Fair enough. Not everything is for everyone of course. She's not canned, is all. (I actually think she's talented but don't care for her music all that much. Some of it's okay, most of it's kind of meh. But she's a great entertainer either way.)

As a side note: The first time I saw Lady GaGa (on VH-1) I laughed and said "meh, plastic,fake and untalented,she'll never last",the last time I made a similiar coment concerning a performer it was about Madonna back in 1983,so..yeah,I've been wrong before

Funny you use that comparison, I think she could be on that same track but we'll have to see how album 2 does. Madonna has some mad survivability and Lady G may not be able to reinvent herself quite as quickly.
I finally saw a bit of one of her videos. Someone call me when she can actually sing or write a song.
Madonna did it better 25 freaking years ago.

I endured the song/video she did with Beyonce (sp) with all the toy guns in it.
Holy cow that was the worst thing I have ever experienced (except perhaps Transformers 2). The video made no sense, the "music" appeared to be random noise and lyrics and yet repetetive at the same time.
It actually made my brain hurt to sit through it.
I don't know what is linked to in this tread, as I can't see it at work, but I can only assume it is as terrible as all the other stuff I have heard/seen from her.

How was I not here at the start of this thread?! Grr! This is my gimmick, dammit! I kid, partially... Gaga is more talented than spending 5 seconds watching a video will tell you. Try doing some research and you'll see what I mean And for the record, the Bad Romance video is pure F'ing win.
P.S. @everyone: Metal is one genre. Dream Theater does metal better than your favorite metal band as well as many other styles.
