Hi all, thought I'd finally log back onto dakka on my account- I've been lurking alot over the last few months due to my new job (not sure if i should be on the forums when I work for gee...dub (if anyone else does PM me so i know i'm not the only one)

I've got about 15 models left for my Eldar and that will be all I do for them.

Then, it's on to the Orks. 2008 will be a green year for me.

I am filling out my Eldar army. I have about 40 more models to buy/assemble/paint. Then I think I will be done with them. I finished my Tyranids and Space Marines this year (07).

I have really been working on improving my painting skills so I think I might go back to my Chaos army later in 08 and do some repainting.

Working on my Orks. Its difficult to get myself to paint so many models. They look decent, so in the end, its worth it.

Immediate plans (i.e. from now until the summer):

Finishing up my ACW Union Marines for GASLIGHT: specifically, 7 more Sash & Saber figs, including the Lt., and a converted Mechwarrior Clicky fig or two (or...four) that will be serving the Union as "Clank Troops"

Finish collecting the figs for my Red Blok AT-43 army. Consider repainting, then decide not to.

Finishing up my Naresh, Mordenguard, Ravilla and Human warbands for Chainmail.

Painting up a pile of new stuff for my Cygnar and Skorne armies, plus Madhammer and a bunch of mercs and rhulic warjacks.

Long-Term plans:

Use random sci-fi figs in the 'to do' basket as AT-43 UNA figs, mostly so I feel like I painted SOMETHING for the game.

Get some more scenery worked on, including a themed table for AT-43, and a Warmaching/Hordes/Mordheim 'cityfight' table.

Finally finishing my guard army (hah!), maybe work on that leman russ conversion, maybe do that COD Genestealer cult army I keep collecting figs for.

Little projects: More ACW for GASLIGHT (specifically Iron Brigade and some Zouaves); skinks and kroot for Victorian Sci-fi; Weird War II, maybe. Bronze Age miniatures 'not green martians'. The Crew of the Nautilus landing party (LXG style). Some pulp robots. Work on some mordheim/fantasy skirmish stuff.

Still working on the lizardmen- will be painting more of the saurus tonight.

My Blood Angels (in ultramarines colors) and my warhounds.

Hopefully I'll have the hounds done by February.
The Blood Angels will take longer cause I still need to find someone to sculpt the helms for my honor guard, and the shoulder pad for my tyranid hunters (Death company).

I plan to finish up eight Reiksguard today, then go back to working on my commission to paint a HE army by assembling the three lion chariots he wants.

Infinity....Panocieana and Ariadna army.

Complete my Dark Angel Companie(s)

I started a new Chaos army and have bought models to start DA or Black Templars.

Right now for myself I'm doing a dark angels varient army. Havent come up with a proper name yet but thinking of a red black and bone color scheme. Also beefing up my sisters of battle a bit, converting a few exorcist.

I'm also starting on some masters of the chapter and a bunch of terrain for sale.

I'm finishing up some Mercs for WM and starting Trolls for Hordes. I hope to get around to that primed Baneblade sitting around here somewhere.....

I'm going to finish my 2000 point Tau army, which will be facilitated by a move to a four-day work week, meaning I have an entire day for 40k.

That wasn't supposed to rhyme.

Built up 2k+ points of Ogres over the XMas vacation I took, now I need to base and paint them.

Supposed to work on 40k Orks once they're released, but I'm having so much more fun with Fantasy right now that I don't know if I want to even do that as much as I planned.

Finish my tomb kings, and make a decision on which circle warlock I want to take for hordes

just finished a load of ork characters and HQ's. including Zagstruk, Snikrot, Old Zogwort, SAG Mek, Boss on Bike, Ghazkull Thraka. this was over the 4 day weekend i had from work.

tomorrow i finish my eldar warlock titan, the d-cannon is waiting for me at the post office. ill spend tomorrow painting that up.

after that, 14 kommandos for snikrot, including 2 burnas.

down the road:

dredbash (2 dreds 6 kans) also possibly repainting my 3 current kans to mesh with dredbash.

paint 2 dethkoptas

paint seer council for APOC

Well, New Years day consisted of stripping about 20 figs I had scored on E-bay. I spent 10 Hours y/day getting them cleaned and base-coated.

Enter-Depressing 'Wall of Black'!!! I now have60 Marines waiting to be painted. About 35 Termies. 20 Scouts with Sniper Rifles. 1 Ven Dread. 2 Attack Bikes.

All Base-coated. All black. All depressing....................lol

PS- As an aside, I have never played 'WOW'. My GF aquired me a copy for Christmas with 2 Months subscription.

I am now asking her why she hates 40k so much that she would get me this game.

NOT going to renew subscription. Apparently you can get 'patches' like Nicabate for the addiction...................

working on getting stuff packed up to sell off via Ebay (thank you CSM Codex)

Painting up the 1000 points of Ogres I started 2 years ago, try to get them all done at last. Then it's 8 possessed, a DP and FW dread #2 to complete 2000 CSM. Then maybe my tiny Tau troop, but likely more CSM and the start of 2000+ points of TK instead

I've got 11 models to finish up for my empire army, then it's on to 150+ model greenskins for my return to 40k.

Gotta finish the painting of my Chaos Space Marines. Also, toning up the crons for a run at the 2008 GT circuit.

Started painting up my quins over the weekend. Got one almost finished. Trying to figure out how I want to paint up the others now.

Chaos and eventually stealer shock as I sold my old MC army.

I just got the almost finishing touches on modeling my Space Marine Librarian over the weekend. So him, moding up another Inquisitor and retinue, a scratch Inq. baneblade, maybe a few Inq. Knight walkers... then a list of other crap I will do when I get bored about halfway through those.

I also have to get my basement done and build a big table.
