...I don't see what the first one had to do with ninja tau.
But the second one was cool.
That tau should NEVER have been able to kill EITHER of the Marinz. For a second I thought he was going to win and kill the third one too, but thankfully good old termie too him down.
Although...every now and then the termies roll a one.

Naysayers- present me with a viable alternative of your own, or shut the feth up. Seriously.
I could watch this sort of stuff for ages.

The closest thing the Tau carry to a bladed weapon is the Bonding Knife and that is just ceremonial. Some have the binding knife painted on their armor.
Excellent work on the animation. Makes me want to make one for the Tau as a response to that...
1) Ultramarines actually losing to Necrons? let's get real here
2) Somehow, that Tau (with Initiative 2), manages to stick his bonding knife INTO the skull of a Terminator (armed with Lightning Claws) after leaping onto his back. The Terminator who is twice as fast, and is wearing basically dreadnought armour, not only botches his attacks, but his lightning claws (power weapons), fails to cut through the bonding knife blades, whereas against other Terminators/2+ save models, the lightning claws glide through. Please Note: IMPOSSIBLE.
Finally, the same Ninja Tau manages to gain the RENDING rule, dismembering a Space Marine Sergeant before eating a Chainfist.
not bad for 10 pts!
Other than my bitter-old-man gripes, that was pretty neat.
I get the feeling that they are fighting in a giant pool of molasses. And Necron flayers rifles not only have rending, but they always roll a 6 to wound as well. I couldn't really watch them all the way through.
Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.
You ask me for an evil hamburger. I hand you a raccoon.-Captain Gordino
What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus
The first one was not that fluidly rendered. Put me off somehow. The Tau one was better. I particularly liked the lumberjack terminator and that the space marines like to shoot people in the head from 1 feet away.
Oh and that will teach the sarge to wear a freakin helmet next time!
The tau was commander Nearsight, commander Farsight's younger brother.
Unfortunately for him, commander Nearsight frequently engages multiple terminators in battle with just his firewarrior armor on. (That's actually where his name comes from.)

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.
Funny to watch for pure amusement. Heck, the ninja tau did a good as good a job as the ninja ultramarine who crushed the head of the orc war boss with a hammer.
2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.
