All Warhammer stores, across the world, will be celebrating Warhammer Day on 29 June 2019.
And whilst nothing concrete has been shown, we are promised lots of Swag.
The only thing specifically mentioned, but not shown, is a Store Exclusive Funko Pop, and a new Collector’s Edition Model (redacted by Inquisition. Not the modquisition, for clarity).
Loot Group will hopefully be out in force to get the Goodies to the Good

From the Warhammer TV Facebook page:
We're certainly throwing a party in our stores, but there may well be some ways you guys who live a long way from us to get involved too. We'll have more details for you soon - don't worry
Would they even bother making it a big deal? We've seen the Soritas model, so there's no real secrecy. I wouldn't be surprised if she is an exclusive model, but if it is her, why bother hiding the reveal?
Honestly, I’d rather get the Stormcast model for my wife. Although, if they happened to release a limited edition Daemon model (honestly, have they EVER?!)...I’d be all over that. $60 limited edition Be’Lakor in plastic!! I’d buy it.
If the Terminators and AoS models are available, it's just after my payday, and when my flatmate pays his rent.
So should be able to purchase over and above Loot Group requests.
If so, I'll do a Trading Thread here on Dakka, so those not keen on Facebook (and fair enough) get a chance at some Lootin'.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and I've been cheeky and emailed GW to see if they can let me know the prices in advance - not necessarily before we know what the models are. Just like, couple of days before.
Perfect timing for me, the Mrs. is away that day, so I can bring an armful of goodies home without any funny looks. I think that weekend is my local store's Store Birthday as well!

Which is nice of them, as this was announced pretty last minute and meant I couldn't get the day off.
Unless you’ve a buddy in your own location. Saves on postage, innit

Not at this point, but my suspicions are...
Terminator Captain and Terminator Chaplain - those preciously available at Store Rebrandings
Ditto the two Stormcast (Sword Lady and Hammer Boy).
Plastic Sister of Battle.
This is mostly an educated guess. With all the stores making the switch in branding at once, they’ve ‘cheated’ us out of those rebrandings. And it’s relatively rare for a given store to relocate, and refurbs are few and far between. That means their relatively rarity has seriously increased. Giving everyone a shot at these models on one particular day makes sense to me.
Which of course, isn’t the same as it making sense to GW
If my suspicions are correct, I’ll be out Lootin’ for my group, and, cash reserves allowing, I’ll get some extra to pass on through Dakka, At Cost.
I am off that day. My poor daughter is going to have to suffer for a couple hours of me needing out. Though I kinda want to get her started on an army.
First day of my summer vacation, so perfectly synched from my perspective. I’ve had an eye for that Terminator Chaplain for quite some time - it would be great for an opportunity to pick him up. Then I wouldn’t mind getting that new Sororitas model too...
If the SC are available, my wife will be getting both. Most of the recent purchases have been for me with the HoS release, but two new limited Stormcast sculpts and the looming Sylvaneth release are on her radar.
For those without a local Warhammer Store, I’m arranging a mass lootin’ on my FB group as soon as we know prices (likely £20 though).
And for those on Dakka averse to Social Media, I’ll be picking up an as yet undetermined number of extras, and will sell on At Cost here on Dakka.
Given those in climes foreign to my own are most likely to be without a local Store, it may (with Mod approval) be a lucky dip. Post interest, and I’ll pull names out of a hat (well, Joseph Joseph mixing bowl anyway) after a set period (maybe 48 hours). That way those not in my time zone aren’t automatically locked out.
If there’s less interest than stock, obvs that stops being a problem.

You did read the bottom of the page?
* However, if your store does run out of stock on the day, fear not – Sister Superior Amalia Novena well also be available as a Direct-only miniature that you can order from Games-Workshop.com
As part of our global Warhammer Day celebrations on the 29th of June, a brand-new unpainted Funko POP! Space Marine Intercessor is going to be available!
This new Funko POP! will only be available while stocks last in Warhammer and Games Workshop stores, and from Games-Workshop.com, and will first be available on Warhammer Day – the 29th of June. Duncan has even made this handy video to give you some tips on painting your own.

Actually, it may not be. The language in the Bulletin suggest there may be other opportunities.
the first time you’ll be able to get your hands on her
More clarification may be needed before you dump a lot of money on this.
Theres always someone missing out for a number of reasons, personally im missing out as il be at a festival in a foreign country and wont have(afford) internet on my phone.
But yeah it does sound like she will re-appear at some point, prob like Sly she make an appearance a few months later!

Sweet! I can't wait to get mine for making a Crimson Fist! Now I don't need to repaint my Ultramarine.

Their phrasing could be clearer but it looks like it isn't an exclusive model after all.

Price £20,
based on the warhammer community site I highly doubt it will be a pre-order
The Battle Sister miniature has been said to be available direct-only later on, but is that the exact same thing, as in with the art print? The wording of the article saying the set specifically comes with the miniature and a print, then only mentioning the miniature will be available later, really isn't clear about if it being packaged with the A4 art print is for the day only or not. Surely that huge box for a single infantry-sized miniature will mean lots of empty space too?

Price £20,
And for those of us in the US it'll be $35 according to their info. Gotta love that 40% upcharge on the UK price over the actual current currency conversion, lol. And, yes, to save gamers down under from furiously typing a followup, I already know you have it worse.

It's actually a 67% upcharge. The British price is inclusive of sales tax (VAT) at 20%, so the "before sales-tax" price is £16.67.
…but we’ll also have this handsome set of exclusive Objective Markers!
This set of brushed-brass markers feature the new logo on one side and are numbered 1 through 6 on the reverse. They’ll only be available in stores on Warhammer Day, so make sure you pick up a set to commemorate the moment!

Can't wait for the new SoB miniature (and the rest of them). Really like the design. Really like the original artwork so it's not a surprise really. Clap clap GW.

Why would you expect to pay the currency conversion rate when you're not converting currencies? You are making a purchase of goods in your nation.
Just to chip in on the issue of the future availability of the SoB miniature: it is currently available to pre-order on the GWUK website, although confusingly it says on the product page that it "usually ships within 24 hours" and its avalability is "In Stock". Over on the DarkSphere website, meanwhile, the miniature is also available to pre-order, but is apparently not released until the 24th of August. The website says "Games Workshop have informed us that this product is being made to order. Once the initial allocation has been sold, stock will follow at some point within the next 8 weeks". Also the description is of a "multi-part plastic kit", with no mention of any artwork.
Just to check, there wasn't any art cards other than the apocalypse set, was there? The preview video for the day showed a completely different set of art cards, but Staff said that was all there was. Can't figure out where the ones in the video are actually from, it shows 6 (but most are hidden) - 2 appear to be art that was given away at the 500th store event, but I have no idea what the rest are.
The Art Print for Sister Superior is in the box apparantly, but I can't see any mention of it in the box, surpisingly. Seems quite a small box for an A4 print unless it's very folded up.
Was hoping to grab a set of objective markers today but had an early morning race in Essex and now stuck in several of hours of M25 fun trying to get home so suspect they will all be gone by time I get to the local store. Oh well, always next year!
Souleater wrote: The Sister Art print is indeed folded up in the box.
Folded so there's creases visible? I've not seen it myself yet, but it sounds odd if they'd give you an art print and then potentially ruin it with lots of folds right away.
The art print is folded in the box and it unfortunately is the exact kind of poster stock that shows big white seams right through the center of the battle sister proper.
It is just the stock art of the sister on the white background. You may as well take your own to a print shop.

She’s an absolute beauty. Mine is coming in the mail.
I’m disappointed by the “art print” though. I would rather have had a postcard style print the size of the box.
First time going to a GW on Warhammer Day....man GW needs a store policy about hygiene. Good gods, nothing is worse that a small store filled with unwashed nerds.

Managers do have the, struggling for the right word here, perhaps blessing/agreement/encouragement from Head Office to hoof stinky people out.
At least, they did 10 or so years ago when I last worked for GW. And yes, I did exercise that. It’s awkward of course, but better than potentially losing sales because Wee Jock McPlop, with his Week Old Undies is reeking the place out with his, uhhhh.....rather vibrant bocquet?

Do we have to go into this again? Nine times out of ten what you're smelling there is called "lots of young people packed into a small space in summer", and it's the same reek you'll find anywhere that qualifies for that description. I think I saw an actual genuine No Hygiene Guy like, three times in the course of the twenty or so years I frequented actual stores for gaming.
I'd say if GW want folk to stop complaining about smelly stores, they would be better served paying for reasonably sized venues and proper air conditioning than coming up with specific policies to address rare fringe cases.
Got my Funko and Sister online, but apparently the badge/pin ran out while I was looking to see if they restocked the contrast colors I need. Was a bit bummed to not be able to get the Objective markers, but I think I like the logo on the Community ones I got at Adepticon better.

Nah there's usually at least one who's smell is stale, and not fresh sweat. And they usually have long nails with dirt under them too.. Bleugh!

Congrats! It's a great looking model that I also hope to own someday.

Nah frendo. There wasn't a single person in the store I was in under 20 other than the ones who had kids of their own and those were too small to smell like adult B.O. It was straight up good old fashioned bad hygiene.
....in fact I rarely see actual teens in my local GW.
Also I wasn't born an adult lol. I know what teens smell like and its not hot armpit regardless of season unless they have bad hygiene.

Depends actually. Game 3-4 of a 2k point tournament NOBODY smells good anymore. Deoderant only goes so far.
University of Nottingham had its open day today. So like every good parent I took my eldest around the Uni... Then diverted to Warhammer World. Perfect timing...
Holy cow that exhibition is amazing. Lots of the new sister on sale, sadly my budget only went as far as 4 x resin weapons for my AT warlords.
If she ends up at Nottingham it's going to destroy my bank balance.
Essentially a head taller than the old one, like any other modern human compared to one from twenty years ago. Not in the least surprising, and considering we already have Celestine and the twins, not new either.
The thing that stands out is that she is female, thus by GW's standards reasonably realistically proportioned, standing next to a male model who as a Marine may very well be the prime example of GW's heroic proportions, even if they fixed Marine anatomy with Primaris.
We should be glad that the plastic Sisters came out this well and don't feature big heads, hands and feet.
To add to that, she's not marked as direct only on GW's online store, so unless they change that down the line, independent stores should be able to get her normally.
Speaking to my local GW manager, there’s a limited run now that every store can get, then she’ll disappear for a bit until the plastic sisters come out. Apparently the plan for plastic sisters release is still September/October, but obviously is subject to any delays.

This last bit is why the point keeps needing to be argued - you didn't have a clue what you smelt like when you were a teenager, it was very probably "hot armpit" on several occasions, and that's entirely normal as a study on the matter has suggested 12-18 year olds are less capable of recognising certain smells, like sweat and cigarette smoke.
Regardless, even if older people can tell when they have BO, it's also not that easy to avoid when lots of people spend several hours in a hot, confined space with IME almost certainly inadequate aircon; deoderant can only cope with so much.
The thing that annoys me about the subject is people keep talking about the IME extremely rare Actual Stinkbeast type character when the vast majority of the time what they're referencing is just the unavoidable result of the situation, and so they perpetuate a nonsense stereotype.
Football shirts can end up honing quite a bit on a hot day. By the end of a Summer's day sci-fi convention at the hotel my wife worked at, the air was quite hostile as a result of polyester Star Fleet uniforms.
Plus some people don't realise they/ their clothing smells. As a non-smoking teenager living with smoking parents, I had no idea how much cigarettes made your clothes stink until after I moved out to a non-smoking house.
I despise the eyes on the Funko Pop models so I took the liberty of editing them to see if they could be improved. The mocked up result is probably achievable with green stuff or your modelling putty of choice. I fully overlapped the lens so that if you wanted to attempt this yourself you'd only need to paint over the new lens, rather than trying to get a colour match if you're fixing an already painted model.

I think they go from looking rather derpy to rather good by just changing eyes/lenses. I note the original concepts did not use the god awful button eyes before they were changed. A pity.
