Definitely the Lion. Cold, calculating, indifferent, tactically sound and ruthlessly efficient.

I also go to sleep for long periods of time, and black is SO in right now.

You brighten my life like a polystyrene hat, but it melts in the sun like a life without love, and I've waited for you so I'll keep holding on without you.

Angron all the way. He was the only primarch who had a real, and serious reason to not just turn against the emperor, but to also try and overthrow him. Out of all the other whiny emo-soaked complaints of the other primarchs, only Angron had a real beef. Give him leberty or.. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

Quoted from the World Eaters Index Astartes article --

"It was around this time that the Emperor came to this world, drawn by the psychic aura of the Primarch. The Emperor had observed Angron in secret from orbit for some time, watching with pride as he led the slaves in battle. Now he descended to the planet's surface, offering Angron leadership of the World Eaters Space Marine Legion and a place at his side. But, to the Emperor's surprise, Angron refused. His place was here, with his fellow slaves, and he would die before deserting them. Angron and the slaves dug their graves during the night, a signal to their enemies that they would fight to the death rather than surrender. The Emperor knew that even though Angron was a Primarch, he would perish in the coming battle and, bringing his ship into low orbit, teleported Angron away from Fedan Mhor. Without their leader, the morale of the slaves was destroyed and the following morning they were slaughtered by the combined armies of the planet's rulers. In space, as the Great Crusade continued, Angron eventually took command of the World Eaters, but never forgave the Emperor for his abduction from the planet and what he saw as a betrayal of his martial honour."

Joining in and drastically swinging the fight in the slave's favour and then having a planet quite loyal to the Emperor may have been a significantly better option, but hindsight is a bitch.

Well, discounting all the Daemon Primarchs and the MIA Loyalists leaves Guilliman. Still suspended in a Stasis field on Macragge.

I choose Alpharius. I always liked his doctrine. "Use whatever works". And who can resist the lure of Assassin Spy Ninja Astartes .

Seeing as we're talking about a fictional world I want to choose epoch as well as primarch...

Sanguinius in his prime. In the "Angels of Death" codex from 2nd ed (what got me into the hobby) it was said several times that his DNA was superior, and he managed to eke out a good life despite being one of the few with obvious mutations. BTW, who was the guy with only one eye? Him and Sang are the only ones I can think of.

The Lion is still alive, just in a super-coma in the Rock.

For reasons I don;t want to go into right now, I identify most with Corax.

Magnus the Red, who was also a powerful Sorcerer.

Leman Russ really sounds like he's having the best time of all the Primarchs. He drinks, he fights with his superhuman pals, brawls other primarchs for entire days, laughs it off, and goes and drinks some more. Dude basically lived in Valhalla on the mortal plane.

Leman Russ is still alive as well. Searching for something to bring the Emperor back to life.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

I haven;t gotten to listen to that yet. I mean, I assumed he could kick ass already. Pretty much all of the Primarchs could...

I just meant I identify with his period of brooding after all that loss, and his substandard attempts to fix the problem.

Off Topic, but does Raven's Flight go into Corax personality alot? He's always been my favorite primarch, for his tactics and doctrine. I'd like to know more about the actual man.

QFT!

Leman Russ is still alive as well. Searching for something to bring the Emperor back to life.

Actually he went looking for His old friend Lion El'Johnson. Although that was old fluff and GW changes it on a daily basis it seems...

-Any terrain containing Sly Marbo is dangerous terrain.
-Sly Marbo once played an objective mission just to see what it was like to not meet every victory condition on his own.
-Sly Marbo bought a third edition rulebook just to play meat grinder as the attacker.
-Marbo doesn't need an Eldar farseer as an ally; his enemies are already doomed
-Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain
-Sly Marbo still attacks the front armor value in assault, for pity's sake.

Konrad Curze.

Of course, all of you say he's just crazy, which is wrong, I'll give a real reason, which I have said once before.

Konrad Curze, or "Night Haunter" was born a poor boy, he wasn't adopted or anything, he killed the corrupted men, those who did wrong, and made the planet what it was.

All I see is people identifying him akin to Jack the Ripper, which is wrong. He didn't do anything wrong, he is the equivalent of Batman, but in the future. I will without a doubt bet a thousand dollars that GW got Konrad Curze from Batman.

He let his Legion get out of hand, he wasn't a fit general. He wasn't a commander, he was a loner all his life, and thats hard to change. Eventually, Chaos turned him and his Legions actions into less than justifiable.

He acted on hate, and revenge.

His personality identifies alot with mine. One part of me values focus and precision greatly, while the other loves to see others suffer. That makes me pretty fethed up, but that is pretty much what Night Haunter was after the Horus Heresy.

Gotta go Ferrus Manus on this one. Flesh isn't perfect, and it only distracts from the on going battle. Plus, they are an armored chapter WITH faith in the Emperor. Thats all I could ask for.

I'd be Rogal Dorn. I'm sort of boring, have definite opinions on what's right and wrong that I feel very strongly about, and in the end I'm very good at just shutting up and doing what I'm told.
