I kinda miss the Ice Cream Truck that used to go around my neighborhood, thinking about it brings up some fond memories.

See,I live in a neighborhood in which the Ice Cream truck still makes it's rounds,and I loathe it,every time I hear that damn song I know that within 30 seconds both my children will be climbing my legs,begging for change like two little sugar junkies.

Still pretty common around suburban Oz. I don't pay any attention.

They still come around my street, but the crackheads who drive them give me the willies.

Apparently this is the norm lately,there are two different guys who drive the ice cream truck that comes through my neighborhood (I know it's the same truck,I can tell by the graffiti),and both of them are usually so faded it's hard to belive they just don't park the truck somewhere and eat all the ice cream themselves.

They still come around here. It's always these nice older couple that drives them.
One thing I'm glad about, they use an iPod for the music now. It's not that creepy serial killer (See FITZZ's avatar) discordant music they used to have.

When I was a kid my Ice Cream man used to sell those tattoos that you lick and stick on your arm.... Except they cost $25 a piece. What as stranger was his immense popularity with the 15-25 year olds.

Turns out my ice cream man was also a mobile drug dealer. Complete with LSD tattoos and dime bag choco-tacos. Needless to say his stupidity got him sent to a federal pound-you-in-the-ass-penitentiary, for slinging drugs, and endangering the welfare of a child.

When I was a kid we used to have the local 14 - 16 year old burn outs pedal around the Ice Cream cart - no truck. All the ice cream was crap or melted. There was always a bunch of bees around the thing too.

I miss driving the Ice Cream Truck from GTA 3 though...

Same, except instead of kids, it's my wife begging me to chase him down like we need a fix.

I dont miss ice cream truck , they seem to run out of choco ones when they reach my house.

What i do miss though ALOT is noodle cart. There used to be an old man pushing a small cart selling ramen noodles .

That's an even more scary prospect than the crackhead ice cream truck.

We still have the ice cream van in Britain. They come around residential areas at school closing time so if you work a normal job you'll never see one except when you are on holiday (at the seaside.)

While it's not quite the same, we do get a fortnightly or so "home ice cream" delivery truck that comes around hereabouts. You can get cartons of various ice-creams and icy-things from them.

We have to actually go out somewhere with tourists/sporting hooligans to get individual ice-creams from a van. It's not usually worth the effort.

I get one parked outside my house sometimes at about 7pm. It's dark and cold outside, who the hell buys ice cream at 7pm?!

I miss the ice-cream truck. I remember once when we saw the truck coming with his siren blaring. We all waited by the road and he looked at us and drove past us laughing his ass off.

I haven't seen/heard one in ages, although it may be beacuase apparently they get fined if they have their siren on for too long or something like that I heard about (apparently)

Nope Warpcrafter,your army is safe,it was obviously butcherd by the last CSM codex (as was mine),and thus is immune to " Vanilla-Seeking Missiles".

We don't have ice-cream trucks down here anymore. I only recall ever seeing one at my fifth birthday party, and it's all very fuzzy.
