Andy Hall over at SG posted this in Fanatic Online #95:
As this year rushes towards its end we’ve still got some cool stuff to look forward to. The next issue of Fanatic Online contains a monstrously large Battlefleet Gothic supplement. The Fanatic Games Vault is also going to have two major new additions added, one of which has been in the pipeline for a very long time! Keep an eye out for mid-to late November.

Gorka Morka seems like an extremely likely candidate, what with the new Ork Trukk coming out soon, and the general greenskin mania that's been floating around.

What else? Man O' War? Space Hulk? Something else? Anyone have the inside scoop?

Is warhammer quest already in the specialist games range? I would love to see that come back.

Gorkamorka, with the new Ork stuff coming out, and (I hope) Warhammer Quest.

Got virtually everything they ever made for WQuest off eBay a few months back. Great game.

I had huge fun with Warhammer Quest back when it came out. I sprang it on my new gaming group recently, and it was a complete flop. Nobody enjoyed it. I think it was just a fluke, but now no-one will even consider playing it any more.

I remember getting WQ back when it came out the first time. My group at the time had nothing to do with fantasy but they tried it out anyway. The first time we played it as a group we had a game go on for something like 16 hours with people dropping in and out throughout the day and having to sub out all manner of stuff to represent the monsters from the higher level tables. The subbing was very loose and fst but none of us had anything fantasy related. After the 16 hour marathon I think everyone had made it to lvl 5 or 6 and we all collapsed from exhaustion. Now the box just sits up in my closet. I almost feel like digging it out again except I have no one to play with anymore on anywhere near a regular basis and if i\I can get someone over it will be for a real game of somethign.

I play...

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Gorkamorka.

Wasn't there a rumor of Rogue Trader or was that just wishful thinking?

There was a rumor. I have no idea how credible it was. Perhaps it was a garbled reference to the second 40K RPG book. I can't imagine that GW would re-released RT in PDF format. It's just too weird.

SPACE HULK - there were a few rumours around the time of the terminator kits, a couple more things have surfaced on Warseer in the meantime. Also, DARK FUTURE or WHQ would both be great. I'm sure Gorkamorka would also be great, though I never played the original.

The rumor I heard was Gorkamorka. I'd like to see GW re-release Spacce Hulk, the gateway game to miniature addiction and figmentia.

Dark Future.... wow, now that is a blast from the past. I didn't think anyone else remembered that one.

Didn't Jervis mention that they were looking into a Space Hulk re-release in one of his Standard Bearer columns not so long ago? I would guess (and hope) Space Hulk and would love to see WHQ but I have to assume it will be the easier Gorkamorka. GW have always said that there can be no WHQ re-release as they lost all the graphics files for it (though there are websites out there which we should not link to that have high resolution copies of them all *cough*cough*).

WHQ and Space Hulk would fit nicely with the 'game in a box' thing that GW are doing nowadays compared to Gorkamorka so we'll see hopefully

Yeah, Jervis did talk about re-releasing Space Hulk a little while back. It sounded like he was serious about releasing new miniatures, a digital timer with sound effects, etc. with it, so I think that he may not want to release it as a PDF file.

They released the original Mighty Empires book as PDF, so it's at least possible.

Hmmm... Two more possibilities that just occured to me are Horus Heresy and Battle for Armageddon, the old board games.

I'd expect it to be something they can still make a buck on by making you buy some more models.. I was saying before it'd be easy to do space hulk and just have people buy new terminators and genestealers.. that's something I'd really like to see. They could even mix it up with BFG for playing out boarding actions and stuff like that

Interesting idea. I read in the new talisman release articles that they were thinking of releasing more older board-only games to third party publishers, I wonder if those two might make it? I have and still play both of them, and horus heresy is especially cool with the recent surge in interest thanks to the HH book series. I'd still prefer it to be WHQ and Space Hulk though

Trolls in the Pantry FTW! Especially if they add a downloadable mp3 with the troll music.

Well if were just naming incredibly old games that have no chance of making a comeback I will go for Block Wars.

I can see GorkaMorka coming back as it has the possibility to make money for GW. New Ork Truk/buggy kits and new Boyz box (even if they are just repackaged). Plus, I'm sure they still have all of the DiggaNob models around somewhere.

For the second game I'm hoping for WH Quest, but I have no idea what it will actually be.

I've heard rumblings of a GorkaMorka comeback for a while now. I would also bet that that's one of them. I hope Space Hulk is the other, but I don't know anything about Warhammer Quest. What was it like, and how many miniatures do you need (on average) to play? Is it sort of like Talisman?

Great game! Unfortunately GW no longer hold the 2000AD licence so none of their games in that series can be republished.

All things considered I believe they should re-issue Space Hulk the same way they are re-issuing Talisman.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Bommerz over Da Sulfur Riva!

Seriously, though: I'd love to see Gorkamorka, Space Hulk and Rogue Trader come out as .pdfs. I have no hope that new figures (or even repackaged current figs) would be released.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Space Crusade and Heroquest would also be great. They definately contributed to my enjoyment of the hobby.

You like Warhammer Quest. Ok, then get a copy of Descent: Journeys In The Dark, and the expansions. You wont be disappointed.

I'm going to guess Space Hulk and Gorkamorka. Small games, supportable with current miniatures.
