**Russ Den Army Painting**

Well this is our painter Lokens first go at a nid army and he has been commissioned to paint 8000 points of the bugs including two Hydrophants by mid to end of November
first off repair and prep for paint

What colour scheme are they getting by the way? One of the major Hive Fleets? FW Anphelion?

Man, 8,000 points of any army is insane, but for something like Tyranids it's something else.

wow... if he hasn't gone completely insane by that point, send him up north here. I have quite a few still in the box that need painting. Tell him I'll even give him beer... maybe 2. But that's really pushing it.

Hi i am the painter
the paints arrived today but thanks to the great folks at USPS i cant touch the models as its tempering with possibly damaged property
Also after i finish this i need to paint 3000 points of Word Bearers, build a Dark Mech Army and then paint it

Keep looking from signs from the insane

I'd argue that after 8000pts of 'nids the fact that you're even considering another 300 pts of something else AND another army as the confirmation that you've gone insane.

I disagree. Breaking off from an 8000 pt project to do something else is the sanest
thing you can do to feed your insanity.

Most of the genestealers are snapped and the poor hydrophant is missing most of his gibbly bits
needless to say i am going to get a extended due date to most likely mid December need to get em to the client before Christmas though

ouch... the genestealers is a bad situation but they're easily replaceable in comparison to a hydrophant.
