Personally, I miss the Schawn's truck. Some of the best food you could buy, and they came RIGHT TO YOU!

When I used to do temp labor in factories, they would be visited at lunch time by a truck from which was sold all sort of freshly cooked Mexican delicacies. I was a big fan of nearly all of it, except for the pork skin burritos. I miss the Mexican food truck much more than the Ice cream truck. If those dudes went by my house, I would buy from them every day.

In Genghis Connie's younger days (likely 3-4 timeline) when we first moved to the house, she discovered the ice cream truck. Wife and both kids would run out-she was as excited as the kids. Twice I heard but couldn't find it, leading to merry chases in the SUV (at that time). Once I had an ex Navy flyer with me. We'd blast 90 to an intersection, and stop in the middle, just listening for echoes, then blast in that direction. When Frazzled says GC is going to get to the ice truck oh yes we are GOING TO FIND THAT TRUCK! you can rest assured you will find the truck (or the emergency room). Good times.

Ah the immortal roach coaches. Yes, some of them were really good.

Gah, I never thought of it before, but the Ice Cream Trucks and the Roach Couches are probably mostly drug drop vehicles out here. Only way to explain how often they are prowling out here in North Las Vegas. I can hear the stupid IC truck about a mile away and in my almost soundproof office on an almost daily basis, twice a day on school days.

I was like 10 the last time I got something for myself from an IC truck. I remember walking into the house with the prize and realizing the cost of 3 from the truck could get me a whole box of them from the store. I have since only bought from a truck twice for others because of special occasions.

We don't have ice cream trucks here I just go to the grocery or supermarket and buy them.

They are still very much common in the UK, they even come when it's cold and raining now!

I miss the ice cream truck.

My old ice cream truck mysteriously dissappeared from my town, and I have been searching for it ever since... naw just kidding but I do miss the ice cream truck.

We have them all the time here in Queensland, obviously moreso in summer.

However the meat pie van never stops... bringing delicious meat pies to your street!
