Thanks for the input. I would tend to agree with you if the moving parts were rivetted, but I'm trying not to do that. Also

I got a bit of work done yesterday on the Medusa.
Here's a bit of paint (nothing so spectacular yet, but I felt the need to prove that I've been doing things.
Here's the GS work on the cannon to match with the LRBT cannons. Off to a good start, imho. I'm planning on adding a bit more detail to the Crest/Coat-of-Arms thingy.
Also, I worked on a little project for Vik: Steampunk Goggle Heads FTW!
This one didn't turn out as good, he's got a bit of a googley eye (opposed to goggle eye ), so I'll redo one half of the goggles.

Thanks, buddy! I'm not sure about the details on the shield (the one on the LRBT cannon is significantly smaller ), so we'll see how it goes. I'm not sold on the black idea yet, but there is a lot of khaki left to paint before we get to gold, so we'll see what happens!

Things are progressing as well as could be hoped! The wife isn't sleeping so good these days, except for 6:30am when my alarm goes off. She always falls asleep at 6:29 after a long night. Our apartment is being invaded by small pink clothing, furniture that I cannot use, and hand-me-downs from almost everyone we know BTW, thanks for the tip, Vik! I'll certainly pass that on!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the increasingly less frequent posts; life is a bit interesting at the moment
A bit more paint on the Medusa. The Cannon saw a bit more GS work, but I'm not quite finished yet. Keep a lookout
I started the Vendetta Retrofit (partially by accident, since one of the wing/tailspar sections broke off ) My plan is magnets. I think two 5mm magnets in each wing should be strong enough.
And, since I can't stick with one project at a time, Plasma Vets! I'll get the one standard Vostroyan plasma gunner, but here are the other two to fill out the squad. Still a bit of GSing to do, but you get the idea of where I'm going with them.

Hold yer horses, here's yer update
I haven't been working on the Medusa so much lately, but that's only because I've been cranking on the Vendetta!
Got the wings magnetized, and I'm pretty happy with the strength (stay tuned for the rear wing)
I went with a Fortress Grey two-tone, like we talked about earlier. You likey?
Here's a closeup of the front end. Still a lot of work to be done (especially on the pilots), but I'm happy where things are going.
Spoiler:
You like the flowers in the background?
A few bits of input I would like: 1)Does the vendetta need some red markings on the nose? I don't want it to too out of control, but I wasn't sure if a unit marking would be sufficient. Which brings me to my next point: 2)Where should the unit markings go? Nose? Wing? Tail? All three? 3)How should I paint the pilots goggle lenses? Doing the standard green that I've been using for the rest of the army feels too hi-tech to me, and I think the area is too small to do a proper lens effect. Any ideas?
I love the Vendetta! I think the red you have is perfect. Just enough to stand out with out it REALLY standing out. I would put unit markings on the red part on the pieces going to the back wings. Nice and simple and look like they would fit in there.
sparkywtf wrote:I love the Vendetta! I think the red you have is perfect. Just enough to stand out with out it REALLY standing out. I would put unit markings on the red part on the pieces going to the back wings. Nice and simple and look like they would fit in there.
Thanks for the CC, Sparky! I'll have to ponder the unit markings on the tail spars: I'm not sure that the black and red icon would show up well on the red background. But I've been wrong before once
yea put the unit markings on the tail fin is my thought. well you could always do a black on the lenses like a modern fighter pilot. just a thought on that too. but yea everything is looking great so far man keep it going!
a) purge it with fire?
b) how nice...shows you have a female touch in the house...*ducks*
c) who did notice flowers in the background when a valk is in the foreground of a pic...
maybe you coudl do some small markings like numbers and such on the hatches? on the sides...
also about the goggles...mybe you could do them just balck with some grey highlights?
like
by the way... will you keep that valk rather clean and well maintained? or will it see some weathering soon? not that i might be understood wrong here... thast clean job really sits that jet very much!
oh and as for something for the nose of the valk... i think vostroyans are way to sober to do some pinups or shark teeth... so let it stay that way too...
Good scheme. I'd paint the lenses in dark blue. Also I don't think it's too small for a proper effect. Just start with black, give it two blue increasingly bright highlights, blue wash the whole thing, white reflex point and done.
Like Vik I'm curious whether you will do weathering. So far your Vendetta is nice, but a bit flat. I always find shading/highlighting vehicles difficult, so I understand if you don't want to do it, but some weathering could add enough realism to distract from the missing shading.
I would be afraid to weather that nice of a paintjob myself. It's plausible to assume aircraft are much better maintained by the Imperial Navy from the facilities on-board ships (which are designed for long campaigns and crusades)

Tail Fin makes sense: maybe ID numbers? I like your idea of small markings, Vik! I'm sure I can find a lot of reference pics with fun little things to paint. Little caution signs, and "No Step" labels. Those are the things that really make things pop!

So I'm hearing black or blue: sounds good! And thanks for throwing down the glove, Baiyuan I don't think I would have tried the lens effect if you didn't challenge me to it
Viktor von Domm wrote:i think vostroyans are way to sober to do some pinups or shark teeth... so let it stay that way too...
I was thinking less teeth/pinups (do Vostroyan women have mustaches also?) and more the standard red Vostroyan stripes. I think I'll do something subtle...
Viktor von Domm wrote:by the way... will you keep that valk rather clean and well maintained? or will it see some weathering soon? not that i might be understood wrong here... thast clean job really sits that jet very much! oh and as for something for the nose of the valk...

I hope that the highlighting will give it a good pop when I get around to that. I've also been rethinking my "limited weathering" stance lately. It originated partially from a fear of tearing into freshly painted tanks and partially from a "Vostroyans are proud of their mustaches and tanks" viewpoint. From a fluff perspective, newly founded Vostroyan regiments rarely ever happen: their existing regiments are continuously replentished by incomming Firstborn, so a new off the shelf look doesn't really fit (even if they take REALLY good care of things). And it helps that I'm a bit less scared of trying out some weathering techniques. So I think it safe to say that the Vendetta will see some weathering.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments! Helpful and motivating!

I certainly won't be trying anything crazy! But some oil streaks and chips would not be amis, methinks...
You really can't go wrong with weathering on vehicles. Once you're done with all the decals, the highlights and maybe even the shading, you take a can of gloss varnish and seal the whole thing. Now you can carelessly apply filters and weathering with washes or oil colors and pigments. If you fail to achieve the desired effect just wash the weathering off and start again. When you're done the whole thing it's matt varnished and voila!
Oh yeah! Realistic amounts of streaking, paint chips, etc. sure, but at a minimum methinks. Perhaps a well-serviced condition from lots of time spent in void travel ?
how i missed this, i dunno, but the valk is looking amazing rawson! I love the oldtimey heads (makes me want to barenuckle box!) and i also like the green lenses alot too

Thanks, man! I don't know how you could have missed all of this awesomeness either The heads are one of my favorite parts as well. I spent a good deal of time on them to get the feel right. I'd hate to cover them up with a full canopy!
Thanks for mentioning the lenses. I was rather pleased with how they turned out (minus the clean up on the under-chin lens that the close up shot revealed ). The left side lens I was particularly proud of
I am trying desperately to maintain painting progress before starting any new projects, but it is difficult. I had an idea today to convert a Cairn Wraith into the Astropath that I need for my 1500 pt list. In addition, I checked out the "What's New Today" article on the GW page today and saw all the new Empire stuff to be released in a week. Super sweet! I have my eye on a lot of those kits (or at least bits) to suppliment the 104th! The Witchhunter and Warrior Priest will make especially cool conversions and I'm hoping to pick up at least the telescope from the engineer for a crewman on the Medusa. Now, if only I could come up with a way to use the breastplate of Deathclaw. Now that thing is impressive!

Not so much to report, but I've put in a decent amount of work on the Plasma Vets. I'm pretty happy with how their backpacks turned out! I was modeling them after the stock plasma gunner's pack, though they are nowhere near identical. Still a lot of GS to do, and I'd like to add a cable from the gun to the pack on the middle vet.

Dave, you had guessed "Cadian Command Plasma". Were you referring to the guns or the packs? I checked out the picture of the sprue on GW and couldn't find a plasma pack...
I got some GSing done last night. A bit of clean up on the seams of the plasma gunners (not quite finished) but I did manage to finish up the sculpting on the Medusa Cannon! A little sanding and she'll be ready to paint! I might have to rough up the clear plastic so that paint will stick to it, though. GS hasn't had any problems. Yet.

In other news: Supply Drop!
I picked up the base models for a few character conversions for the 104th. The Cairn Wraith for an astropath and the new Empire Witchhunter for a commisar! The witchhunter is my first Finecast (or Failcast, if you prefer) and I must say, I'm not so impressed. Even if you take the time to check for voids in the store, that only reveals major problems (and only on one side!). As I was cleaning up said fellow, there were many things that came to light that I couldn't see upon first inspection. Little bits of missing detail, two holes in his greatcoat (that were, of course, on the side I couldn't see), etc. Not enough to warrant the effort to exchange, but enough to frustrate me a little. Anyway, coming down now
I will shortly begin pawing through ye ole bits box for suitable components for these two gents.
Also, for anyone who cares, here is the solution to the plasma pack bits quiz:

Main component: standard IG voxcaster, trimmed and upsidedown, with a 3mm hole drilled in it.
plasma reactor (the circley bit): Part of a Tau plasma gun thing (though anything with a circular shape would have worked)
Also seen: the grill/hose from an Ork warbuggy, and part of an IG Valk Lascannon to make up the standard Vostroyan rebreather apparatus)
I hope to have another update this evening with my progress for the day!
... i try to take the ppics tomorrow...promise! too much RL (easterholidays and closed time in the nrusery school of my kids...so everyone was at home for one and a half week...)
the new minis i think will do great... the witchhunter without any doubt...the wraith will be very ineresting to see how you convert it....
lone dirty dog wrote:That has put me right of getting the witch hunter model now, why cant they sort this issue out
I agree. I don't really see the need for resin anyways. Their new plastic injection techniques have been great! The detail gained by no means outweighs the problems...

Astropath. I don't really like the stock one, so I thought I'd make my own darker, scarier version
Here's what I got done last night: cleaned up some of the garbage Failcast (though no GS yet), removed some of the overly Empire stuff (comets and fluffy pants), added the bolt pistol mag and the iconic commissar hat. I'm pretty happy with the results so far! I thought about doing the secretive unveiling (a la Baiyuan), but I couldn't manage Do you think the magazine comes too far down? I thought about trimming the top section off (which would require that I commit heresy, since I would be willingly destroying rivets), but the mag might look better if it were tighter to the pistol. Thoughts?
i think the mag needs a bit of GS to fit more snuggly to the pistol but otherwise i think it looks great!
where did you get that hat?? don´t recognize that one...
and
*off to get hard time with the cam...^^*
Automatically Appended Next Post: no...really the hardship begins when i have to wrestle with the bitzbox... i should be really finishing the knight^^ and bitzboxes wet the eppetite for mini assembly^^
Viktor von Domm wrote:i think the mag needs a bit of GS to fit more snuggly to the pistol but otherwise i think it looks great!
Thanks, Vik. GS will come next. I'll see what I can come up with
Viktor von Domm wrote:where did you get that hat?? don´t recognize that one...
It's a Baneblade commander's cap, and I've been saving that head for a special project. I think it does the job pretty well!
Viktor von Domm wrote: i should be really finishing the knight^^ and bitzboxes wet the eppetite for mini assembly^^
I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you looked at my workspace, I have at least 6 different projects I'm working on (Commissar, astropath, Medusa, plasmagunners, roughriders, and snipers). Do what you want to do, otherwise you get burned out. I find that going around in circles (from project to project) is the fastest way to get somewhere
I like the look of the witch hunter great idea, plus removing all that detail has worked wonders, as Vik had mentioned a little GS work might help to blend the mag better.
I like the idea of the commissar hat although it looks a little to small at the back of the head, will you be GS it out a little? It might just be the camera angle.
You could give him a fur centre band around his cap to help tie him in a little more with the First born look, but otherwise love this conversion wish I had thought of it myself as I want one now.
Really great job and looking forward to the Astropath conversion .
Interesting, even moreso considering that the model has been lying on my table for a while now and apart from considering to bring it back, because it's a terrible cast, I'm thinking about pimping it into the 41st millenium. You made some interesting decisions, by taking away the hat, but leaving the face (obviously a good choice for a commissar) and removing the detail on the pants (will you resculpt them?).
The gun looks good, but did you consider changing the hammer? It's ok, but maybe a bit too "flintlocky".
your commissar looks good. he looks like he needs a power sword or bionics. something like that. banblade hat is all kinds of win cant wait to see more man.
Viktor von Domm wrote: here it is...even with a comparrision of either IG or SM plasma gun...
I really like the ones on the left! Do you think it's be too bulky for an IG conversion? It might be hard to get it close to the body.

Thanks for the compliments! (though I wouldn't say I removed all the detail ) As for the hat, what you're seeing is his ear sticking out I think. The hat is a pretty good match actually. I don't know about the fur strip. He already blends in a lot, which doesn't go so great with the fluff (as commissars are always from a different planet than the unit they're attached to). Keep your eye out for the astropath
Baiyuan wrote:Interesting, even moreso considering that the model has been lying on my table for a while now and apart from considering to bring it back, because it's a terrible cast, I'm thinking about pimping it into the 41st millenium. I'd say take him back. I got a little too far into my project before taking a really good look, and now I'm regretting it. Thanks for the compliments though, Baiyuan. I appreciate it greatly, especially from you! One upside to finecast: softer material. It made hat removal possible whilst saving the face. I thought he had the perfect commissar look: dangerous and calm. He kind of reminds me of Sam Elliot in Tombstone. As for the legs, I'm going to try to get away with just resculping a bit around the knee and patching the holes higher up. We'll see how it goes. Good catch on the hammer of the pistol. It's quite similar to the Firstborn sergeant's which, point of fact, doesn't have a hammer. It's days are numbered.
alabamaheretic wrote:your commissar looks good. he looks like he needs a power sword or bionics. something like that. banblade hat is all kinds of win cant wait to see more man.
"All kinds of win" I like that! I agree on the "powersword or bionics" comment. I've been trying to figure out how to add one more "grimdark" feature, but I'm not sure what it would be. I'd like to leave the patch, so bionic eye is out (which is good, because that would be a tough area to resculpt). I thought about a sword, but the only place it would really fit would be his back (and it would be sheathed, so it would be hard to distinguish from a regular sword). Maybe a Vostroyan-esque rebreather pack on his back? Any other ideas out there?
I think if you remove some of the outside holster and stick it on the side, with GS as all have said, it'll look more like it's meant to fit, and less like it's a conversion...it's difficult because a bolt pistol is a blunt weapon while that pistol is very streamlined.
Imperial Monkey wrote:I think if you remove some of the outside holster and stick it on the side, with GS as all have said, it'll look more like it's meant to fit, and less like it's a conversion...it's difficult because a bolt pistol is a blunt weapon while that pistol is very streamlined.
Yeah, I had thought about shortening the overall length to get it closer to standard bolt pistol proportions. What do you guys think?
VikingScott wrote:Love the witch hunter conversion.
Dont mess with the face you could add some kind of digital com to his gloved hand to 40k up, I would not mess to much with the pistol myself unless you are really sure it is what you want.
I think you might be right about the hat know looking at it again, it is the angle and light that threw it off a bit.
Here's what I did this evening: the astropath has hands! I was going for the creepy, decrepit look.
I'd like to get the left hand a bit more angle, but that will have to wait until later, since I'm going to bed...
hmmm... should i make a test for you? by the way...the plasma guns i have are all orky ones... from different editions... i looked them up on various ebay auctions... ebay GB has quite a few of them... so you might be lucky to get them...

Yes, I agree with Vik on this one a face is needed although comic relief is not the way I would go something old and serious looking .
Superb blog - full of great ideas to steal. Great work on the witch hunter conversion - I didn't buy him yesterday because I thought he would be too hard to convert (yours looks ace!). Really looking forward to seeing how the Astropath is going to work out.
I just thought it would be fair to warn everyone: I'm saying farewell to 40k. Not that I dont enjoy the game or modeling. That's not it at all! This is very much an "It's not you, it's me" situation. As of today, I officially have no time to dedicate to it. At 12:40pm, our daughter was born! Give a warm Dakka welcome to Nora Lynn
Ok, maybe that was a little overly dramatic, but I don't really anticipate a lot of gaming in the near future, but who knows: stranger things have happened

Amazing! I'm surprised that I have seen no witch hunter conversions yet.
whoay! good to hear the lil earthdweller is finally out in the open! i hope the mother and the wee one are all in good health and spirit?
but you are kidding right? well...gaming...ok...i can see that could be complicated...for sure in the first coming days ... but everything settles after some time... status quo and so on...
and remember...all those fantastic minis... *cringes*
how selfish of me...of course you could relieve yourself of your now totally useless vostroyan army... i could lend a hand or two to help you get rid of that stuff...
tell the misses be well and take it easy. Glad to hear your daughter has all ten fingers and toes. really a shame about the hobby though, my personal philosophy on it is family first little plastic men (or in your case metal) second.
good luck with the family stuff my friend and hopefully we will see you all back here very soon.

well the personal needs sure get in the backseat when a new born is there...all pink and fresh...and that is good and all...but the more the kid is settled on this world i have come to understand that the needs of parents are important too... if one is to sacrifice too much for the sake of the kids then this leads to serious harm one day...
by the way... up till the time my oldest was around the age of four i had a sleeping count per night of four hours...so that was a timespan of almost four years with sleeping disorders due to mum coudln´t sleep because of restless legs and then because of restless junior^^

I didn't see the aforementioned baby situation and now I feel like a bit of a plank, what with my requests for pictures when you have bigger problems concerning a tiny proto-human vomiting in you nice, clean house. Thanks for all of the well wishes, Dakkanauts! With the gradual adjustment to the new family arrangement and generous paternity leave in Denmark, the 104th got some lovin' today.
Got a whole ton done today: lots of random detail paiting on Chimeras, Sentinels, and LRBTs (though no pics). You know those little things that you just don't seem to get around to? Today I got around to it!
The Medusa is almost finished now. I'm still working on the gunner and platform accessories, and have a few lines to clean up, but she's pretty close.
Got a bit done on the astropath. I found a suitably creepy head after the unanimous encouagement to not do the "empty hood" look. Thoughts?
Worked on the Commissar also, but mostly just filling the failcast problems that I continue to discover. Turns out that he looks prett good from the front, and only upon the following viewpoint can one truly appreciate the garbage that Finecast really can be.
well i wasnt expecting an update from you for a while sir, but im happy it came, the medusa is badass, obviosly ... and i loev that astropath, he's just so awsome... although the commissar is one of my favorite models you have done as of yet, so im excited for him!

One might even say symbiosis The rest of the astropath will be a bit harder. I'm not quite sure how to start filling in the robes. I'm leaning towards gluing a bunch of sprue in the void, and then GSing more somewhat shapeless robes...

Don't succumb to the inertia, Bama! And thanks, btw
I fell into a painting streak yesterday, but not much to show for it. It was more "set up the whole army and see which models need the most love" strategy, so not a lot of finished models to show, just less chaos black primer in the group shot
I've been thinking a lot about the Commissar and the Astropath.
Commissar: For a more grimdarky feel (and not a witchhunter with a new hat feel) I'm thinking about adding an aquila on his lapel and also on the front of his boots. With the hat, standard Vostroyan issue backpack thingy, and aquilas, I think that should do the trick. Thoughts? Anything I'm missing?
Astropath: The new "Illuminor Szeras" necron model is super sweet! I would love to add those spindly legs to my astropath. Then I saw that he was 140kr. On top of the 80kr I already spent on the Cairn Wraith, that would put my astropath at 220kr, or the same price as a chimera. Perhaps I'll try scratchbuilding some mech legs for the astropath. What do you guys think?
well you are a decent scratchbuilder. so i say give it a go and show us what happens. You already have the commisar right? if not the dkok looks pretty sweet and has the whole gas mask thing like some of the vostroyans. Eh looks like i have to reread you pages to find the commisar.
alabamaheretic wrote:well you are a decent scratchbuilder. so i say give it a go and show us what happens.
Yeah, but I'm more of the "turn something into something else" kind than the "build something from stock styrene" kind
dsteingass wrote:I'm afraid I'm not much help here...It took me 3 hours to sculpt a hat that was 70% styrene tube
Fair enough

my opinion tho...
I guess it's because I didn't put back all that much after removing the blatant WHFB stuff. There is especially a lack of details on the lower half of the model after ditching the fluffy pants and comet boot details,
now that I have seen your commisar I am sure you can gs your way to glory. Thought about putting an aquila or a pompous looking scarf around his neck? (I am sure his neck would get cold hanging out with the Vostroyans). I personally like my commisar with out a stache and a big pointy hat . any way dude well keep bouncing ideas around till something clicks

well actually i think this would be the strong side of the model... not everything that looks good must be overdetailed...
and this robo gear stuff is completley 28mm scale... it should be maybe just a tiny bit bigger than the legs you have envisioned... and for a tine amount of the price you don´t want to spend... if i am not mistaken i even saw some conversions of that character on google...
of course it depends on how long you need those legs... but you still can cut them down to size...
I bought a huge box full of robogear kits two years ago in a sale, it was ridiculously cheap, so I can tell you, the legs are quite nice. You can buy them for 2.99$ here: http://www.hoardobits.com/
Just came to see what you've been up to Rawson, really impressed with the commissar, great idea and you've pulled it off really well. Everyone may rant alot about finecast but it makes projects like that a billion time easier, several thumbs up.

Thanks, J-paint! I actually was thinking about your Admech chimera when i saw those legs
I think they might be a little small, but it might work with lots of them, centipede style. Not sure though, i mean the defiler legs look they would support the chassis but much smaller and it might look a little odd.

Funny you should mention it actually, this has had a load more done to it recently, just getting university exams out of the way and i'll update.

I got a bit of GS work in this morning while the girls were still sleeping.
Here's how the Commissar is coming: Aquila pin on the lapel, first of two aquilas on the boot cuffs.
Got his Vostroyan-Pattern dohicky completed. I think I stared at my bits box and a handful of bits for about three hours before I came up with something that I liked.
First round of robes for the astropath. I'm not disappointed per say, but not overly pleased with how they turned out either. I used some reference pics, but if anyone has some good CC, the astropath could certainly use it.
And on to the secret project:
Spoiler:
Space Wolves!
A handful of SWs spend the evening in alcohol and are now ready for a brand spanking new paintjob. I was hoping to find whatever program it is that people use to compare paint scheme ideas. Anyone know what it is?
The aquilas on the commissar are absolutely lovely Rawson, the tiny one especially, that must have been a nightmare to do!
The astropath's robes are looking really good actually, i like the sort of pulled in belt effect, the only suggestion i can think is maybe to have a belt buckle in the middle to break it up slightly? This is just thinking in terms of the painting side of things, might just help to break it up a little? Or maybe a small waist pouch or something simalar?
And space wolves hey? Very different! look forward to seeing what you do with them, the axe guy in particular looks very promising.
as for the astropath... i think he looks great... the robes go very well with the whole imperator scheme you did here...very good.!
and the new additions to the commissar are great looking too... specially the backpiece!
er... you really going now to the dogs?....poor rawson...
Thanks for the link, Vik! You're a lifesaver! And thanks for the compliments, too No need to mock SW were my army before the 104th. Now with less actual gaming and less actual budget, I'm looking to do a wholesale repaint.

Thanks, J! The little one was actually very easy. It's so small that you only have to give the impression of the shape. The ones on the boots are large and therefor must look nice I've been thinking up a few dodads for the astropath, I think you're onto something.
Thanks to Vik, I've been playing around with ArmyPainter. Here are the three ideas I've had kicking around my head for the SW repaint. I don't want to stick to the standard paint scheme (that's actually what I'm stripping off )
Fluff wise, I have three ideas:
1) Standard Spacewolf company (albeit with a non-standard paintjob) with SW codex. This is the most mundane idea.
2) A White scars successor chapter that uses the BA codex to get the fast vehicles. This would take a bit of remodeling to get rid of the super-SW stuff, but there is enough carry over that it wouldn't be too crazy.
3) A Spacewolf company using the BA codex (read: DC=wulfen)
Out of the three I quite like last one, I must admit a great deal of thought hasn't gone into my opinions but the DC=wulfen is very compelling. Always loved the wulfen models alot, but the opportunities for conversion are immense.
Looking forwards to see what you decide on here, all three have great potential.
hmmm... pretty basic schemes all around....not really anything offensive but also not really something that strikes my fancy... sorry mate... got anything else up your sleave? some lil twist? to make them a bit more unique?...
I like the astropath but I think the folds on his robe are letting him downa bit. A look at other robed figures, I'm thinking Dark Angels here, might help you visualize how the fabric of the robe would fall around his legs (assuming he has legs )
Ref the Space Wolves based army (I used have one in 4th Edition <sighs> ) I like the centre one and the idea of a bike based, fast attack army (I'm planning something similar with my Raven Guard). Look forward to seeing how they develop
