I just have some questions to anyone who bought this model.

1. Did you assemble the whole thing and paint it, or do it in parts?

2. Did you paint the crew.

I just started this project and am deciding how to go about this.

Looking very nice. It makes me want to paint a Titan sometime soon. Im planning a large Apocolypse force that includes a Titan.

if i ever got around to buying a titan i'd paint it in pieces and i'd paint every detail. They are bloody expensive and i'd give it the time / attention it deserved , LoL.

That's what I was thinking Segef. If you're gonna drop the $$, do it right or don't do it at all. That being said, may chaos guide your dice and good luck with the titan

Paint then put together. mine is a loyal titan but still the same. Building the feet and legs were a pita. Yours looks good so far.

I had some time to work on this again. I painted the crew and added abit more paint to the titan.

I'll start weathering it next.

the Mega bolter isn't stupid i have killed many an eldar titan with the mega bolter. volume of fire is your friend against holo fields

The reason why you cannot choose weapons on either Mars pattern Titan (Chaos or Imperial) is because they have different chasis from the older Lucius pattern Titans.

The fittings are very different, on the Lucius the heavy weapons fit directly into the upper hull (shoulders/back section) in the Mars they fit into seperate arm like joints that protrude from the titan.

It is a matter of them not having made new weapons fits yet, not them restricting your choice of existing stock.

That small point aside, the painting is amazing!

I have a Mars Imperial Warhound at home that I started painting a few months ago, but took a back seat to my Thunderbolt and my Scale modeling. I think sometime soon I might have to break back into that Titan too!

Wow! I have never seen the inside detail on one of these up close that is amazing stuff. The paint job is nice too but wow that detail.

I finally finished this model. Thanks to those who suggested I paint the interior. Now that it's done, I'm glad I did.

Excellent job on the titan! Everytime i think of or see a Traitor Titan I just assume it should be Nurgle.

Need some interior shots now.

Sigh...I guess this display of awesome should make me break ground on my Warhound still sitting in a bag on my shelf, lol

how is the titan to build? i just bought 2. i plan on magentizing the guns for the time when FW releases different guns for it.
