get some red reflected light on his chest plate and respirator.
Honestly, it's better, but I now think the paint is a bit too thick (ie. not translucent enough), mainly on the right side of the pic (towards the front of the gun).
The blending is better below and on the left: we can see the glow fading when it gets further from the coil; whereas on the right, it's just plain red, and with little transition it becomes black.
I also think you should add another lighter highlight on the coil (maybe almost-pure white?) for it to be perfect.
I'm just nitpicking uh, it looks far better than my first attempt, two years ago...
Here's a timeline showing the Sons of Remembrances' History
History Sons of Remembrance
Early M36-Dark Founding, Founding of the Sons of Remembrance
Late M36-Munin appointed Captain of the 1st Company, Home World destroyed
Early M37-The Chapters' Home fleet, including all the artificers aboard, disappear into the warp
Mid M37-The First Forgotten War begins, many losses are taken on both sides, Gene seed of the Sons of Remembrance stolen
Late M37-Huge argument takes place, many systems brought into turmoil
Early M38- Chaos Gods work together in an un-easy alliance put Malal into endless sleep. This causes the Malalian daemons helping the Sons of Remembrance to be tossed back into the warp, Chapter Master of the Sons of Remembrance is slain, Munin takes his place
Mid M38-Sons of Remembrance are defeated and escape into the warp, taking their gene seed with them.
Early M41-Sons of Remembrance re-appear, Second Forgotten War Begins
Early M42-Munin revives Malal from endless sleep, Malalian daemons return in battle, Malal plans revenge on the other Chaos Gods, Second Forgotten War ends
Thanks!
How do you think the plasma looks?
It still needs a few tweaks, but it should soon be done.
I tried to get a good glow on his armour and respirator.
Plasma marine is on hold until I fully know what i'm going to do next on the plasma its self so next up is icon bearer 1 (standed icon)
Does anyone have any ideas on a symbol for the sorcerers as I don't really like the first one I came up with and I can't think of anything else
Good idea, the only thing is though is that it is to similar to one of the the Legion symbols see? The memory weavers one is the one I want to change, speacialy since 'Memory Weavers' has been changed to 'Secret Bearers'
So all though it's a good idea, it just wont work. Please keep ideas coming though.
Also, has anyone realised why my renergade chapter is known as a legion?
here, i'll give you some hints:
1) Their artificers got lost in the warp with them
2) They stole their own gene-seed
Now is it making sense?
Still post ideas on the *NEW* symbol for the Sorcere..I mean, Secret Bearers
Seeming those rhinos look so small,, I'd say it's big, bigger than I first thought. The only thing that come to my mind now is how to build this thing, any ideas
I've figured out a symbol for the sorcerers, sort of like your idea wolfshadow! Its a book with two chains wrapped around it (vertically) and an eye.

Sounds reasonable. Might want to post it in the pruposed rules section. Should prob have some sort of TL heavy weapon (battlecannon or Laser Destructor) to represent the heavy weps up top.
wolfshadow wrote:And planning. lots and lots and LOTS of planning.
Agree. Iv'e seen very big project like this one needing at least 3-5months of planing and geting all of the materials before you even can start building them. But if you want it to look good and be worth the while you will not be disapointed with the result the time you've laid on the project will bring.
On your grey marines, try a wash of Asurmen Blue, It may give a nice tone to the model. If you did codex (or even fortress) grey as the main armour colour then a blue or purple wash would look great!

Ceramite in its nature is a ceramic based material, while bieng resistant to heat, will still have a point of vaporization, and in that the nature of melta weapons ( http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Melta_weapon ( Thank you Lexicanum ) ) is that of a focused plasma beam. So in the end what you are saying is that a Stormbird could survive a direct collision with a star.
Plus the extra D6 is only added at half range, so whatever gets within twelve inches of the vehicle fires and lets say rolls a 1 for a penetration roll, that or misses, whatever firepower you could bring to bear on it, is literally nothing compared to what you would be capable of on your next round of shooting. Seeing as a BS of 4 and a lot of units carrying a "melta" weapon are definitely more fragile and definitely more slow ( tactical marine/ Fire Dragon with Fire Pike ) compared to the flyer.
When designing a superheavy, you should compare it to other things around that price point (like titans) and then adjust the price/abilites accordingly. This one seems a bit too good for the points.
The Veverate Relic and Dark Gods' Project rules are great. Keep those!
I'd say treat meltas like normal, but no boost to rolls on the damage table for AP1 to reflect the enormous mass of the thing. My gaming group actually extends this to all superheavies, but it could be an explicit part of these rules to make the thing survivable to reflect it's mass despite being AV12 like most heavy fliers (glad you kept that AV, btw).
Alternately, leave the meltaproofing rule in (makes sense for an atmospheric entry vehicle I guess) but take the Armored Behemoth rule out. Warlord titans have no such rule, and they're comparable in scale. Some void shields would be more appropriate, as Stormbirds do actually engage in orbital combat.
Also, the transport conventions should be more in line with other transport vehicles' rules from FW etc. (not just for consistency, but because they're fairly realistic rules). Termis and jump infantry should count for 2 models. Anything on a dreadnought base (Twolves etc.) should count as 5 models. Attack bikes should be in that group of 5-count models as well. Regular bikes would be more like 3 models iirc.
Check FW transport rules. They're actually not bad.

Do you think I should add the Assault Vehicle rule to it?
As I found some of the the old rules for it which say that units that disembarked this turn can still assualt.
One generally picks a number of void shields, like 2-10. A Stormbird might have 3.
Also, you deleted the Armored Behemoth rule but kept the rules text saying 5+ Invuln- was that an oversight?
Everything else is looking pretty good!
As for the assault rule... well, it is a Marine vehicle so that makes sense. But maybe not assault launchers, as that would be overkill (and unlikely to survive atmospheric entry).
Oh, and a Stormbird should be able to carry a Baneblade (cool!) but it's got to be bigger than 50 infantry models equivalent. Maybe 75? I mean, 40 (50?) Krieg are supposed to fit -inside- a Medusa, right? so the footprint has got to be bigger than 50.
@ Savnock:
Whoops! Forgot to delete that! Then again, I forgot to change some other things too
What do you mean by assault launchers?
@ Fantasy Bob:
It is, isn't it?
I really am going to have trouble making it.
That reminds me! Does anyone think I can use the new stormraven kit to build this beasty?

Sorry if a offended you wolfshadow!
Here's more WIP on the Aspiring Champ:
A 4 way split of the champ...
...A close up of his plasma pistol, using a new technique!
Thank you! I plan to complete it (unlike the foolhardy attempt at a SM and necron army) but not just complete it, complete it well with options for spearhead, planet strike and apoc.
I like this new OSL technique (thank you Winterdyne) I'm going to re-paint the plasma on the previous mini (you can understand that, can't you?)
They're coming along nicely, but I think they could get a wash or two to :
1. help the black / grey transitions get smoother ;
2. add some depth & details on the minis.
Stupid school's gotten in the way of posting on this tread...
I'm Back!
Haven't done very much on my models, but I did have a battle against nids with the SoR.
Sorry I don't have pics, but I'll say the highlights of the battle:
1. Mawloc and 3 ravaners popping up next to my CSM squad with PF and Sorcerer and assualting them.
2. After 2-3 turns of head bashing, all 3 ravaners died and my sorcerer caused a wound on the mawloc (Woot for the ) and pased his psychic test IDing it!
3.Sorcerer getting WITHING 6 inch of his shrike and KOing it with Gift of Chaos 4. My 2nd Tac squad ALMOST beating 10 or 12 'stealers but in the end loe combat and get run down.
I have blutacced a model together, but I'll get pics of that later.
Depending on whether the "regular" CSM sprues inside are the new or the old ones, it can be either one (1) of each if new sprues, or zero (0) if the old ones (there was just a plasmagun on the old command sprues, IIRC)...
I guess you'd better buy some CSM boxes, there'll be one of each special weapon with every box!
They look good from a distance, but I think you're using a brush way too large for painting out the details...
There seems to be a lot of places where you spill a colour on the neighbouring place, which gives a sketchy impression of your nice colour choice...
What kind of brush do you use?
In any case, your models would greatly benefit from a somewhat heavy wash, that will help tie the colours & blur the connecting areas by shading them... (especially on the armour plates)
Other than this, I like the metallic parts on the plasma, they're great!
I almost never use the fine detail brush, I find it too small and the near-absence of a water/paint "tank" makes it uncomfortable to work with...
As for the washes, they are nicely used on the bone & metal parts, but you shouldn't be afraid of applying a heavy black, or devlan wash to the armour plates as they are now. As I said, it would smoothe the transitions between the various parts...
Got to agree, he looks better with the wash on.
Don't agree on brush size. It really doen't matter as long a there is a good tip. Windsor Newton Series 7 size 2 is a huge brush in my opinion, but I've seen people paint perfect pupils and retinas on 28mm models with it.
About possible ways to improve: Try to apply several thin and more diluted layers of paint. I might be wrong, but judging from the pics you seem to use the paints quite as they come, thats too thick. If you don't dilute even more, it's worth the patience.
I acually do water my paints down, but maybe not enough.
The base coat for the grey is several (about 2-4) coats of fortress grey.
the trim is 1-2 coats of adeptus battle grey.
I've just reaised that the top left (right?) doesn't have enugh wash on it.
I agree, the new pic of the paintjob looks good.
About the other pics: What is the last supposed to be? I once built my possessed csm (slaanesh) using tyranid arms, are you going for the same thing? I think the auspex and the mutation don't look that good together, maybe thats just me.
The last pic is a lord/aspiring champ mock-up that has been blu tacced together.
I agree with you about the auspex, but I don't know what else to put there (bolters too big, already has a pistol, already has a close combat weapon, I'm talking too much... )
Does anyone have any ideas on what to put there?
Thank you Arken!
I haven't had a chance lately to update or paint some models, as I've had too many assignments. But, I do have some stuff to show you!
Firstly, comparisons!
Before...
After....
Before...
After....
Thanks! I will Later on today I'm going to go to my gaing club's monthly gaming meeting. And I'm going to (hopefully) get a rematch against them bugs! (and win this time)
I had to give my aspiring champ a quick fix, too. One of mycousins got hold of him ysterday and broke his back spike in half!
Anyway, I shouldhave some time free today to paint some more minis.
Whoa!
Is that on Chaos Rising?
Dont worry about the spelling mistakes, hardly anyone can spell remembrance right! (even I've spelt it wrong once or twice!)
To make you feel better, Yarick put up a fight by taking of 1 of my sorcerer's 3 wounds, helping a lascannon kill him...
Anyway, thanks for the pics, I'll get some of my own soon, too.
First up, some average quotes (please note I've posted these on the '40k quotes that never existed' thread)
"The Forgetful shall be forgotten!"-Sons of Remembrance warcry
"Fear? You don't no true fear! True fear is being forgetten by the world around you; so much that you start to forget yourself!"-Random marine from the Sons of Remembrance
"May the wrath of my god pulverise you into oblivion and make all your folowers forget you!"-Secret Bearer of the Sons of Remembrance
and now a spoiler! (don't look if you want to be supised whenI accually make this)
Spoiler:
Challenge me you say?! You sure you want to do that? Before you make up your mind, let me tell you something. You no nothing about me! You no not of the foul tricks I learnt from the Dark Elder on Commorragh! You no not of the legion of foul things that come to my beck and call! You no not what I can do to you! I can transform you into a beast so ugly your own troops will shoot you on the spot! To finish this all of, I can tear you limb-from-limb with my bear hands! Now tell me, do you still challenge me?"-The Fellmaster, crazed transmuter of the Sons of Remembrance.
The Fellmaster is going to look something like this:
and that is all that I'll rwrite about this topic for now!
I have alot of homework/assignments to finishoff, but I'll try to paint some models to show you!
Hey there, I saw your post in my quotes thread, and your quotes sounded pretty funny...so I thought I might as well see what's all this forgetting about... now 6 pages to trawl though...darn you...
Matt.Kingsley wrote:Legion Lord Munin
wait...munin as in huginn and muninn? odin's ravens of thought and memory? Darn you! My heresy-era raven guard battle group is called muninn! http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/User:shrike see?
Munin is in no way related to either of the things you said! I got it from a naming site! I liked it, so I used it.
That quote thread as an excellent idea.
If I come up with any more quotes for the SoR, I'll post them up there.

Ha ha ha, yes I do.
Thing is though, the site said that it is Arabic, anyway I have a textbook (for school) that has a map of where the Vikings went. I'll find it and post it up here, as from my memory (there is that word again!) some if the Vikings went far into the middle east.
I'll try and get more stuff done today, I did do some work on them yesterday, but is wasn't worth showing you all

Ok two Points on the raven
1) thisbis quite a fluff point can it deep strike, from the back ground I have read it's a re-entry vehicle suggesting orbital drop so that's point one
2) because of point one do the fire points work, I certainly would not be sticking my hand out of a hatch that soon after re-entry
Both points quite fluff but just my views, apart from that all I can say is jolly good luck, you are going to need it

I edited some because I thought stormbirds were massive thunderhawks which carried a whole 1000 marines...
@ Young_Logan: I thought all flyers could deep strike anyway? And to do with your your second point, on a turn that a vehicle deepstrikes, it can't shoot (this also applies to the occupants)
@ shrike: The old rules for the stormbird stated that it ws an AV12-12-10 vehicle, I think it would be safe to keep the first two the same, but I suppose AV11 for the rear wouldn't hurt.
As for thetransport capacity, the fluff states it can take a whole company of marines, and a company is around 100 marines strong. Sticking with the fluff, all the pics of stormbirds that I've seen, incuding those that come with the fluff, don't show massive laser destructers on it. I found out recently that wolfshadow's pic ISN'T of a stormbird, just an old eic starship thing.
Wow! haven't posted here in a long while!
Anyway, last weekend my gaming club had another meeting. Used my Orks to smash some Eldar and then started a team match with chaos. The teams were:
Team 1- Chaos, Tau and Dark Eldar
Team 2- Tyranids, Orks (not mine) and Dark angles.
Unfortunately, time ran out (just after I killed the Primes, too...) The Dark Eldar retreated, the nids ran off to find another thing to eat (chaos was to tough, tau were too far away, DE escaped,) and the orks Taktikly retreated kause dey nevah loos.
Alot of fun, holidays start soon (finally!) so updates will be more frequent (hopefully)
@ Yggdrasil: thanks! @ Prototype_X: unfortunately, I haven't got the materials nor have I got a plan for it yet
Also I've got some pics! here they are: The Band of Five... ...an Aspiring Champ... ...A Powerful Sorcerer... ...A Banner Bearer so Great... ...With a Totem of Strength to make them Remember...
Also, I have a challenge/question for you! NAME THAT CHAOS SORCERER!!!
Please help me name him and, in fact, every other model up there (even the familiar!)
Wait... the team you were against in that match that you didn't finish.. You've put skulls/helmets from them on your models!
Sorcerer-Tyranid Skull
Banner Bearer- Ork Skull
Aspiring Champ (unpainted)-DA helmet!
Another good one-except for the last bit (Munin will be the master of memories)
If I get too many good names, I may make a poll!
Here are some possible titles, which ones do you like best (please post more names, though):
-herald of secrets
-the psychic might
-the final reminder
-the monster bane
-the master slayer
The last two are in honour of him killing a mawloc and shrike in one hit.
Yes, and apparently there is a tyranid shrike. Not sure if this is true, but I don't own the codex, my friend does. Can any tyranid players clear this up?
Anyway, did you see the video? And if you did would the song suit as the SoR's theme song?
His title sounds a bit too, tzentchy...
Anyway, keep them names coming!
(and give names to the others as well as comment on 'Remember the Name' being/not being a good theme song for the SoR!)
Personally, I not quite sure whether the song suits your army...
Still can't come up with a name...
But Yggs, Prototype & Blood Reaper are on the right track...
Ok, unfounately, I can't find my camera, so no updates, picture wise.
Well, the other guys may get a title...
Anyway, in case you haven't seen it yet, I posted a link up there to a possible theme song for the SoR, please check it out and post your thoughts.
Hopefully I'll find my camera and get pics for you
Now, from absulutly NO comments on the pic I posted I can either think that:
1. It is too dark for you to see much
OR
2. No one is bothered enough to post about it
I'm hoping its no. 1 as that is easily fixed...
Anyway, to make sure this post isnt just me going on and on about people not commenting on pics, time to find something else to put here
[Searches for something interesting to put here]
Hmm, I think you need to see more fluff...
So! Here's a story!
But first... a warning....
WARNING! SPOILERS MIGHT BE BEYOND THIS POINT! SYMPTOMS MAY INCLUDE: -GUILT
-EXCITEMENT
-ANTICIPATION
AND
-SORROW (IF IT ISN'T CONTIUED AND/OR NOT BEGUN...)
Don't say I didn't warn you!
Spoiler:
So, First, the title...
Through the Eyes of Fateweaver-The Geneseed...
PART 1!
Now,the story...
Kairos Fateweaver gazed into the future. What he saw worried him. He saw his Master's plan unravel. Malal, god of chaotic intent, awaking from his so-called endless sleep. The figure of Munin, Legion Lord of the Sons of Remembrance was freeing him. Fateweaver thought, "Why would they help him? Sure, he is their god and all, but, the thing is, while he was asleep, he couldn't leach their life from them."
To search for the answer, he looked into the past....
Sorry to disapoint you and all, but I haven't comleted part 2 yet, so stay tuned for more.
(Oh! and if you can, please post C&C on the previous pic, If you can't, tell me and i'll get a better quality pic....)
Until next time...
M.K
(NOTE: If you look in the top right corner of the pic, you can see other various marines from the SoR, as well as the still un-named sorcerer! (So PLEASE keep the names coming!))
Also, If you think of any improvements for my fluff, or you have some ideas of your own, please tell me either by PMing me or posting it up here on the blog. Any help with rules for the codex would also be welcome.
I am grateful for ALL help given.
While I'm thinking of it, Here is the *NEW* Symbols for the SoR:
unfortunatly i've had some 'technical' difficulties with the pics. I'll post them up later today (HOPEFULLY!)
Still working on part 2 of the story, should be finished by this afternoon...
I know that you have all been waiting for better pics, but there has been alot of technical issues, I finally have uploaded them, though! Here they are:
Only one of them seemed a tad bit bad when I uploaded them, maybe being enlargened made it bad.
Anyway, it has been deleted, the good pic (of the eyes) stays!
Ok my flgs is having a special 3 month long army creating event, and I'm thinking of joining in. It all so has a second part, a campaign.
If I join I'll be doing a captain level (1000pts) or traitor guard/cultist army
Thinking between footslog (which is cheaper but less fun/different/creative) or aircav with a twist. Of course, the army will be Malal themed, with a SoR member as a count as Straken.
I really like the scheme youre using on these CSM, monochrome is always fantastic if you can pull it off, but you do have to make sure any splashes of colour are very clean, otherwise the mini can very quickly look unfinished. Good luck, enjoying the progress so far.
Why thank you!
And that is also the reason why I am not showing you all the plasma gun.
And, I have a dilemma, if I do a 1000pt cultist/traitor guard army, I may not be able to get more chaos marines or orks.
In other words... No Fellmaster or Munin!
I'm thinking of possible poses for MUNIN, so far I have lunging with a sword, In flight or 'Hovering'. In the last two I have thought of making him breath fire, like a dragon (Count-as Wind of Chaos)
What do you guys (and girls) think?
Do you have any other ideas?
Matt.Kingsley wrote:Making fire!
They don't have to be yours, they can be anyones!
Everyone please help me create awesomeness!
Can't find the link or remember the guy who made it (irony), but it involves having wire and GSing around it. I think the example "here's one I made earlier" model was a terminator librarian if that helps.
Matt.Kingsley wrote:@ shrike: thanks! I'll try and find it! good to see you posting here again!
Yeah, I've got a distinct lack of presence on this wonderful forum due to laptop timing, GCSE's and minecraft.
GCSE's are almost over for now, laptop timing has, let's say, an exploited loophole, and the minecraft sever's down at the moment, but as soon as that happens I'm off on holiday for the next week.
Your worse than a year fiver at my school! Everytime I see him he is either talking about minecraft or imitating some guy of a YouTube vid (you know the one where that guy says pills the whole time?)
Sucks about the timing, but a holiday should be nice, shouldn't it?
Generic Voice 1 "this world aint big enough for the both of us"
Generic Voice 2 "Tell you what, you go over there on that continent and ill stay here, should be plenty of room"

Generic Voice 2 "Craft a boat numbskull this is minecraft"

*exclamation of joy* Generic Voice 2 "DIAMOND!!!!"

*exclamation of distress* Generic Voice 2 "What the hell man you stole my Diamond

ah
ah well that sucks, in my opinion i would be using copper wire now to make an armature and then i would at the green stuff to it later
ie get some thin copper wire and make several straigh wires which spray out from a central point in a cone, when you get the greenstuff cover the wires lightly and then pack some more into the core, then roughen the edges slowly with the greenstuff adding more untill you have nice flame size, then smooth the sides down and allow to dry, then paint
Automatically Appended Next Post: oh and curl the ends of the wires up slightly to show the natural progression of fire going upwards, also the bottom of the flames should be fairly smooth whereas the top should have toungues of "moving" flame coming of it
