Woke this mornin to the GF sayin 'baby the postman delivered ur present'.

2mins l8r she arrived in the room with a box, and was sayin 'it's quite heavy'.

My eyes lit up like a boy on christmas mornin, like they still do every christmas mornin lol... And lo and behold I opened the brown box to find nice big heavy shiny SPACE HULK!!!

So I feel very happy and jus wanted to share this with all you lovely dakkaites .

One big question answered here tho... The models are slightly bigger in scale then that of the 40k miniatures!!

Also are the card piece on a sheet and you have to punch them out yourself? (The one I've been playing with the last fortnight had all the pieces loose when I got to my friend's house and I forgot to ask him)

They come on a sheet, but at least on mine, the cuts were so well done that most of the pieces fell out of the frame when I picked it up.

Just got home from work to find mine arrived today too.........but there was no one to sign for it!!

Waagh - a hexagon can be divided into 6 triangles. But all sides of a regular hexagon are equal and it also turns out that all the triangles are equilateral (each angle in the triangle is 60 degrees). Now you can calculate the altitude of each triangle and then the area? have fun workin it out lol

These mod's are the same size as my standard termies they jus need to be placed on normal size bases! as for the playin card peices i jus spent the best part of 20mins punchin them out of 12 thick peices of cardboard

Also with regards to the GF she always picks my presents she jus makes mental notes of stuff i look at in awe.

Just like christmas she bought me a collectors edition cpl Hicks from aliens... always wanted a marine model but could never find one, but cos she is always internet shopping whilst at work she found one for me thanks for the birthday wishes also but it isnt my birthday till december lol

I forgot the rules of yesteryear! As far as I can remember it plays the same as before but with some new rules added into the equation...

Had a demo play of it last nite - my heavy flamer took out 5 genestealers in 1 turn lol - jus to see it set up on the table (bloody huge maps dont fit on my table, so in came a 8ft4ft peice of plasterboard from the work warehouse last nite lol... shhhhhh!).

So roll on Saturday nite, the woman is out for the nite at her mums place and me and the lads have beer and SH!

On a serious note, I could give a rat's ass if people want to make themselves look like morons in texts and other mediums that allow very limited characters.
