Built a box of beastmen last night and a beast chariot. I didn't know how much work it would be to give everyone shields. They give you more than enough shields, but they expect you to cut up left handed weapon arms in order to mount the shields. They've also got the ratios all mixed up so they're giving out more Gor than Ungor. Nothing a little imagination and a hobby knife didn't fix, though.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias |

I'm painting Genestealer Hybrids. Thought I was just about done with them, but now that I'm shifting from the LatD rules to the new Ork rules, I need about 24 more painted up. :-P

Right now: Painting tankbustas and 40 or so plastic orks.
Just recently: Warboss on trike, three meganobs and 6 kommandos painted. I'm happy with all of them, especially the boss and meganobs.
In the near future: Stormboyz and trukks, and doing some minor conversions on my old trukks to make them look better, repairs to damaged models and dipping my old plastics after a bit of a clean up. then re basing all my old orks for cityfighting.
Other stuff I should be doing: Finishing off my Cygnar battlegroup, painting my friend's ogres for him, getting around to that Gothic fleet.

Putting the finishing touches on a ven dread and a terminator chappy, then on to finishing a dev squad and razorback w/hb. After that comes the slow process of building up my RW to full company status and DW as I can afford the $50 a squad price tag. The goal is the first 3 companies of DA complete with all the trimmings by this time next year.
